My right headlight keeps going how so I went to Autozone thinking I would just grab a bulb.
Their chart shows that my 2009 Prius can have either HID or Halogen.

Prius (Gen 2) :: 2009 Headlight Adjuster Not Working?
I have a 2009 Prius with NON HID headlights. The left one appears to not adjust properly. If I remove the bulb boot, the light bounces up and down (the part that is supposed to adjust). When I turn the adjuster, it will wiggle down then up again, like it is not engaging the screw inside... Also, when I hit a bump, the left beam bounces. The main housing is secure, just the inner (adjustable) one is not.

On my 09 Camry LE most of the time at least once or twice when driving at night with the headlights in AUTO mode if you go to hit the turn signals to switch lanes or make a turn the switch will change to either the off position or on position. This is especially annoying as if you do not realize the headlights are on you can park and leave them on draining your battery.
I have driven plenty (hundreds) of Gen 6 Camry's and have never experienced this. My Corolla switch has never so much as hinted at moving although it only stays in the off position since DRL are always active but anyway. If I am going to replace the switch might as well opt for the XLE/SE switch for my fog upgrade.

I would like to know how you adjust the headlight height on your Tig. Does it have an electrical control/wheel on the dashboard or are there any different ways of adjusting.

I have a 2009 Camry LE V6, unmodified, bought new from the dealer.
My driver's side headlight burned out. I also noticed my driver's side high beam was burned out as well. This is unusual as I never use my high beams. The main headlight was an Osram Night Breaker Unlimited. I swapped in my spare Philips bulb and all was good for a 3-4 days. The spare is a few years old that I kept when I installed the Osram.
Today I noticed the backup bulb has burned out.
So it's either a coincidence that 3 bulbs have burned out in the driver's side assembly, or there is a greater issue. My worry is that I will install a new bulb and it will burn out in a few days. Is there anything I can do, short of taking it to the dealer, to try and troubleshoot this?
Sonata NF (2006-10) :: 2009 - Headlight Fuse Keeps Blowing
I got in my 2009 Sonata this morning, started it and turned on the headlights. The headlights turned on momentarily and then turned off. The 20 amp headlight fuse blew. I cleaned the battery ground on the fender and the battery terminals. I also cleaned the connection between the battery terminal connector and the negative cable. I put everything back together and installed a new 20 amp fuse. I turned the lights on. They lit momentarily and then, predictably, blew the fuse again. Curiously enough, the "passing lights",which are just the high beams on another position on the headlight switch, still work.

Driving to MA from PA, stopped for a meal, got back in car & got msg on info panel that R front headlight was not functioning. It was raining hard, but still daylight in late afternoon. Checked other lights & all seemed ok - running light working. Back in car - another 175 miles to go & it became evident R turn signal wasn't working. Did get to MA early evening, checked lights again & found that brake lights weren't working & more. VW dealer in town checked it out next day & said 30 amp fuse for lighting was melted w/fuse block, which they removed & replaced. Turns out I'm not the first person - VW instantly said they'd refund the $531 it cost, which tells me they're aware it's a fault of theirs. I'm wondering - what caused this? Google tells me they've had probs with this with Tiguans & a bunch of recalls. What's to stop it from happening again? What would have caused the fuse to melt in the first place? My husband has a 2013 Jetta TDI. Does that mean his car is at risk?

I bought a used 2011 ford f150 crew cab lariat. I love it!! 5.0 liter, towing package. I notice that when I turn on the headlights, there is no indication on the display that they are on ! When I put it on high beam, I see the blue light icon on the display.
2. Another question, it has the headed mirror option, but I can't find any control that turns this on. Is this automatically controlled??
3. One more. It doesn't have daylight running lights and when I leave the headlights on and exit the vehicle, the headlight stay on! There is an auto delay digital switch on the display but I think that only applies to how long the headlight stay on when exiting the vehicle and the light switch is on auto. I am confused about the light setting on the truck.
The truck only has 24k on it so is still under bumper to bumper warranty.
Corolla / Matrix 2009-13 :: Toyota Headlight Went Dim And Airbag Light Came On - Reset?
A squirrel chewed through some wires in my 2009 Toyota Corolla. My left headlight went dim and my airbag light came on, all within a matter of days. I had the wires repaired and the airbag light never went off. I waited for months until I found out that my airbags won't deploy if I am in an accident. I did some research and from what I gathered until the problem is fixed the light will remain on, (Problem cannot be reset).
I took it to the same guy who fixed the wires .The code that came up was a faulty module. He said since my bags did not deploy the module most likely tripped and he could try to reset it. He tried to do it manually and by the SRS reader with no luck and told me I should go to a shop with a more advanced reader so they could try to reset the module and if that doesn't work go to Toyota.
Can this problem be reset? If it is reset how do I know there still is not a problem that needed to be fixed?

My driver side low beam is not working. I checked the bulb and it's fine. I also checked the fuse and it's fine. Took it to the dealer and they said could be a few hours of labour to determine where the problem is in the wiring.

In an attempt to install HIDs on my 2013 f150 screw 4x4 I hated them and I broke my truck. I blew a fuse for the left headlight which I replaced.
My battery now reads 11.9v, I have no dash or radio lights and my truck won't even attempt to start. I can't exit park either. My door locks inside the vehicle work but my remote is useless. My headlights and dome lights work but that's it light wise.
Is my battery just too low and needs to be "reset"? If not my battery does it sound like a main relay or the body control module or similar?
Prius (Gen 2) :: Headlight Not Staying On?
My passenger side headlight always seemed dimmer than the other one. It started to stop lighting up. I replaced the bulb this morning and now it will only stay on for a few minutes before turning off. The drivers side stays lit.
I will be replacing the 12 volt battery tonight because it needs to be replaced. Would that cause this to happen?
Gen 2 Prius :: Headlight Modification To LED?
I'm also interested in converting to LEDs for my headlights, if there's an easy way to do it. I burn through a set of headlamps in about a year or less, partly because I run the headlights as running lights all the time, day and night.

Bought an 04 a couple of weeks ago and the passenger side headlight is way high.I turned the adjustment knob and it does nothing.The drivers side light is fine,but out of curiosity I turned that knob and it didn't do anything either.I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket assembly.
