Phaeton :: Solid Red Light On Locking

I noticed a couple of days ago that when I lock my Phaeton the flashing red light on the inside of the door turns solid red for a few seconds. The usual pattern is that it flashes a few times (a couple of seconds worth) when you press the lock button on the remote and then turns solid red for twenty or thirty seconds before going on to it's usual flashing to indicate that the doors are locked/alarm is set.
Is this normal or does it indicate a fault with the alarm or immobilizer? I can't recall it doing this until Friday (two days ago) but perhaps I've just missed it.

Today I got back to to the Phaeton in a multistory car park and the red lights on the front doors were on solid rather than the normal flashing and what appeared brighter than normal. There was no evidence of anybody touching the car. It went away when the car was started and locked again.

Today the solid engine symbol showed up inside my tachometer (no workshop message in the instrument panel display). The owners manual says this is an exhaust system problem. What do you make of the following scan:

I have had this 2004 Phaeton since 2006. No problems and only 72k miles. Over the last month I have had three occasions where upon start the gear display [PRNDS] in the center display of the dash board lights up solid orange (unlike the orange boarder with clear inside). The car shifts into reverse and into drive but seems to stay stuck in 2nd gear.
This is now happening about 50% of the time I start the car. When the display is normal the car and transmission appear fine.

So driving the Phaeton on a road trip today. I believe it did not lock on to any satellites and then the compass pointed the wrong direction for a while, leaving me in the middle of the ocean (I was on the coast of California).
My problem now is that after restarting the car multiple times I am still way out in the middle of the ocean. Is there any way to clear the cached GPS location data, or otherwise reset the navigation system? The reset function did nothing.
Edit: This actually happens rather often however typically fixes itself pretty quickly. Unfortunately I don't think it will recover this time in the same fashion, as recovery is typically very gradual and I am apparently about 150 miles out to sea at the moment.

My Phaeton has been worry-free for about a year, but recently the door locks have begun locking on their own. The red alarm light even comes on.

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE, and the seat belt light keeps on flashing and the airbag light is solid. We have tried literally everything possible, tried replacing the seat, replaced the seats sensors, tried a airbag module out of another 07 camry with exact same part #. Toyota have diagnosed that all the systems for airbag is fine, except it has something to do with the seat belt of the drivers side/or module but all that's been checked and still no luck. My car is due for Safety inspecting coming month and need this to fixed. How to handle this. Btw light came on because we had a blown fuse for the drivers power seat, and my mechanic thought that it was the motor so we replaced the seat and noticed that it wasn't the motor. Was just the fuse and we put back the original seat and everything is functional except the lights came on. No accidents on it to the extent i know. and the wiring is all plugged back properly without anything like wiring damage.

I have a 2007 L.L. Bean Edition Forester. The cruise light is flashing and check engine light is solid. I am well into my retirement age and nearest dealer is about 2 hours away. Is this something that local mechanic can fix? He is very good, but not Subaru schooled. I'm afraid to drive it now.

Since i have owned my car the brake and ABS lights have been on (bought it like 2 months ago) i have a solid ABS light, and as long as the ebrake is down the brake light blinks.
Through searching I found that i most likely have a bad abs module. Before I take it out and send it to get repaired, i was wondering if there is anything else that i could check.
I also used VAGCOM to try and talk to the brakes and there is no response from the controller.

Yesterday I found that I could't lock the Phaeton by pressing the button on the outside door handles .
I could only lock/unlock from the key fob . Is there something I can do to resolve this short of going to a service dept ??

My intrigue security light has come on and its solid... Some say I can't drive it any longer because it will stop on me and the fuel won't come thru" !!
1) Is it my (BCM) I have never had this light to come on so this is new to me..

The light came on the dash, it blinks at first, then becomes solid. Checked all the air pressure, tires are all fine. Tried resetting with the button, doesn't fix it - blinks then goes solid.

2 days ago i drove to a store, went in and came back out, started the car up and the EPS light was on. It would switch from either blinking or solid on. The steering still to this point works just fine, and i can not feel any difference in it.
The next day while i was waiting for a ride to get the car dropped at the garage, i went to start the car up and it was drained. Lights still came on but it didnt have enough to turn over. Upon a jump it worked fine, and would continue to run ok. It would restart after that quite a few times, even with full electric load on before starting(ac/radio/all lights/so on). Battery tested at 30% charge and 12v output, couldnt check amps at auto zone because of low charge. Since its factory battery from a 2010 model i just went and replaced it anways.
Since that point i have had both battery and alternator tested, both working fully. The EPS light remains on, and the car still acts 100% normal after 2 days of light driving.
Is it possible the dying battery could have some how messed with the EPS system causing that, and only that, light to turn on? If so, short of having the codes reset at the garage, would it be safe to continue light driving, or should i take it in right away?

It's the same every time. forty minutes into a drive and the TPMS light starts blinking. It blinks for about three minutes and then goes solid. After two minutes or so the light goes off completely. Every time I check, my tire pressure is perfect. I carry a good analog gauge with me and monitor pressure obsessively.

When I go to start my car it has a solid red light around park, as it should, but it has a flashing green light around drive also. When this happens my car will not start. I usually try it a few times, wait and try and try again until it finally starts up. Once it starts the drives light is still blinking so I turn the car off and back on, then it is good to go. This does not happen every time, it seem sporadic. The engine, battery and oil light stay on, but I think it may only be because the car is starting up, usually the lights come on when starting then go off once the car is ready. Btw it is a 1993 Honda Accord.

This year has been a bad one for my little echo. We recently had the overflow valve of the fuel tank fixed in order to get registered. Then the a/c fixed, and then the belts and transmission fluid changed, but then it was making very funky sound when I'd brake. Getting the tires rotated/balanced seems to have worked for that.
And now this. We were on a very long and hot road trip. When I stopped for gas the oil light flickered. I put in some oil and it stopped. Got back on the freeway and right away the oil light came on solid. Pulled over and got towed home because luckily we were close enough by that time.
Our mechanic thought it was the oil sensor. He replaced it and thought it was fine. Then he noticed a funky sound, so he put it back up and put a physical gauge in there and found that it is only 9-15 psi when at idle. He's not sure what is happening. The oil pressure light is not coming on. Seems okay on the freeway. When at idle it shakes/knocks a lot, especially if the a/c is on, but the oil light is still not coming on.
He has switched to 10w40 oil, but isn't sure of what's causing this.

Ok, got a 99 Buick Century that is a cantankerous old hag. It doesn't like to start sometimes. naturally when i really need to get somewhere. The security light blinks at me for a while, goes solid, then i cycle the ignition and hope it will start. It happens with multiple keys and remote start(which has been removed multiple times because each mechanic thinks that will magically fix it). No rhyme or reason, it sends no code, the local buick dealership couldn't figure it out. I think its my security computer. what is the easiest/cheapest diy solution besides get full coverage and leave it in the ghetto with the keys and hope it ends up on cops? battery is fine, it starts normally most of the month, just maybe a handful of times a month it won't. Starter I believe is still good as well, and gets voltage when it starts. Fuel pump audibly works all the time.

Using the Ford IDS ? My VCM 1 will not communicate with the PCM. The #3 light on the VCM stays solid red. I am running IDS 75.00. I don't have another truck to try it on. Bad cable from obdp to the VCM ?
