Prius (2004-09) :: 2007 - Slip Indicator Came On / Engine Revving A Lot

I am afraid to drive my car on the highway and if I am damaging my car by driving it I want to make sure I hold the auto care shop that put the wrong size tire on my car responsible.
I have Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 BL tires size 185/65R15 on my 2007 Prius that I got in 2010. Because of a nail in one tire I had to replace one of the tires two days ago. The technician said they did not have the exact same tire any more but he would replace it with something comparable.
The next day I drove 2 hours on the interstate and the slip indicator light kept flashing, it felt like the engine was revving a lot and/or the transmission wouldn't shift when I got to highway speeds, and it was a little scary. My first thought was something with the new tire since I had absolutely no problems before.

My Prius touring had 4 205/55/16 tires. I had the mechanic change the front two tires to 205/50/16 and now, whenever I drive over 60mph, the slip indicator light flashes continuously. When I slow down, it goes away.
Is it because the front and rear tires are mismatched? If so, I'll have the mechanic change the rear to 205/50/16 as well.

My Lexus was working fine till yesterday, but today when I started (button press) it, it started giving me a Check VSC error and Check engine light along with Slip Indicator started showing up
Took it to Autozone for the codes and got

2010 ES350... Was detailing interior of car, and didn't realize headlights were on. Eventually, battery drained and car would not start. Had OEM, original battery installed at the time. No dashboard lights lit prior to this.
From what I recall, shortly after replacing the battery and getting vehicle started, my slip indicator was solidly lit on dashboard. No other lights are illuminated, and vehicle appears to behave the same.
Fast forward to today, my OBD II scanner (Innova) does not pick up any current DTC's. There are readiness codes stored, but I understand that these are merely emmission related. However, there are historical codes stored which I am concerned may be possibly contributing to the dashboard light. The codes are P1604 and B2799. These appear to be related to the immobilizer system on my ES. I've tried to clear these codes, but they won't go away, so I suspect something is still tripping this. Keys are fine, just changed the FOB battery out a couple of times. I may try my second set of keys to see if it fixes this mess.
Since my OBD scanner doesn't support ABS, I'd like to see if AutoZone or something of the like can detect if there are any codes being thrown by the ABS system. Not sure if this is what is tripping the SLIP light.

My car, a 2014 Prius TWO, was towed and recovered, but now the slip indicator light is always on (also the steering wheel is way out of alignment). Driving home, the car felt perfectly fine, except for the steering wheel being at a weird angle. What's going on? Can I get this fixed at a mechanic when they fix the wheel alignment, or do I have to take this in to a dealership?

I have been very happy with Prius 2012 I got in February. But I have started noticing that the slip indicator light turns on briefly when I start the car. Is it something I need to worry about? It does go off in a second or two.

Anyways, I was driving to school today. Going about 45mph on on off ramp that curves slightly when my Slip indicator light turned on and blinked maybe 10 times or so. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow as the manual suggest. My car only has 7,500 miles.

This morning I was cruising down the highway with cruise control set at 63 mph. All of a sudden the car slowed down and the "Slip Indicator" was displayed and the cruise control was now off.

I had the 2010 Camry I-4 in the dealer last week for the 40K service. They told me I needed fuel injector cleaning and a throttle body housing cleaning which I had done. This afternoon the check engine light came on and at the same time the Slip Indicator light came on.
I ran by Auto-Zone to have them pull the code for the check engine light and it was P0101 which AZ says is Mass or Volume Airflow circuit range and listed probable causes as:Open or short circuit condition, MAF/VAF sensor failure, or Faulty ECM. I called the dealer for an appointment Thursday morning and told him the story and asked if the throttle body or injector cleaning could cause the mass air flow problem. He said "probably not". He also told me that when the Check Engine light comes on the Slip indicator light automatically comes on to show that the VSC is not working while the check engine light is on.
My question is, could the cleaning cause the P0101 and if so what info do I need to argue the case with the dealer? Or, are they unrelated systems?

So I noticed this has happened a few times.. If I press on the brake pedal too hard, the indicator light will come on and then turn off a few moments after I depress the brake pedal. This has happened when the car is stationary as well as when I was coming to a stop, it's happened maybe 5 times since I picked the car up a few weeks ago. Is this normal behavior or an indication of a problem? Just an FYI, I'm not talking about when the indicators light up when first starting the car.. This is tied strictly to pressing the brake pedal hard.

2010 Prius V owner as of last week. All has been going well and got into the car this morning and all of the above noted lights are on at start-up and stay on as I drive. Have made appointment with the dealer but they cannot get me in until late next week. I did make a short drive this morning and all seemed fine with handling and braking. Searched a few threads here and answers are very varied and none that I saw had all of above lights on. I don't think that it is the Hill Start Assist. Safe to drive until we can get into the dealership?

This morning, I found out that my Camry 2012's backup light did not turn on. When I changed the tranmission shift, there no any letters like D, P, or R appear on the meter panel. Moreover, on the panel, the check engine and slip indicator icon lights turned on. How to fix this problem. I already installed the aftermarket backup camera, and it doesn't work also

I just have my 2013 Prius C3 for two months and few days back I noticed that the Slip Indicator light blink a few time when I went through pot hole/uneven road (low speed, ~20mph). In the same time, I can hear as if there is a piece of metal sheet somewhere in the car vibrated. Is this normal?

Few weeks ago I bought my first Lexus, an '07 GX 470. It has roughly 75,000 miles on it, 2 previous owners before me. Anyway, I hear a noise sometimes which either sounds like a slight belt slip or fuel being pumped into the injectors when I give it a good amount of gas and the engine downshifts to accelerate. I had the dealer replace the drive belt(serpentine belt) because of 2 reasons, it needed to be replaced and I thought that could be the problem(I did not have to pay for it since I have had some problems with the Lexus dealership I bought it from, they did it as a "goodwill" gesture, that's a story for another thread) and inspect the tensioner and pulleys, they said the pulleys and tensioner were in good working order.
I drove the GX home tonight after said replacement, and I still noticed the same noise. The best I can describe it is like I said above, a slight belt slipping noise or it could also be described I guess as fuel being injected under acceleration as soon as the trans downshifts to accelerate. I am just curious if this is normal for this engine or do I have a possible problem? It's covered under the Lexus used car warranty for another 5 months so if there is something wrong, obviously I would like it fixed under warranty if something is wrong. One thing I should probably mention is, the noise is semi quiet and I guess the average person might not even notice it.

Our 2005 Prius with 160,000 miles is displaying warning lights and the gasoline engine is reving at times and not shutting off when the car is at a stop light.
The dealer says it is throwing a P3000 and P0A80 codes. I asked for subcodes, the dealer doesn't know what I am talking about.
The dealer wants to replace the hybrid computer for $900 and if that doesn't fix it they want to replace the hybrid battery for $3500.

My 2011 Camry LE 4-cyl has 48k miles. Today I was driving on the highway during very heavy rain. My vehicle slip indicator light came on, along with my check engine light. I stopped at Advanced Auto for a diagnostic check. They said they couldn't be sure if it was a sensor, or maybe a wiring issue.

I have a 2008 Prius with 106,000+ miles on it. It was running fine till 2 days ago, I didn't start it yesterday and today when i went to start it, I get the Hybrid System Malfunction light, along with check engine, the red triangle and TPMS light. The gas engine tries to start up, then 1 second later makes a grinding noise and turns off.
I am in Toronto and its cold, but not THAT cold yet. So I am doubtful its temperature related. I checked the fluids and they all seem to be sufficient (engine oil, radiator fluid, power steering fluid). I didn't notice any leaks under the vehicle either.
