Where the relay for the headlights on a 2011 Prius is located and how to get to it? My low and high beams both stopped working.

View 10 RepliesWhere the magnetic clutch relay on a 2011 Camry is. I recently tried to refill the Freon in this car but after vacuuming the system and trying to add the Freon thorough a manifold set it does not appear to be getting added. I assumed this was a problem with the magnetic clutch relay. (also how I could get the part number for said relay).
View 2 RepliesI just purchased a 2011 Sonata. The low beams are not working and I am trying to diagnose the problem before I take it to the dealer in case it's just a blown fuse or bad relay. I have read through the owners manual and looked at both fuse compartments for the fuse and relays and to no avail. So, looking for the location of the low beam fuse and relay? I know there has to be a fuse for the headlights somewhere lol. Maybe I am missing it because of an abbreviation or something. What is the fuse name and I can go from there.
View 2 RepliesMy horns aren't working. I'm getting power at the horn fuse, but no power at the horn connectors. Where is the horn relay located? Is it in the fusebox under the hood? There are many relays, but none of them labeled "horn".
View 7 RepliesI am planning to install the WebElectric DRL-2P ( Sequential Turn Signals, One Touch Turn Signals, Challenger Sequential Taillights, Sequential Tail Lights, Mustang, Dynamite Stick Sequential, Pulsing Brake Light Pulser Flasher, One Touch Convertible Top, Dynamite Stick, One Touch Turn Signals, Dayt ) which uses the front turn signals as a DRL. Because the turn signal lights will be on all of the time, I am going to convert the turn signal bulbs to LEDs.
This will require changing the turn signal flasher (I don't want to use a resistor because of the current draw and heat issue), since the LEDs are seen as a burnt out bulb and causes a quick flash. What is the location of the turn signal flasher on the 2010? There is a thread for the 2009, but I am not sure it is the same. I would rather not take panels apart until I know that what I am looking for is underneath. What is the correct flasher to use? The closest I have seen is: LED Flasher Unit CF18-08 Specifications
One final question: Where can I locate a circuit in the engine compartment that I can tap into which is live only when the car is in the "Ready" mode. I want to use this as the trigger to turn on the DRL circuit. I have seen people suggest the windshield washer circuit, but was wondering if there is a better choice.
What is the location of the taillight relay? My taillights (and all other exterior marker lights) have gone out and the display no longer dims at night. The fuse has no supply voltage. My best guess from the wiring diagram is that the taillight relay is toast. It would seem a simple operation to pull the relay and just check it. The problem is finding it. The repair manual says it is in the fuse/relay box over the drivers side front tire. However there is no relay in that box marked as taillight and all the relays are accounted for from the diagram. The car is an 08.
View 3 RepliesI have an issue with my 2003 Prius. The reverse lights do not turn on when I put the vehicle in R. Checked the bulbs and they are fine. Checked all the relay (fuse) boxes and didn't find any burnt fuses.
I have a Haynes Manual and other than a circuit diagram, there is nothing that I could find about the location of the backup light relay. By the diagram I can tell that it is connected to a "HOT IN RUN or START" circuit and a 10 A fuse. Although it is useful for showing the wire routing, it doesn't tell me where it is!!
I have read almost every thread on priuschat and I cannot seem to figure out how to install the HID relay on a 2011. The fusebox is different from the 2010 to 2011 model and that little cover that has the white wire (coming from what I believe is the battery) does not provide useable power?
View 17 RepliesI found that both my headlights was out. I went and replaced one of the lamps and found that it still did not work. I started troubleshooting and it led me to the headlight relay. Where to find it?
*When I turn Headlight switch on = No Headlights
*When I turn the switch to auto = No Headlights
*When I turn the switch to headlights and hit the function switch to turn on brights = No Brights either
*If I pull back on the function switch to momentary = Brights come on until I release the function switch
I have 13v on Red/Yellow wire when I switch to headlights, but I do not have any voltage at the Headlamp wires.

Where the turn signal relay is located? I want to change my stock turn signals to LED. However, I don't want to use those "load resistors" or "cancelers". iJDMtoy sells an LED relay for the 14' IS (confirmed). After looking through the manual and at all 3 fuse/relay locations I can't locate it.
View 3 RepliesGolf 2.0 ... Finding the location of the AC Clutch/Compressor relay location. On the TDI its behind the the dash and I looked on mine and it doesn't seem to be the same. I've seen a thread where some said it was under the battery? Where it is and what number will be stamped on it. Another thread said it should be behind the dash and number 385 or 358, I looked and I don't have those numbers back there.

View 2 RepliesI am looking for the location of the fuel pump relay on a 1997 Chevy S10. There is a bank of relays on the firewall on the passenger side, but I do not have any info on which relay is for the fuel pump.
I briefly looked at this vehicle where they had it towed to after it had stalled on the road and they couldn't get it to start.I had no tools at the time, but not hearing the hum of the pump, and no fuel at the test port on the rail, all pointed to a fuel problem. The owners boyfriend took over from there and replaced the pump this past Saturday and still no pump.
I suggested that he find the right relay and test it, but he skipped that part. Which of those realy are for the pump??????

View 3 RepliesI have a 97 F-150 that the A/C went from blowing cold to hot instantly. I have done the following;
1. Checked fuse. Was good.
2. Checked Low Pressure connection.
On this, I jumpered the connector and could not get the clutch to engage. I also checked to make sure I had 12v from that point, which I did.
3. Checked the power to the clutch assembly. Got nothing. I also put 12v directly to the clutch and it poped in just fine.
Based on all of this I think I have a bad relay between the low pressure sensor and the clutch assembly. The only problem is I cant find it. Where this relay is located
My horn isn't working. The under-dash fuse is OK and was going to check the horn relay, but can't figure out which one it is despite numerous FTE and Google searches. I pulled the cover on 2 power distribution boxes under the hood, driver's side. One box has 2 relays. The other has 4. Which one controls the horn?
Then...how do I test it to see if it's good/bad?
My horn suddenly stays on when I hit the horn and it doesn't beep when I lock the door with the key fob. Only way to turn it off is to shut off the truck. I thought it may be a faulty horn relay. I've asked many mechanics where the horn relay is located and every one gives a different answer. Under the hood, in the driver side kick panel, under the dash, near the horn itself.
