Is it possible to leave the audio screen on all the times. Usually it is the map that is always on, and when I press the audio button, it reverts back to map after a few seconds.

View 2 RepliesEverytime, I get into my V I play my various podcast (via iPhone). However, its takes about a minute (as compared to my wife's RX which connects instantaneously). Why it takes such a long time? Bluetooth is always on and its be "paired".
Also, when I turn off audio, the screen simply shows blue screen with "audio off". Is there a way that I can always default to the map screen instead of going to apps --> maps --> show map? Not a biggie, but a nice to have for me.
Don't know how to change the default screen setting so that it stays in either radio or Media screen. It automatically reverts to map after pressing the radio or media button.

View 14 RepliesJust picked up my 2012 Model Five w/ ATP. Love it (more details to come), but it seems to require too much touch screen action that could better be accomplished through voice recognition. The nav screen always seems to jump back to map display after I've finished an audio transaction. Any way to just keep the audio screen in place until I select the map display? I don't like having to go back to audio to change stations. Also, the nav voice instructions are sometimes only useful for part of the trip. Is there any way to squelch the voice while driving without going into setup and using the touch screen? Answers are probably in the manual but I haven't found them so far.
View 15 RepliesFor the second-generation Prius : I was wondering if there is some way to make the screen stay on the mode that you are in and not switch back to consumption/ energy by itself all the time? For example you push audio to see the radio station info or the CD track info and it will stay in audio mode until you change it. Or if you want it to stay in climate mode and not Have it change back to energy/consumption after about five or 10 seconds.

On our old Prius, the display would simply change back to the map view after ~5-10 seconds. The new car does not seem to do this. No luck searching the manuals or the Internet. Is it possible?
Is there a way to change the default difference on the dynamic radar cruise control from 3 bars to 1 bar?
I think it's annoying to have to change it every time that I start the vehicle and activate cruise control.
I can change my nav system radio for just a radio? I am not smart enough to make the nav work and the light from the backup camera wipes out my night vision.

View 3 RepliesIs there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.
View 1 RepliesBeginning yesterday, my touch screen and radio work only part of the time. It started with the radio just going silent for a few seconds at a time. Today, and this seems odd, I can mostly make it fail by starting car with foot on brake. I can mostly make touch screen and radio work normally by starting it with with foot off the brake. I considered fuse, which is unlikely, but... According to manual, touch screen and audio are on same fuse as clock, and clock is working fine.

View 10 RepliesI have the Gen3 with auto dim mirror. The factory default is ON everytime the car starts. I prefer to keep it at Off by default because it is too dark for me during day time. I may be misreading the instructions Page 93 on the Owner's Manual and I can't get it to stay on Off by default.

I would like to have the map on one side and audio on the other as shown but after several trips through the manual, I am stumped as to how get it like this. I know the nav screen was changed on the 2014 and mine is a 2013 so that might be the problem.
View 13 RepliesI just got my 2016 ES300 and I noticed that every time I start the car, the default view goes straight to the navigation screen. Is there a way to change it to something else or to the last screen it was before I turn off the car?
I ask is because in my previous car (Avalon), if I was on the radio screen and I turn off the car and turn it back on again, the radio screen would come up.
I just got my 2015 LEXUS IS 350 F Sport yesterday and I have a few questions.
#1. When I turn the car on... it loads to the Map/Nav... How can I default it to the Home screen?
#2. Is the analog clock really the only clock? Can I get a digital clock on the home screen/console?
