Just took delivery of a 2011. Is there any way to increase the DAYTIME dashboard display brightness?

Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Display Audio Brightness Fading In And Out
I have the Non-Nav with just Display Audio. I have noticed that the display tends to fade in & out. Even at night when the lights are on- I keep the dash on the bright side- the DA/radio info fades. It's still legible but wondering is there a way to fix this? I couldn't find anything in the manual about adjusting the brightness.

There is moisture or dirt blocking the part of my settings display on my dashboard. I can't see the "Trip A/ Miles left before empty" area. Dealer said it was glue inside the dashboard. They ordered a new plastic window. I think it looks like moisture buildup... How would glue have gotten up there? I am fearful that the area will spread and I will not be able to see more of this area.... Car is a 2010 Model 3 with 12,000 miles.. 10 months old...

Any way to increase the brightness of the outside temperature display? During the day, when the sun is shinning, it's impossible to read....even if I take my sunglasses off.
It's almost distracting as texting having to stare at the display trying to read the numbers.
The drivers side set temperature display (heat/a-c) is super bright but yet the rest is very difficult to see.
I have 20/20 vision.
I tried the dash brightness adjustment (odometer reset) but that has no effect.

Is there anyway to adjust the brightness of the dashboard (speedometer, tachometer, etc) display when the headlights are not on??? Sometimes if its just cloudy outside and there's no reason to have the headlights turned on, the display is nearly impossible to see. The numbers are not illuminated, only the needles. It is only until after you turn the lights on that you can see the numbers. Is there anyway to have the numbers illuminated without the headlights on???

On our 2012 Sonata all stock, the radio display screen is far dimmer than the rest of the lighting. When putting the lighting at a safe level for night time driving (ie not blinding), the display screen is far too dim. In order to see it, the dash lights need to be almost all up.
Any way to adjust? BTW, the radio knobs and preset lights are fine. It is only the diplay screen. This is NOT an issue on our 2012 Tucson. That one works perfectly. I flipped through all the obvious controls and found nothing
Prius V :: Dashboard Display Comes On And Off
I just bought a Prius v. When I am driving the Prius v on highway, the dashboard display disappear without speed and all the dashboard indicators. It was pretty scary. Brought it to Toyota dealer and they said they cannot replicate the problem. The dashboard display come on and off. Sometimes when I drove through a tunnel, it seems to trigger it. It also happen on bright daylight driving too.

Aside from spending $ to have the polarity reversed on the HVAC display, is there anything be done to darken the display letters and numerals? In the daylight this thing is unreadable. Very poor design by Toyota. Any little tricks that I don't know about?

For over 3 years, my 2001 Honda Odyssey transmission has had a whine, gradually increasing in volume. The pitch increases with speed, not RPMs because it continues to increase pitch when it shifts and reduces RPMs. There are no performance issues, and there are no error codes when hooked to the computer. The transmission was put in at 93,000, 80,000 miles ago. Had fluid flushed and replaced with no effect.

Any technical difference between turning the ECO diplay "on" or "off" when setting display options? I know when "off", the ECO sign does not show but does it also mean the car runs differently? Is this just a way to avoid having that thing show up?

Have had my 2002 for one year now, with 96k miles. Occasionally I get the red triangle but after 5 restarts it quits showing.
But now I have a different problem: in the mornings the car is dead, I turn the key all the way but not even the display comes on. But, if I turn the key all the way to where it says "start" and hold it there, energy slowly starts to flow and after about 2 minutes I get a lighted-up display and the car gets back to normal.
Seems like the 12-volt depletes overnight and when I hold the key in "start" the main battery charges the aux. I'm afraid suddenly this won't work and I'll get stranded anytime.
Volvo :: Message Center On Dashboard Won't Display Anything
I have had an S60 since 2001, 2.0 petrol first and then a 2003 D5.
I am having problems with my message center and my indicator. The message center won't display anything. It just a mass of jumbled letter moving about. The indicator lights and sound won't work on the dashboard although they are working fine outside.
The dealer say that a new dashboard is needed, which is very expensive. Any fix to this? a reboot maybe?
Prius (Gen 2) :: ICE Stops After Increasing To 34 MPH
I have different problem about my prius 2008 Gen II. Recently I have done some maintenance work for my prius from Toyota dealer..they replaced air filter, four ignition plugs and done engine tune-up. After all they execute EDS(Engine Diagnostic Scan) and told me that vehicle is 100% normal even HV battery.
The problem started when I drive after this service. Before the service my car engine normally will stop when soc>60% in low speeds <55 km h (34 mph) (and also when use break) and it is normal as previous it happens. But when it reach beyond 34mph and releasing or controlling accelerator It can glide until SOC<50%. Then ICE will start up and it will never stop even mild slope or when braking. (Previously this is not happen when I using break or drive in mild slopes engine going to stop)
Again if I increase my speed beyond 34mph and when it release the accelerator ICE going to stop. Previously it is no sense for the speed and when I using break even computer shows ICE is used for charging battery it is going to stop.
If I drive my entire trip< 34mph it behaves like normal as previous, but once it go beyond 34mph it is going to some odd mode that I described as above.
Prius (2010-12) :: Can't Turn Off Display During Daytime
I can use the wheel to dim during the daytime but can only dim can't turn off the display like I can at night. I've tried turning the lights on and adjusting the wheel but still can turn off all the way.
I would like to turn it off and just use the HUD.
