I have what I believe to be a loose wire on my drivers side fog light (2013 Prius C). I bought it used but I believe these are factory installed. Is it easy to get to the back of these lights?

View 1 RepliesSaturday, I parked the car and tried to lock the doors with the fob. The car held a constant beep but would not lock the doors. They locked fine from the driver's door.
Later as I was going over a speed bump, the car bleeped, the cabin light came on and off, and the display showed 'key found' in a period of 10 seconds. This speed bump anomaly happened twice later that day. Dark, I want to wait until dawn before getting serious into the debug.
My first thought is a loose ground wire or 12V connector. The last work was the brake accumulator recall. If the technician did not torque down the ground connector, there would be high resistance leading to the key fob lock problem as well as the speed bump triggered reset.
I also have a miniVCI so before doing any work, I'll use it to look for error codes. There are more than one connector that could be loose and having the codes could give us a clue if it happens again.
My drivers side seat is loose as in it rocks back and forward when I accelerate or brake. I have checked all 4 bolts they are all tight. I can't explain what i see (perhaps I can take a picture or video) but something under the seat looks irregular as in it's moving and shouldn't be. I have ECP but Lexus wants to charge $140 just to look and see if it's covered under warranty.

I started out purchasing a new bulb, from ebay TOYOTA PRIUS GENIUNE PART PHILIPS D4R 42406 XENON HID HEADLIGHT LIGHT LAMP OEM
Came in "Toyota" box. Got the bulb in and still had issues with the light turning off... so then I bought the after market ballast and replaced it yesterday. Light still going off.... What to check? Just read the article regarding bulbs, going to pull out the one I just got and have a better look at it.... Not all HID Bulbs are created equal.
I took a long trip this last weekend and before the return trip I checked the oil and realized I need some. I put two quarts which brought the level just about even with the top mark on the dipstick. the return trip was fine. Next morning I started the car and right away notice that the engine was misfiring. I checked the spark plugs and noticed that one of them was loose and had some oil in it. I checked the oil and now it showed the level to be well above the top mark on the dipstick. Could too much oil cause the spark plug to get dirty, get loose and misfire? This car is a 1997 and has 206,000 miles. This is the first time this has happened. Could the same thing happend with a 1999 Honda Civic?

View 2 RepliesSomehow, I managed to pop out the light module in the driver's side footwell. It still works, but was dangling loose by the cord. I stuffed it temporarilly behind the side trim panel, just to get it out of the way of the clutch.
It doesn't look damaged, but I can't see where/how this attaches to the structure in the footwell. I tried looking how the passenger side module is attached, but it's set into/covered by a trip panel the driver's side doesn't have.
I'm in the process of replacing my HPOP lines and fittings and after I got everything removed and started cleaning the threads before re-assembly I noticed this green wire (located above the fuel filter assembly) that apparently I pulled out of its socket.
What is it for? Can I just push it back in its sleeve right below the red wire??
Just wondering if it's possible to loosen one side of the bumper to remove the passenger side headlight ass'y?
View 1 RepliesI have a 2006 F250 and my 7pin and 4 pin connectors are just hanging loose. I'm not sure what happened to the factory bracket. What is the part number for this bracket? Also, where does it mount to? I looked under the truck and couldnt tell where the factory one mounts.
View 4 RepliesI've been having problems with my unlock on my drivers side recently, it locks on the drivers side but does not unlock, it also locks AND unlocks on the passenger side. It just does not unlock on the drivers side, this has gone off and on sometimes it works, most of the time though it does not at all.

View 5 RepliesFor some reason my drivers side floor mat/carpet keeps kicking itself loose of the two hooks there to keep it in line. Then it moves quickly forward to stuff itself under the pedals.
The dealer indicated he had not seen this problem and didn't really have a suggestion.
Recently my '02 drivers window quit going down. The motor and assembly will go down, but the window stays up.
I could lower the window carefully with my hands, and it would go back up like it should, but if I wanted to take it down again I would have to do it with my hands.
Now its at the point where the power assembly still works, but the window acts like its stuck if I try to take it down using my hands, and only goes about 1 inch then sticks. But it will go back to its 'home' position when I use the up button.
I thought this would be a minor inconvenience and I could tolerate it for awhile, but I never realised just how much I use that window.
So, what may have happened, and how to go about correcting it?
The leather driver's side armrest, the one that you're able to adjust for driver's right arm, is peeling. The leather looks to have a treatment on it and is peeling off like a bad sunburn. The leather underneath is dull looking and i need to have it recovered. My gx is blizzard pearl and the interior is caramel color or ecru. It just looks awful and i keep it folded up so I don't have to look at it but I am not being able to rest my arm.

This is the one with the rod mounted on the transmission the goes thru the transmission mount thats bolted to the car frame....I see 4 bolts holding the mount and one center bolt thru the rod to hold bushing in place. cant get the mount to clear the cars frame..
View 3 RepliesNoticed it when I was driving with the windows down today. It's a pretty noticeable ticking noise coming from the drivers side and gets faster as my speed increases. I inspected it and noticed nothing touching the wheels.
