View 5 RepliesI have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I have it paired with the Prius V. This never fails, my calls get dropped after about a minute or a little more. I have to redial, then it happens again. Why?
View 8 RepliesWe have a 2014 standard Prius (5-door). Haven't had it for a year yet. Just recently this problem has developed with the Prius. My wife drives the car mostly. She can make and connect a hands free call, but then she can't hear the other end and they don't hear her. When looking at the iPhone (iPhone 6), we can see the call is connected. Just can't talk to other end.
View 1 RepliesI paired my iPhone 6S with my 2010 RX350, and the phone shows it is paired, but sound never comes out of the car speakers, only the phone. My iPhone 6 occasionally had the same issue.
View 4 RepliesIve got an iphone 3g and a Prius with the Sat Nav, i saw a clip on you tube about a year ago with some guy playing music from his iphone via Bluetooth. Ive tried to do this and it doesn't, the phone is BT synced with the car for the handsfree phone but in the audio tab one called "BT" is grayed out im assuming thats the one i need its next to the "Aux" tab. I don't know if they guy was using some third party software or something
View 6 RepliesThe dealer had my bluetooth set up for me but since day one theres been a buzzing noise when talking through it. Other people on here have experienced it as well. Someone on here said the cancelled theirs out and then reconnected their phone and the buzzing disappeared. I managed to disconnect mine but even following the owners manual, I can't get mine reconnected. It keeps saying no device found.
View 1 RepliesI have a '10 with NAV. iphone 5S. Bluetooth enabled on phone and syncs to car. Phone calls work great.
On the Radio function, there is a BT (among others) tab, however mine is greyed out. AUX tab lights up with the cable plugged into the port in the black hole and my phones headphone port. Whether this cable is plugged in or not, the BT tab is never accessible. My wife has a '13 Venza with NAV same iPhone and she can play music through her phone wireless, selecting the BT tab.
I have a 2010 RX350. Using my iPhone 5 with the bluetooth in the car is a little hit and miss/sluggish. When hitting the button for Siri, the car seems to struggle with the process.
I am curious if the firmware for the car is current... and if not, does a more current firmware update the bluetooth for better functionality. I haven't had it updated for almost 2 years. I do have navigation.
I have an iPhone 4S that connects to the car fine. The problem is that it randomly drops bluetooth during a call. It does repair after random periods of time. My only guess is the phone because the iPhone 4 I just traded in never had this issue. I have tried deleting the pairing from both the car and phone without any luck.
View 14 RepliesI get my iPhone 5 paired with my car for calls and music but not for messages. Is there a trick to doing that?
View 1 RepliesI recently purchased a Prius 3 - Solar Roof package -In the navi manual page 154, "Bluetooth Phone Message Function" - this feature does not show up in my car. I have the iphone4s, I am missing the feature with the phone synced and not synched.
View 2 RepliesI'm trying to figure out if I'm dealing with an isolated situation...my iPhone 4's BT music streaming tends to have a slow-down effect whenever I start using the phone. It doesn't have to be a million apps running in the background for it to slow down (as if someone just turned off the turntable while the LP was playing), it could be caused by a simple accessing of the phone main screen... My prior car (Acura TL-Type S '07) worked flawlessly with my iPhone 3GS, so not sure if it's the iPhone 4 or my Prius V...
View 1 RepliesJust got a Verizon iPhone4 (finally) and am having bluetooth pairing issues with my '06 Prius (non-Nav). The behavior is not quite what I've seen described on other threads, so I don't know what try here. Note that my old junkie dumbphone worked reliably with the Prius over Bluetooth.
View 8 RepliesI have a Prius two 2012, have been using an old iPod for music over USB, and a blackberry over bluetooth handsfree profile. blackberry phones allow you to manage which BT profiles are connected, I disabled the music over BT profile. but now I just got an iPhone 5s to replace both phone and ipod, it automatically pairs with all profiles supported by the car, no disable or selection per profile. I want to play music over USB, not BT, the quality is better.
But the iPhone doesn't support both, if BT music is enabled, then that is where it goes. i have not found a way to disable the BT music. I confirmed with Apple tech support, they say the car side decides what services to pair with the phone, the iPhone just slavishly does what it is told with no user control options. Looking then at option control on the radio side, i have looked at the radio BT setups, there is no option i can find to select which profiles to automatically connect. How to configure the BT settings so the iPhone is registered only for handsfree and not BT music? Pls note that have only the basic display audio...
Bluetooth connection with iPhone 4 iOS7 failed?
View 3 RepliesI recently purchased a 2014 Wolfsburg and love it!!! My question comes in when listening to music on my Bluetooth after a time I get a loud beep from the radio??? How do I fix it why is it happening...
View 2 RepliesBrowse button is greyed out when an iPhone 4S (iOS 5) is connected using Bluetooth. Browse button is not greyed out when connected with iPod cable.
View 19 RepliesI switched from an Android phone to a iPhone 4 and after the switch I noticed that sometimes the bluetooth A2DP audio goes out in the middle of playing. The bluetooth does not drop connection or lose pairing, but there just no sound.
I can tap the "play" icon on the Nav touch screen and the sound comes back for a minute or so and goes out again repeatedly. If I don't do anything and just wait, after a minute or two the sound spontaneously returns and usually keeps going.
At first I though it was a problem with the podcast app I was using, but then I noticed the exact same behavior with playing music with the built-in native iPod app.
2013 Prius. Audio worked fine yesterday but on my way to work this morning the car would not play audio from my iPhone 6s. The Bluetooth is connected fine and calling still works but when I play music the screen shows that the music is playing but I get no sound from my speakers. I've tried resetting my phone and turned the car off and on to no avail.
View 1 RepliesSo I recently purchased a base 2008 Prius. The previous owner said she replaced the stereo so she can use her ipod. I see there is a Aux jack underneath the Radio with a power button. But when I press mode on steering wheel or press CD/Aux on the unit, it only goes to the CD, not Aux. I think its Toyota 51824 system. How can I use Aux since I want to use my iphone for music.
View 3 RepliesMy wife usually has her iPhone with Bluetooth turned on. If I am driving and she gets a call, the radio is muted while she is talking on the phone. Even if she switches the audio source to iPhone and not the speaker, it takes away my music! I guess there is no way around this?
