I switched all 4 wheels with a totaled Prius 2 years ago. I didn't know that the TPMS is registered with the car so my TPMS hasn't been working since then (I've been putting this off for a while). I see that many tire shops offer TPMS resetting.

Now it looks like there is no effects as the lights will just keep blinking even if i am holding the button down. Does this mean the tire shop broke one of my sensor during the install?

View 9 RepliesOur 2015 Prius 4 with 8,900 miles just suddenly stopped chirping and turning the lights off upon locking. The courtesy lights also no longer work (the lights worked last night as I approached the car but not tonight. The locking chirp/beep worked 3 hours ago but not now. Also headlights no longer go out after double clicking lock on either of the 2 fob.)
View 13 RepliesI own a 2012 Camry and i just upgraded from the 17 inch to the 18 inch sport wheels. Do the tmps sensors have to be recalibrated because i get no readings. I thought the car should pick up on its own and show me tire pressure. The wheels came from a 2013 Camry.
View 6 RepliesI just bought my Toyota Prius about 3 months. First time I change the engine oil for this car at Jiffy lube and I replace with platinum synthetic oil. After I changing the oil for a week, my has red triangle light, VSC, tire pressure, and check light on. I can not use my cruise setting.My hybrid battery show on the LCD screen charge full very quick and it show the battery is fully charged all the time. When I drive my car for about 15 minutes, it cannot be accelerated and it run like very slow. When it happened, in the LCD screen, the battery was not being charged and did not supply the power to the engine. Then, I had to stop my engine and start the engine again. Then, it run like normally and after about 15 minutes, it run very slow. I feel very sad about this and I think I will need to replace my hybrid battery and transmission.

View 7 RepliesSo, I decided I'd swap out my 4 spoke MFSW for the nicer looking 3 spoke. From what I read, it should've been a direct fit, which it was for the most part, besides the horn not working after putting it back together. I tried looking up solutions, but to my dismay, found loads of things that didn't solve my problem. I already made sure the fuse, and the relay was fine, which they were. The horn worked fine before changing the steering wheel... For whatever reason, I'm only getting around 1-2 volts at the pin connector for the horn pin, and from what I read online, I should be getting 12 volts.
So from what I know so far, for whatever reason, the 12v from the relay, is not reaching the steering wheel fully, which doesn't allow the horn to work. I even tried putting the old steering wheel back on to see if it made a difference, which it didn't. It didn't even work with the old one on it either. I am currently unable to drive the GTI until this gets fixed,
About 65000 miles on 2013 P3. Just noticed today the engine brake appears to not be working. Was driving down expressway and the car rolled almost like it was on cruise control when I took my foot off the gas. Rolled about half mile before MPH even dropped. Tried the engine brake and the B lights up but not braking. When I got to destination I shut it off for about 45 minutes and tried it again. This time everything seems normal except no engine braking when put in B.

Again about the same distance a/c stopped cooling. And 2 mints later, following signs came on and I have taken the pictures. I am wondering what is about? Love prius but don't know japanese.

View 8 RepliesSo a couple days ago my key fob randomly stopped working. I search around the internet and found a youtube video describing how to replace the battery. I used a CR2032 battery. However, my keyfob still won't unlock my car.
Unfortunately, I bought it used and didn't receive a manual key with it (derp moment, I didn't even know there was one!) so I have no idea if it would even start my car. When I replaced the battery the red LED light flashed for maybe 10 seconds then stopped. It then doesn't flash if I hit lock or unlock.
Started my car this morning (2010) and both low beams aren't working. When set to on, only the daytime running lights come on (and yes I made sure the light switch was turned all the way). High beams work fine. Turned car off/on but still no good.
