I have been using it a lot over the last 2 years since I bought my 2005 3.0 TDi. Love the car, have had a few issues but nothing major. I do now have an issue with the seat belt height adjustment in the passenger side. It will go down, but not up....slightly annoying as you can imagine. When I press the button to raise the belt, nothing happens. Seat are 18 ways ventilated massage seats.
View 3 RepliesThe owner's manual for my 2010 Camaro states that the passenger seat height can be adjusted by pumping the handle used to slide the seat forward and backward. However, pumping the handle does not change the seat height.

View 3 RepliesHow to set the passenger side view mirror memory adjustment? I am unclear on a couple of things:
1) With the transmission in any position other than reverse, adjust the passenger side mirror as you like it.
2) Put the car in reverse, and adjust the same mirror to show you what you want to look at when you have the transmission in reverse.
3) Now press the appropriate seat memory buttons, to store that configuration as your 'driver preference', and the car will remember both settings.
Does #3 mean that you turn off the car leaving it in reverse? Leave it running - in reverse? And then you press "Set" and then the seat number button - and then "Set" again?
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to adjust the shoulder height of the seatbelt on my 06 Treg . The drawings in the owners manual don't look anything like the real thing.

Does one have to cut the fabric? I removed the head rest and the top portion where the belt rides but can't locate the retractible part.

It feels like an exhaust vibration transferred through the floor connection of the seat belt. How can I get rid of it ? The vibration feels like a cell phone set on vibrating and is very annoying for the passenger.

View 3 RepliesI'm having trouble with the seat adjustment (12-way) on the drivers seat of my 2005 V6. Basically the front vertical adjustment of the drivers seat doesn't move upwards - maybe a cm at most. The back of the seat moves up and down fully, but the front doesn't, so it feels like the seat is tipped forward... When I try to adjust the front upwards I get loads of whirring and clicking, but no movement.

View 1 RepliesSo I can successfully set the height at which the tailgate should stop, and in fact, the "power" function seems to stop there. But once the motors stop doing their thing, it just keeps slowly creeping up, as though the gas pressure in the struts is too strong for the tailgate weight. It's brand new, so this wouldn't be surprising. But is that the way it's supposed to work? If so, what's the point of setting a height at all? In my case, I want it top stop just a couple inches before hitting my garage door.

Is it possible to VAG the Tig seats to be able to automatically move back when I open the driver side door so there's more leg room to get out and also move back to last driver seat settling once you start the car? I know that feature is standard in some luxury cars like Mercedes.

View 7 RepliesI have a 2011 Phaeton with manually adjustable headrests on the front seats, haven't checked the rears, the drivers headrest stuck in the up position after moving it to clean underneath, pushed the button to lower the headrest with no luck and noticed the button was loose and not seated properly so I pulled it all the way out long piece of plastic with a small plastic pin on the end, put it back in a it bends the pin to the side, so decided to check out the passenger side it has a shorter piece of plastic with the same piece of plastic on the end and you guessed it that won't go back in either.
View 1 RepliesI get a little bit of wind noise from the drivers door. Upon inspection, I noticed that the drivers door sticks out a little bit more than the passenger door when it is closed. In other words, the passenger door window from is flush with the adjacent trim but the drivers window from is maybe 1.5 mm out. I suspect this may be just enough to cause the slight wind noise.

View 4 RepliesPerhaps a strange question, but is there any way the pedal height can be decreased. On my 2010 LS 460 it seems to be higher than on my previous 2005 LS 430 to the extent that I lift my foot off the accelerator pedal and miss the top of the brake pedal. It's happened often enough that I've been wondering if it could be reduced an inch or so.
