View 2 Repliesis it possible to get the heated seats to come on from a cold start automatically?
If i turned the car off with the seat heaters ON and then used my remote starter; i want them to come on without me having to push the button.
For some reason my heated seats arnt working in the front, why?
View 4 RepliesSo I picked up my new 2016 LWB loaded 6 passenger Santa Fe yesterday and I'm finding today that NONE of the heated seats are doing anything. The ventilation (fan) works, the heated steering wheel works, but all 4 seats are inoperative. Now, I'm coming from a 2014 Santa Fe Sport with the same heated and ventilated seats that worked fine, and my life has a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD and hers all work fine. I've checked the fuses located in the dash and those are fine.
View 2 RepliesI got a 2010 Prius with factory heated leather seats and problem is that they are always powered on, driver and passenger side, both of them.
When I press switch under the bar it makes click sound but does not make any difference, the light on the buttons are steady ON no mater you press it, hold it or anything.
I have a 2014 Prius C Four. It just ticked over 5000 miles on the odo and I really like this car so far. There are a few annoying things, one of which is the way the heated seats work. In my other car, the heated seats had three heat levels. Once you set it, the seats come up to temperature and stays there. The Prius heated seats are just on/off. The annoying part is that when you turn it on, the heat is really inconsistent. For the past few winter months, I pretty much leave the seat heaters on all the time. During my commute, the seat temperature will go up and down about a dozen times. The temperature will rise to an almost uncomfortable level then drop back down to where you can barely tell they are on. The temperature cycles up and down and it's really annoying.
View 6 RepliesPrius four with heated leather seats noticed especially on the drivers side seat bottom on the side bolster just as you slide in not the center section. I noticed it when new, it looks like a maybe wire between the leather and seat foam.
View 4 RepliesWhy my fuse for heated seats keeps burning out??? It works for a day then next day heated seats don't work.. Changed 3 fuses in last week!
View 3 RepliesMy wife has a 2012 Camry with cloth seats and integrated air bags.
I'd like to install aftermarket heat elements. I'm worried that I'll damage something with the airbags as I pull the covers.
I plan on disconnecting the battery, and then removing the seat from the vehicle however the built in airbag has me worried.
I want to mount the switch in the empty panel next to the traction control button.
Where is the closest fuse box on this vehicle?
The 'issue' is that for the driver's seat (18-way seat), position 1.5 is slightly too hot and position 1.0 is slightly too cool. The adjustment is only in 0.5 increments so I have a problem - so far the only solution has been to keep changing the setting between 1.0 and 1.5 every few minutes.
On the passenger side the ratio of heat to settings is slightly different and 1.5 is about right. Is there any adjustment / calibration possible between adjustment setting and actual seat temperature?
I have a 2016 Hyundai Elantra with the Value Pack that I bought just a few weeks ago. The car has heated seats that work great, but the heated seats always seem hot. They are certainly not as warm as when you have them turned on, but they always feel very warm.
View 5 RepliesWe havent use our heated/AC seats for awhile. Now we noticed that the heated/AC seats will goes lower after awhile.
I asked the dealer and they're told me is normal. Lexus designed that way. wtpho!
I'm currently using a 2016 NX200t loaner and both heated/ac seats stayed on at the same fan speed.
Is it normal or dealer just playing with me?
Both seats stopped heating at the same time. The lights on the switches don't light up anymore either. Winter is coming to Colorado- where do I start to try to figure out the problem?
View 2 RepliesSo I picked up an 06 passat this weekend. Everything is great except that my heated seats aren't working. I'm sure a few of you are experiencing this cold snap. I checked the obvious being the fuse(es). I noticed on the right panel it doesn't accept a fuse. I assume this would be for rear heated seats? The one on the left seems to be unblown. Where to check? Or my next step?
View 3 RepliesI have a 2014 IS350 F sport and I don't like how the heated seats when turned on max heat, it automatically decrease in heat level over time. Is there anyway you can set it to stay max hot? I don't like how it goes to Min setting after 10-15 mins or so.
View 2 RepliesI noticed the heated seats won't turn off. Is that normal? If it's turned on and shows 3 bars it won't slowly go down to off.
View 11 RepliesI noticed if it's around -30c heated seats won't work until car has been driven for a bit. Sometimes only 1 seat can be heated at a time. Usually lights in buttons flicker. Other owners in cold weather want to add to this?
View 15 RepliesMy friend is not able to get the heated seats to turn off.
I found the fuse for the a/c and seat heaters combined, but no separate fuse.
Both seats are on. Pressing the button shuts them off, but releasing the button powers them back on.
I need a wiring diagram or how-to ???
How does your heated seats control operation work? Does the heat control automatically decrease from position 3 > 2 > 1 > Off over-time? Or, does the heat control stay (remain) in whatever position (1 - 2 - 3) you select without any (auto) change?
What is the default operation - Auto Decrease or Stays the Same?
How to change the heated seat operation method? I recall seeing somewhere to hold both heated seat button controls down until it beeps to make a change in the method of operation...and doing the same again will change it back. How to confirm that this (change) method to be accurate?
So I've wanted to post this here for awhile now but kept forgetting. I assume this is how all the Elantras are but I wanted to know for sure. So basically when people in the back seats turn on their seat warmers, and the car gets turned off. They turn back on automatically when the car is turned on. I guess because it's a push button and the button is still engaged when car is turned on again. What a dumb design! I do try and remind my passengers to kindly turn them off, but they often times forget, including myself. I'm just afraid the seat warmers are gonna wear out quicker if they get left on and I don't realize till a certain amount of time later. So is the case for everyone? Just don't understand the design behind it when the front seats turn off automatically but not the back. Wish there was a way to change this.
View 9 Replies2013 Sonata Limited. The seat heaters come on at random intervals. The switch is in the off position and the lights on the switch are off yet the heat still comes on. If I move the switch to either High, or Low the light and the heat comes on. When I turn the switch off the heat stops. The dealer looked at the switches and seat today and could not find anything.
