Phaeton :: Red Lights On Front Door Were Solid Rather Than Normal Flashing

Today I got back to to the Phaeton in a multistory car park and the red lights on the front doors were on solid rather than the normal flashing and what appeared brighter than normal. There was no evidence of anybody touching the car. It went away when the car was started and locked again.

I have a 99 Passat; 5-speed V6. My tachometer would go out intermittently and at the same time the oil and brake light would start flashing and the ABS light would come on solid. There would be no noticeable difference in performance. When the tachometer would come back on line the lights would go go. Now the tachometer appears to be down permanently and the dash lights above are in the same state as above. Still no noticable difference in performance. What may be wrong?

I think she is sulking from all the mistreatment
1st the touchscreen decided it didn't want to play ball for a couple of hours refusing to respond at all - the screen would change between functions but refused point blank to operate any of the touch controls - not funny when you have just got off the ferry in France with a 600ml drive to do and not a clue where your going!
Now I have an array of warning lights flashing away at me
All within about a mile 1st up was the particle filter blocked message and light then the engine light in rev counter rapidly followed by engine fault workshop message with second engine light in centre display , then came the the flashing glow plug light accompanied by a drop in power, I presume we are now in some sort of limp home mode!
Car is a UK 2011 3.0tdi GP3 ... I will attempt to get her into a dealer this afternoon and post a follow up on what they find.

2004 with 214000 miles. Brake pedal goes to the floor, red dash lights are flashing, I just added a container of brake fluid and still no pressure at the pedal. I'm guessing master cylinder.
My question is: Even though my brake pedal goes directly to the floor, how am I getting the car to stop at the very end of the push? Do the brakes somehow work as a fail-safe even the the hydrolics are basically toast? I know that's a long shot, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been shocked over systems in this car.

All of a sudden while I was driving the Tpm light came on flashing for a while and then it went "On" solid on my Rx350 2013. It does that every time I use my car now. Tire pressure is fine on all 4 wheels, tried a reset but nothing happened.(hidden button).

I noticed a couple of days ago that when I lock my Phaeton the flashing red light on the inside of the door turns solid red for a few seconds. The usual pattern is that it flashes a few times (a couple of seconds worth) when you press the lock button on the remote and then turns solid red for twenty or thirty seconds before going on to it's usual flashing to indicate that the doors are locked/alarm is set.
Is this normal or does it indicate a fault with the alarm or immobilizer? I can't recall it doing this until Friday (two days ago) but perhaps I've just missed it.

2002 Montana code P0304 light was flashing now solid, swapped coils no change, new plug and wire no change, found air box plugged solid from hibernating mice cleaned out thats when light went from flashing to solid still misefire. I've been told its the injector.

The car isnt always running while this is happening, key is not in the ignition. Car can be unlocked or locked and it still happens.

Car is a UK 2004 W12.
I've tried everything I can think of or find to get them working but the interior lights won't come on automatically. They work if I turn them on manually, or once I'm in if I press the 'door open' button on the lights they will work when the doors are open.
But surely they should come on when the car is unlocked like every other car? It's getting quite annoying getting into a car in total darkness!

So I just bought new wheels, and had them put on. Went from stock 16's to 17's now. After I had them put on there was no issue.
Now after I was driving for about 30 mins, I noticed that the Low Tire Pressure Indicator started flashing for 20-30 seconds, then stayed solid.
And now the indicator has been there ever since. I've tried reinitializing the TPMS but it stlll didn't go away.

This will be my first winter using a dedicated set of winter tires and wheels on my 09 Camry. The set doesn't have TPMS sensors. Will the TPMS light constantly flash or just stay lit when the system doesn't detect the sensors? I could live with the light always lit but if it flashes it will be annoying.

Today the solid engine symbol showed up inside my tachometer (no workshop message in the instrument panel display). The owners manual says this is an exhaust system problem. What do you make of the following scan:

I have had this 2004 Phaeton since 2006. No problems and only 72k miles. Over the last month I have had three occasions where upon start the gear display [PRNDS] in the center display of the dash board lights up solid orange (unlike the orange boarder with clear inside). The car shifts into reverse and into drive but seems to stay stuck in 2nd gear.
This is now happening about 50% of the time I start the car. When the display is normal the car and transmission appear fine.

I have a 2006 Ranger XLT 3.0 that is vibrating hard/rough idling, cel is on (solid, not flashing), has trouble accelerating with pedal punched. Will sometimes get a sudden burst when pedal is punched with rpms going up but most of the time no to slow raise of rpms with pedal engaged. Hooked code reader up to it and read ignition coil. Replaced the coil and changed plugs and wires. Truck still not running right. what gives? Is this a fuel pump, cats clogged, cylinder issue?

I have a 2008 F250 SD 5.4L with 335,000KM's(200,000+miles).
The engine light came on a few weeks ago and I cannot seem to get rid of it. I have also noticed when I'm accelerating hard at higher speeds/RPM's the engine light flashes?? After when I get to the cruising speed and let off the gas pedal the engine light stops flashing and stays solid. Also when accelerating hard there seems to be a hesitation, almost like the engine is choking itself. Once it gets passed the hesitation point during hard accelerating it seems fine? I have ran about 6 bottles of Seafood through the engine and gas tank. It definitely worked out but still has the hesitation, flashing engine light syndrome...I have changed the following with still no luck...
-Spark Plugs
-Coil on Plug
-Fuel Injectors
-Cam Phase sensors

Got a bit of an issue with the cabin lights in the rear. I am able to manually turn on the lights by pushing the individual light buttons, however if I push either the 'door open' or 'rear light' buttons there is no response.

Odd thing is now that the iPhone app updated, whenever I lock/unlock my car via the app the front and rear parking lights flash (DRL and tail lights), once when locking and twice when unlocking. That's never happened before. The doors would just lock/unlock with no lights. Found that a bit weird considering all that was changed was the app software, unless an update was pushed to the module in the car and I didn't know. Not really a concern but odd nonetheless...

I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE, and the seat belt light keeps on flashing and the airbag light is solid. We have tried literally everything possible, tried replacing the seat, replaced the seats sensors, tried a airbag module out of another 07 camry with exact same part #. Toyota have diagnosed that all the systems for airbag is fine, except it has something to do with the seat belt of the drivers side/or module but all that's been checked and still no luck. My car is due for Safety inspecting coming month and need this to fixed. How to handle this. Btw light came on because we had a blown fuse for the drivers power seat, and my mechanic thought that it was the motor so we replaced the seat and noticed that it wasn't the motor. Was just the fuse and we put back the original seat and everything is functional except the lights came on. No accidents on it to the extent i know. and the wiring is all plugged back properly without anything like wiring damage.

I have a 2007 L.L. Bean Edition Forester. The cruise light is flashing and check engine light is solid. I am well into my retirement age and nearest dealer is about 2 hours away. Is this something that local mechanic can fix? He is very good, but not Subaru schooled. I'm afraid to drive it now.

Recently I failed my inspection on my 99 Passat due to a blinking brake light. I was told by VW service department that this was caused by a bad ABS unit. Now I can't pass inspection without proving that my brakes are fine but the ABS module is causing the blinking parking light.
