P1626 Databus Drivetrain Missing message from trans ctrl mod.
They are no errors in the transmission control module, only in both ECU's.

I tried to move it but with no luck , the message is still there and I also noticed that the light on the shift that indicates that I need to press on the break to start is not glowing. This is not the 1st time I had this error but before I had to leave it for a while and it will start ...
I really love my Phaeton and it has only 75,774 kilometres on , so it is quite new ...

I've been getting this "system fault workshop!" error message popping up like crazy. Its got a picture of a key, and makes the audible beep when it appears. on a short drive to work, maybe 10 minutes, it will randomly come on and beep anywhere from 3-10 times during my drive. The car starts and drives perfectly fine. This has been happening for a little over a week now. I noticed one post about this before, but that owner seemed to have different symptoms as their car wouldn't start. I really would hate to bring it into the dealership, as I've just paid them a small fortune fixing different things to finally get down to the bottom of it to find out i needed new fuel pump modules.

Today, the sound system failed, then shortly after, the navigation system failed.
On the console, if I press any map/navigation buttons, the error message "Navigation System Unavailable" is displayed.
If I press an audio related button, the error message "DSP system is unavailable". I took it to a private vw repair shop and a vw dealer. What was causing the issue.
I am now headed to a vw dealer with certified phaeton tech. I looked towards fuse issue, but they appear to be ok..
I just changed the battery in my 07 Camry with factory installed navigation system and now my whole radio/navigation system is DEAD.
I ejected and reinstalled DVD in NAV system and it has no effect. The ON/OFF button on radio does not turn radio on. Error message on screen is 'No DVD - Please insert MAP DVD. I have checked the radio fuse and it is OK.
I am trying to determine the P106 error message (MAP sensor, or 5V error). Where the MAP sensor is located as well as what else I should be looking at? Something else that has been odd is when the ECS error comes on the check engine comes up as well. I just had my car in for the ECS, brake light recall with no change.
View 9 RepliesI received a new CD for father's day and tried to put it in the factory 6 disk player and once I removed the cd I wanted to and tried to load the new one, I got a cd error message. Now it won't even play the 5 cd that are in there and I can't get it to eject them or accept the new one. Is there an easy fix, or am I looking at a new radio? I'm guessing I won't find one like the factory one, but will an aftermarket one work with the steering wheel controls and all?
View 9 RepliesWhen I go on longer trips I connect my iphone 4s via the sync usb so that it can recharge; I still stream audio via bluetooth but it reads all the music from the phone and tells me some of my tracks are missing artist, genre, album interrupting my music after 1-2 minutes of scanning my songs.
One solution would be to find and fix the songs with missing info but I have a lot and don't want to go there. Another solution would be to get a faster 1amp charger from 12v socket instead of the usb 500mA. I may go there eventually but I already have the usb cable.
Any way to tell sync to just leave it be and don't tell me each time?
I recently performed the MDI update, and now whenever I connect something to the USB, I get a "Check Medium" error message.

View 5 RepliesI have a 2003 1.8L Volkswagen Passat which I hate to say I've been lax on taking care of. In the past year I've been good about getting the oil changed and using fully synthetic oil. I am now getting an error message that says STOP Check Oil Press. Stop Motor. I took the car to my mechanic who can't tell me exactly what's wrong. From what I'm reading here, it looks like I'm dealing with "sludge."
My car is at a little over 60,000 miles and I'm wondering what to do. I don't mind spending the money to fix the car, but I really don't know how to figure out exactly what's going on, and what I should do. The mechanic I took the car to is going to completely empty the oil and then get a gage of the true oil level...
Sometimes my Samsung S5 will connect and I am able to use Pandora, other times not. Bluetooth is always on. I get a message that says "Tether error" where the Pandora box is. Tried resetting the system by pressing and holding the volume button for 3 seconds, also turned off and back on bluetooth on my phone. Today I opened the app on my phone and still nothing.
This is on a 2014 IS 350 AWD F Sport.
Don't know know the cause of this message. From what I've been able to find, it sounds like a serpentine belt.
View 13 RepliesI picked up a 2016 CSG GTI S 4-door with DSG on Dec 31st. I had an Airbag Error! message come on when I started it this weekend. I went through several cycles of restarts and it didn't go away. I did a quick Internet search and didn't hit on any common problem with airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, etc. I called that Saturday and was given a Monday appointment. I was dreading them having to take out interior dash, seats, trim, etc. to troubleshoot. I just got the call that the problem turned out to be with an airbag sensor connection in the front bumper and it is ready to go. Can't wait to get back to driving!
View 5 Replies3 weeks in shop and still no end in sight regarding all the TSB and warranty work. One fix seems to lead to a new problem. Service guys are nice, but it sure is taking long. They thought it was nearly ready to go, but the latest error message showing up tells the driver to "put the vehicle in P" while driving.

View 22 RepliesFor the last 3 months I've been bringing in my vehicle in and out of the VW dealership trying to find out why once in a while when I turn off my my vehicle the accessory part turns back on by its self and error message displaying "Error: Brakes service now!" In the middle of the cluster & then the car turns off completely. The first time I brought it to the VW dealership they called corporate and they said to change the cluster so they did. Two days after I pick up my car the error message came back on. Took it for the 2nd time and they said that it was the gateway .
And one day later after picking up my car the error message came back on again. I'm getting tired bringing in my Golf R and not fixing this issue. What it could be? Just an FYI, It is a push start. Here's a quick video link so you can see what I'm talking about [URL] ....
I have an 2009 hyundai sonata.i just recently upgraded my phone from an android to apple. I had my other phone and I was using the usb drive to play my music. Now today i just got a new iphone and I tried to hook it up the same way via usb but it will not work. It wont read and a error message came up on the display saying usb driver not found.

While my wife was re-parking my 2007 S60 this morning (currently at 73,143 miles), the error message "Reduced engine performance" came up.
She had switched-off the engine before calling me on the phone to report it, else i would have told her to rev the engine to see how far the rpm gauge could go.
While checking through the error on google, noticed there were several complaints on this in the past but could not see any inferences on what was done to resolve this except for guys who mentioned repeated visit to dealership.
When she switched-on the engine again, the error message didn't come up and she could rev the engine up to 6500rpm, i intend using the car for a long journey next week and do not want any breakdowns.
