About two weeks ago I saw some moisture under the odometer screen. . I went to the dealer, the dealer said it is chemicals and will not be under toyota's warranty. what ever it is , I think it should be under warranty since it is under two layers of glasses, if it is not toyota's fault, how can it get there.

View 7 RepliesI have a 2013 III with 8k on the clock and discovered a few hours after washing it there was moisture in both of the tail light assemblies. It evaporated several hours later, which made me wonder if the assemblies were vented instead of sealed. Do they are sealed or vented?
View 4 RepliesI've had an issues with the drivers side light fogging up after damp nights or rain. The dealer replaced it under a TSB but it is still happening I've checked the 3 seals (low beam, high beam, small light on top) and replaced the high beam just to make sure. I'm about to replace the HID in hopes that moisture is getting in through it but for some reason I don't think so. The passenger side is fine and Yaris parked right next to it is fine also so I don't think this is "regular"condensation.
View 1 RepliesThere is moisture or dirt blocking the part of my settings display on my dashboard. I can't see the "Trip A/ Miles left before empty" area. Dealer said it was glue inside the dashboard. They ordered a new plastic window. I think it looks like moisture buildup... How would glue have gotten up there? I am fearful that the area will spread and I will not be able to see more of this area.... Car is a 2010 Model 3 with 12,000 miles.. 10 months old...

I can't figure out how to make the screen brighten and dim when it's day/night. And my "default/home" screen is the navigation screen. I've managed to get it to split with my audio screen but I'd love my main screen to JUST be my audio screen and only view the navigation screen when I'm utilizing the navigation.
Is it possible to leave the audio screen on all the times. Usually it is the map that is always on, and when I press the audio button, it reverts back to map after a few seconds.

View 3 RepliesWent to a meeting one evening last week with my 2010 Prius, everything working well. After the meeting we drove away and noticed that most of the dash display was "dark". Driving home and feeling a little gloom as I wondered what it might cost to fix the display problem.
I noticed the poster announcing the meeting we attended was laying on the dash and was pushed up to the display screen. I pulled the poster back an inch and the display came back on !! Pushed it forward and when it got within 1/2 inch of the display, it would blank out ??
It appears the dash display is some sort of bottom projection system to the display screen. Pushing anything up to the display screen blocks that bottom projection and blanks the screen.

I never touch the screen and I always take the car to the local car wash for cleaning. Is there any way to remove them or is this something I'll have to live with?

I miss having a backup camera and premium audio but at $17000 I don't want to pay any more. Right now I just have a simple question... how do I show the energy monitor on the dash (top screen)? I even downloaded the manual but when I press the Display button on the steering wheel the only thing I can get to is "SETTINGS 3.11.16". I went into settings but didn't find anything that stood out... so I'm lost already...
