My park assist doesn't go on. It only peeps two times when I push The assist button and nothing happens. Before it works normally.

View 1 RepliesI have 2010 prius III with JBL E7022 navigation. I dont know why i cant get the IPA system when i put the shift to "R" and the Auto Parking Assist pre support selection button right side the steering wheel is blank.
View 6 RepliesEverything was working fine until I started messing with camera settings in the service menu today . Now when I shift into reverse, it says "system not ready". Will not let me parallel park or reverse park now. I tried to reset the settings but maybe I don't know how to "save" settings.
View 5 RepliesA couple times in the last month or two, my park assist comes on for apparently no reason. I am stopped at a light, with no one in front of me, and it starts beeping rapidly as if someone were almost touching the front of the car. Last night I noticed it again, this time it was snowing somewhat.
View 8 RepliesI have a 2010 RX350 with IPA (Back up sensors) and I've recently come across a problem. There is no light on the dash indicating that the system is active. And when I go to the setup menu to want to scroll and activate to the option of enabling or disabling the system, the option is just not there. The only option is to activate snow mode.. What has happened? Where I should start troubleshooting?
View 2 RepliesSuddenly my 2010 RX350 no longer beeps when I get close to an obstacle. When going into the Park Assist control there are no longer any sensor symbols around the corners of the car. What is going on?
View 3 RepliesDriving in heavy rain on the interstate, my park assist warning started signaling. I assumed it was the heavy rain affecting the sensors. However, later on local roads, I kept getting intermittent warnings, with only light rain coming down. It seemed to happen most during deceleration, when water would slide down the hood toward the front bumper. I'm guessing it has something to do with the sensors on the front bumper, possibly getting water in them.
View 6 RepliesWas in chic fila line and all i heard was beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep and i was thinking...theres a pencil holder..a umbrella holder...but no way to mute it temporarily?!?!
View 9 RepliesIs there a dedicated button to quickly enable/disable this feature? 2014 model.
View 4 RepliesDoes the 2015 GX 460 beeps when you're really near an object? Mine only alerts me when there is a moving object. I checked the lexus park assist and it's on but no alert. It doesn't alert when I'm reversing or when I'm driving forward when I'm parallel parking.
View 5 RepliesI have a problem with the ipa on my Prius, it used to work fine and I admit I hardly ever used it, I tried to demonstrate it yesterday and when I press the button all I get is 2 quick beeps, nothing on the screen comes up.
View 1 RepliesI own a Elantra 2011 and I have a major problem. I cannot shift from PARK to DRIVE and my electric windows doesn't work either ! Everything else working fine and the car start normally !! The dealer cannot find the trouble and the car just have 19802 KM on it!!
View 3 RepliesAre there any hacks to the "safety" feature which disables Lane Keep Assist in cruise control mode when you don't touch (i.e. turn) the steering wheel for 5-15 sec? Now that is a mod I'd really like more than a NAV override. That thing disabling on me on long stretches of straight highway after 15 sec is absolutely annoying, especially since it does this EVEN WITH my hands on the wheel. To be honest, many times it suddenly disabling on me ended up being more of an overall safety risk than its purpose intended. Also, the thing disables enough on its own due to not being able to sense the lanes where any additional safety almost makes the LKA option useless. The Infinity I owned had a much better LKA lane sensing camera than this Prius. But it can at least be improved a little if we could disable that annoying safety. How it senses that the wheel has turned and try to trick it with a pulse every few secs? Only Prius 5's are installed with LKA.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius with Advanced Technology Package. I'd like to always have Lane Keep Assist on. Is there some sort of hidden setting so this comes on by default rather than having to set it every time I start the car?
Also, I don't like the dim feature of the rearview mirror. It comes on by default. Is there a way that it can be set so it is off by default? It is hard enough to see out the rearview sometimes, and the dimmer makes it more difficult for me at night. I don't like having to hit the switch every time I start the car at night.
Just letting Gen III drivers know that using an OBDII splitter and two gauges can sometimes cause a loss of regen braking and traction assist accompanied by various yellow lights on the dash. It can be restored by switching the vehicle off, unplug the OBDII splitter and restarting the car. This has happened to me on three seperate occasions.
View 8 RepliesI see where I can shut it off on navigation screen, but buzzing sound still goes off and picture lights up on speedometer on dash.
Since snow started falling this week when I drive the park assist just randomly goes off its annoying having buzzing sound just go off not shut off.
So the other day I was rotating my tires in my driveway, Once I was finished I took it for a test drive and about 2 minutes into the drive the traction control light (yellow light upper left hand corner) came on and has been on ever since. I haven't noticed anything else different while driving except the light remains on and that the "hill start assist" isn't working so I assume the traction control isn't working. I have tried pulling a code with a scan gauge but no codes where present and I also tried to reseting the battery by unplugging the ground cable for 10 minutes but no luck.
View 19 RepliesI have just bought a 2001 Prius with 127,550 miles. Hybrid battery has been replaced with a used one and all systems seem to work fine except the shift lever in the "Park" position does not lock the transmission. No big problem as long as the Parking Brake works. Preliminary investigation does not reveal any easy fix.
View 6 RepliesOK, each day my new T-Reg has a surprise. Today it was that the Park Assist showed just the red lights when in reverse. I know from the manual that this indicates a fault with the system.
I'm taking the car back to the dealer to have it diagnosed.... what should I expect? Is it as easy as hook up a computer and it says that sensor X is faulty??
Actually, the park assist seems to work when in 'D' so I assume that it's something on the back set that is faulty. The car is clean and only four days old from the dealer. I've checked the sensor exteriors and can't see anything covering them. Anything else I should check?
My girlfriend has an 07 1500 new body style LTZ. It has the rear park assist and was working just fine before. Now when you put it in reverse the system makes the single beep. Then as you back up the lights in the back window on the passenger side all seem to work. The only problem is it doesn't beep anymore. As you get closer the beeps get more should get more and more frequent the closer you get to something. I tried turning it on and off, but no luck.
View 6 RepliesI can't figure out how park assist works... When I put it in reverse, I hear a tone and the button flashes (this is an '06 Passat BTW). I tried it with my dad standing behind the car and it didn't signal to me that an object was there (I eventually hit my dad - don't worry, he's okay).
I've also tried pressing the park assist button on approach to my parking spot at my apartment, I have my motorcycle parked in the front of the spot sideways, so I pull in right up to the bike (head first), and again, no beeping or anything even though the park-assist button is blinking and it gave me the audible ok). Am I doing something wrong?
