Where is the OBD2 port?
View 1 RepliesWhere is the OBD2 port?
View 1 RepliesI just picked up a 99 F150 for a song because it has an issue with the PATS system and the po doesn't have a clue on what to do with it. I bought a new ignition cylinder and Auto Enginuity to program the PATS. The problem I'm having is that I'm not getting anything from the OBD2 port and the #3 fuse is good. What else would cause the port not to have signal?
View 4 RepliesMy 03 5.4 the obd2 port isnt working i have tried 4 bluetooth adapters and a snap on scanner and nothing will connect to the ecm. im having problems and trying to read codes my check engine light isnt on but that don't mean anything. my truck is running really rich and blows a little bit black smoke when i rev it up after its been idling a few min and getting horrible gas mileage again. yesterday i went to start it and i had to crank on it 4 time before it finally started and then when i reved it up it almost died on the way back down but it caught itself. then today i go out and it starts right up and runs fine but its still running rich but i still cant get an obd2 adapter to connect to the ecm. I checked the fuse and its not blown my cigarette plug and the power port both work. i really dont know where to start in trying to figure out this problem. Right now iI don't really want to take it to a shop right now.
View 4 RepliesWhere the low side air conditioning port on a 1988 ford 460 is? I found the high side one. But not the low one in order to charge the system ..
View 5 RepliesWhere is it. Probably under some shroud, but before I start taking things off, where it is from the perspective of standing in front of the grill.
View 2 RepliesI guess I shouldn't be surprised that I can't find the location of the OBD port in any of the written material on my '06 Avalon.

I think I have a slow leak, so I bought a DIY and was going to recharge it and see if that fixes it. Where exactly is the low pressure port so I can charge it?
Is it complicated to do? Looking for a picture of the location?
I have a 1994 Porsche 968 and I can not find the lowside AC charge port. Where it is?
View 3 RepliesI just learned that the charging port is in the right rear, compared to the Prototype with the port in the left front. Seems to me that about 50% of the time, the driver will get in the car and drive off with the car still plugged in because they won't see the cable when getting in. Or at best, you will get in the car, and then have to get out again to unplug it. What am I missing?

To install my FLIR system I need a 12V power supply, ideally switched with my Gen III's ignition switch. Where in the engine compartment can I find that?

View 3 RepliesWhere the condensation from the air conditioning goes? I found some "liquid" in my garage on the left side of the car about two feet from the front left tire. I am hoping it's from the air conditioning.
View 2 RepliesWhere is the ambiant outside air temp sensor located on the Phaeton? I know it is located under the outside left or right mirror (based on model year) on a Volvo but not sure where it is on the Phaeton. No problems, just curious.

View 4 RepliesI'm wiring up a backup camera, which comes with a voltage sense lead so it automatically turns on/off with the backup lights. What is the fuse location for the backup/reverse lights, or the physical location (and color) of the hot wire for the backup lights, so I can tap into that?
View 16 RepliesWhere to find the headlight washer pump fuse. My owners manual does not list it for some strange reason.
The washer heads both extend OK using the service button, but when I pull the washer stalk only one (RHS) pops out and no fluid comes out, so I am guessing the washer pump has stopped working.
Where the Crank Shaft Position sensor is located on a 2004 4.2 phaeton... Dealership want 360 to install it ...

View 3 RepliesMy car is getting close to the 55- thousand mile service, and correct me if i am wrong the service is not mentioned in the owners handbook unless i overlooked something. However for the first time since i have the car the service due message is counting down in the readout.
Recently the CEL came on again, giving me an opportunity to use VAG adapter to read out the error code from memory. So went to open the panel underneath the steering wheel which contains the OBD connector. And that's when i got stuck.
According to the owner hand book the compartment has a little latch to open it. The only latch i found is the one used for the hand brake release. So what am I overlooking ?
