Phaeton :: Driver Side Headlight Flickers Brighter Every 6 Seconds

I noticed on the drive in today that with my headlights on -- every six seconds the drivers side headlight would flicker / flash brighter (not go dark) for a split moment -- very consistent time would elapse between each flicker. I identified it was the drivers side when I was at a stoplight behind another vehicle. (reflection) Upon arriving to the office I noticed the drivers side low beam headlight was blue and the passenger side was regular color. (matching the fog light)
I assume the drivers side is a Xenon and the passenger side was replaced with a non-Xenon bulb? Also, on a drive during lunch I noticed a warning light flicker under my low wiper fluid warning light -- over a half hour period it only flashed twice, yet the second time I noticed it looked like a light bulb. Is this attempting to warn me about my headlights?

I have a 2010 passat sedan 2.0T. I had DDM 35w 6k HID's installed and ever since this was installed I have had problems galor with my headlights. first the drivers side went out then the passenger side went out. them ballest were bad and then bulbs you get the picture. However now my drivers side headlight flickers when I accelerate and I can not figure out how to fix this.

I have a little problem with my bi xenon's. When my headlights are on and i accelerate they some times flicker on and off for a split second , or then go off completely and come back on or they become brighter than usual for a brief moment.
I was going to look at it my self and check for loose connections but am a little busy for removing the headlights and checking the ballasts at the moment, it has been on my "to do list " for several weeks and i am no closer. As you can imagine it is very annoying and potentially very dangerous if a motorist waiting to pull out from a junction takes my flickering light to be and invitation to pull out.

I have yellow tinted fog lights on my Camry, but they weren't a dark enough yellow for me, so I decided to install some yellow Nokya 2500k bulbs as well. They seem to have installed fine, but the driver side bulb shines a lot brighter than the passenger side one:

So my passenger puddle light is brighter than my driver side. I switch bulb and still the same. Is there a fuse or short or something in the car. Don't know what to do.

Recently I noticed that my passenger and drivers side tail lights do not get brighter when I hit the brake. However, the center LED lights still are functioning properly. What might be wrong and how to fix it? I thought it might be the break light switch based on what I have read, but I would imagine that the center LED lights would be messed up too if that was the problem.

I installed a Morimoto Elite HID system in my car. Testing it out I noticed that while the car is off, but the ignition is on, the lights work flawlessly. Once I started the car up the driver's side light flickers and there's a harsh buzzing noise coming from the relay.
You may be thinking to yourself, "This is an easy one, he just needs a capacitor" ....but the thing is, I also installed a capacitor with it. The power from the stock headlights plugs into a cable that runs through the rubber flange (that fills the hole you make in the back of the housing cap) directly into the capacitor. The output from the capacitor then runs into the relay. I believe this is the correct setup.

This has been really getting at me for a while, I have one headlight that is brighter than the other, a tail light that is brighter then the other, and both fog lights are out. It's been like that since I bought the truck a few months back, I checked the fuse for the fogs and I changed all the lights.

So about 3 days ago the right side headlight just went out with no warning, both bulbs were replaced 3 months ago. What's even stranger is about 2 months ago the left side went out for 4 or 5 days then just came back on and has been working fine.

My 04 Toureag has one headlight (low beam) that flickers on and off. I can shut the door and it will flicker on. This happens both for daytime running lights as well as regular headlights. It also at times registers on the dash that a light is burnt out. Yet all the lights are on and working.

My 2006 Prius (Model NHW20) has a strange headlight problem. On the passenger side, the high beam light is out but the regular headlight works.
On the driver side, the high beam is working but the regular headlight is out.
I don't think it's the fuses but I'm not sure. No amount of interchanging the following fuses changes anything about the issue:
1. 10A H-LP HI RH
2. 10A H-LP HI LH
3. 15A H-LP LO RH
4. 15A H-LP LO LH

I dropped off my 2012 Passat to the dealer this morning because the driver's DRL was out and the passenger headlight was out. Normally I'd change bulbs myself and be on my way but since this is new and under warranty, I let them do the work.
Anyway, fixed the DRL (bad bulb). But the passenger headlight assembly needs replacing. Seems I have fallen victim to a melted housing causing a failure. I've read about the situation somewhere here on the forums and suspected it might be the case. So VW is 2-3 days out on getting a new part and I'm in a loaner for the time being.
I'm guessing this happens a lot with this part. I wonder if VW will issue a recall in the future.

For the past couple months every now and again the power dies in my car for merely two seconds, then flickers back on and I can accelerate again. Just the other day the car completely turned off and all the lights on the dash lit up. I had to break and restart the car in the middle of the road. What is the problem here and how cheap will it be to fix?
