Phaeton :: How To Disable ABS

I finally took possession of my Phaeton and have been driving it daily. We're very quickly falling in love. With the Northeast snow storm that just hit, I've now had the opportunity to see how it performs in slippery conditions. When it comes to going, I'm loving the AWD. When it comes to stopping, there are some issues. The car is so heavy that it's difficult to wrangle that inertia, and the ABS is driving me a little nuts. I grew up inland from Lake Ontario, in the northern edge of upstate New York's "snow belt." I've been driving in snow since I've been driving. I think ABS is great for the masses, but frankly I can stop the car more effectively (if a little less controlled) without it. It doesn't look like there's any way to disable it, like you can with the traction control. Are there any secret tips?

The Air Condition triggers automatically to ON when I start the car. I would like to Disable this feature and want to manually turn on the A/C ?
Also I have the separate navigation plugged into the cigarette lighter for charging the navi. when I turn off the car, the navi is still ON and charging. How can I code the cigarette lighter to turn off completely when I switch off my car ?

I have a full size factory spare tire in the trunk and my TPMS is constantly saying the tire is flat or whatever, of course it's not, and of course I've set the correct tire pressure and of course I've recalibrated the system to no avail. I get an exclamation point on the screen for that tire only.
I want to disable monitoring of that tire ONLY. It does me no good since I have aftermarket rims/tires anyway so a flat means bad news for me right now. I don't need to have that spare monitored until I get an aftermarket 5 rim (which probably won't fit in that space anyway.

SO, I am thinking about adding the LED strip lights, either around the lights or where the fogs go. My question is how can I disable the DRL's? I just ordered HID's as well, and rather not have them run all the time.

Can you disable the Navigation system on Lexus models or ES if you prefer? Nav seems like a waste as most ppl seem to have a better system on their devices these days. I'd like to disable it bc I don't want that on any car I own. I don't use smart phones.
Seems like a lot of packages have to come w/ nav. Can I shut 'er down?

I have a 2010 GTI which is running the stage 2 GIAC file and a catless downpipe. My CEL permanently remains on even after o2 spacers in the dp. I was told by the shop that replaced my clutch that this can be disabled through VAGCOM but would like to know from VW enthusiasts if this is true and if so how can this be done? The light sometimes shuts off for an hour or two and then comes right back on. I have cleared the code before using a scanner as I hope this is not what they are referring to.

Seems like there are so many buzzers and gongs in this vehicle - keys, seatbelts, lites, park assist I'm about ready to officially conclude: "over-engineered" (right before I shoot myself). But the seat belt gong bothers me the most (at least, so far; I'm still trying to figure out what they all are). Why can't I sit in the car, in park (not going anywhere) with my seatbelt unfastened, without having to here "gong, gong, gong" every 15 seconds (or whatever it is).
Is this regulation now? My '02 Jeep didn't do this. My '04 Maxima doesn't do this. I hate this. How to disable this?

So I want to disable the ABS on my Corolla. I was wondering if I could pull the fuse in my bonnet to disable the ABS and if I were to do so which fuse would I pull.
I think if I were to pull the fuse from the interior, the other car features that are tied into the fuse wouldn't work.
If I can't pull the fuse in the bonnet, what are the other ways I could disable ABS? I read that removing the relay is an option.
Also is there anything I should know if I were to reactivate ABS? For instance, would the ABS light be off when I presumably reactivate it or do I need to perform some extra steps to remove the ABS light?

After going through the Prius v manual, I just realized that there is no way to turn off traction control. Now, 99.9 % of the time, traction control is a good thing. But sometimes, it is useful to be able to turn it off.

New owner of previously owned 2008 LS600hL and it has the recurring "PCS not available now" dinging message and i want to disable it for now. Upon researching it i found that it should be under the steering wheel presumably next to the TPMS reset button but I am not seeing it. The location I was expecting it to be (to the left of the TPMS reset) actually has two wires going into what looks like a blank plastic cover plate but no button.

2010 Santa Fe 3.5 AWD
Is there a way to temporarily disable the AWD, if one were to want it to stay in 2wd mode? Without looking much further into it, my first guess was looking at one of the fuses, but didn't really find one that would stop the AWD from engaging.
And if there is a method, would it be just as simple and turning it back on, or would there be potential to screw things up and have to go back to the dealer to get it fixed again.
