I'm having trouble with the seat adjustment (12-way) on the drivers seat of my 2005 V6. Basically the front vertical adjustment of the drivers seat doesn't move upwards - maybe a cm at most. The back of the seat moves up and down fully, but the front doesn't, so it feels like the seat is tipped forward... When I try to adjust the front upwards I get loads of whirring and clicking, but no movement.
View 1 RepliesI have read other people having problems with their power seats. Mine is kind of weird, the right side moves, the left doesn't. So when I try to move forward, it moves forward and pivots to toward the left, since only the right side is moving forward on the rail. There is only one motor moving the seat forward and backward right? I am hoping it's just an obstruction on the left railing or something....unless there are two motors moving the seat forward. The lumbar motors are fine, I can move up and down, it's just the seat itself that can't slide forward and backward.

View 3 RepliesI have been using it a lot over the last 2 years since I bought my 2005 3.0 TDi. Love the car, have had a few issues but nothing major. I do now have an issue with the seat belt height adjustment in the passenger side. It will go down, but not up....slightly annoying as you can imagine. When I press the button to raise the belt, nothing happens. Seat are 18 ways ventilated massage seats.
View 3 RepliesI am trying to adjust the vertical (up) AFS headlight aim on my 2010 RX 350. They currently point too low and do not illuminate the roads well enough at night. Note that the vehicle has the AFS HID headlights that are located next to the front grill.

I found adjustment bolt A elsewhere. Adjustment bolt B was found as illustrated.
Following these instructions on p. 512, I have tried adjusting the two silver bolts for the left and right AFS headlights by manually turning each pair of bolts on both sides with my fingers rather than a Phillips screwdriver, but no effort appears to affect the AFS headlight aim either vertically or horizontally.
The instructions also recommend taking the vehicle into the dealer if the headlights cannot be adjusted this way.
My headlight aim is all out of whack, the driver side light is aiming all the way to the passenger side. I searched the forums and know where the screws are for the vertical and horizontal adjustments. Counter clockwise for making the headlights go up and you're suppose to go the same direction on the horizontal adjustment as well. But my driver side headlight is aiming so far towards the passenger side already,I need to get the horizontal adjustment back to the left, which direction to turn? Clockwise or Counter?

Is it possible to VAG the Tig seats to be able to automatically move back when I open the driver side door so there's more leg room to get out and also move back to last driver seat settling once you start the car? I know that feature is standard in some luxury cars like Mercedes.

View 4 RepliesI have a 2011 Phaeton with manually adjustable headrests on the front seats, haven't checked the rears, the drivers headrest stuck in the up position after moving it to clean underneath, pushed the button to lower the headrest with no luck and noticed the button was loose and not seated properly so I pulled it all the way out long piece of plastic with a small plastic pin on the end, put it back in a it bends the pin to the side, so decided to check out the passenger side it has a shorter piece of plastic with the same piece of plastic on the end and you guessed it that won't go back in either.
View 1 RepliesI get a little bit of wind noise from the drivers door. Upon inspection, I noticed that the drivers door sticks out a little bit more than the passenger door when it is closed. In other words, the passenger door window from is flush with the adjacent trim but the drivers window from is maybe 1.5 mm out. I suspect this may be just enough to cause the slight wind noise.

We realized that she has to be careful because the driver seat headrest will push against the headliner. I think the adjustment range could have been better planned. Our last car would not allow this to happen.
View 3 RepliesI have this 2005 Camry since 2010 and never had any issue. Yesterday, I used wiper and the driver side moved slightly. The passenger side wiper blade went over it. So I checked and the driver side arm doesn't move at all but the passenger side is working fine. Winter is coming here and it'll be terrible without working wipers. Is it something I can tinker on?
View 9 RepliesI drive with the seat slider in the full back position. I'd like to gain another inch or so....just enough to where I'm not touching the rear seat. Not worried about rear passengers. How easy would it be to either reposition the seat anchor points or modify the seat itself to do this? Also, has anyone tilted the front of the seat up a little to give more thigh support? I was also thinking of shimming or otherwise raising the front half of the seat maybe 1/2 inch to give my legs a little more support.

My Driver Seat Does not move Forward any more. It will go back, up & Down Just not Forward.
Is there a Seat Reset Switch somewhere I don't know about ? How do I troubleshoot this?
My wife's power drivers seat will only move forward not back. Fuses all look good and the passenger seat operates fine. If this continues and she hits the button again she will need to be shorter than the 5' she is already. No chance at this point I can fit in the car.
