So I believe I have glitch in my blower system. When I have the car and heater on, it comes through, but it feels like the blower isn't working much at all. however, when I but the car in reverse or hit the windshield wiper cleaner, the blower starts doing its job like it should.

View 7 RepliesI have a 2012 C 3, with 27K miles. This morning on the way to the store i turned on the heater and the fan turned on and after like 2 mins the blower stop working. All the lights are on, but nothing comes out of the vents under any circumstances. I tried taking of the ECO mode, I tried turning the car on and off. still nothing.
If I bring it to the dealer will they fix it under warranty? Could it be a bad fuse? where is the fuse box? What could it be, its freezing outside and I need heat for the kids in the car.
AS topic states, it just stopped working on my wife's drive home from work... I believe the fuse is the 2nd one from the top.. far left... I checked it, and it's in-tact...
View 3 RepliesI have a 2004 Elantra. The blower for heat/ac not working. I did all of this:
Checked interior fuses, all OK.
Checked 30 amp fuse in engine compartment, put a new one in.
Pulled blower motor out and tested with a 12V power supply: worked fine.
Replaced Blower Relay
Replaced Blower Resistor
all of this and still no blower.
The heater control panel on the dash has 3 knobs. When I turn the first to AC...the light comes on and I hear the AC kick in. 2nd knob is blower fan...nothing on any setting. 3rd knob...hot and cold...not sure since no blower.
I am lost at what to do next.
I got a new resistor since my last one was in a puddle of water and installed that today and still have no heater blower motor. I checked all the fuses and have power. I sent power to the blower itself and it spins good. So somewhere between the fuse and the blower it isn't working. I need to take the controls out and test for power there. Didn't have time to do that today. What wires to check or where to start trouble shooting?

Whether the heater knob is on low or high, it does nothing, but you can feel a little heat coming out, though. I was told it may be a resistor behind the glove box. I've already checked the fuse, and it seems OK. What do I do?
View 6 RepliesThe heater/ac blower stopped working on my 2004 Lexus GX470. All the lights and display work but the fan doesn't work on any speed. I replaced the relay in the fuse box under the hood but no luck. I removed the blower and it works when I hot wire it to the battery. I checked the voltage coming into the blower and its at 13.5V, same as coming off the battery but it doesn't turn the fan.

View 2 RepliesI had to replace the vacuum control for the heater in the dash panel. The fan worked good on all 4 speed settings but only in the defrost position due to the damaged control valve. The control valve works all position for the heater positions now. There is power at both sides of the heater fuse under the dash but no blower function. Is there a fuseable link elsewhere in the system to check. Is the fan motor only accessible to test by accessing the heater/AC under the dash on the passenger side. 1973 Crew Cab....

View 1 RepliesRecently bought a 2003 E350. The front heater/ac blower motor isn't working. I found the control switch melted and bought a new switch. Before installing it, I need to do some diagnostics. I checked the blower with a couple of jumpers ant it turns and blows. I think that leaves the blower motor resistor. Where it is on a 2003 E350? I also need to check the relay. I have a power distribution box at the front left under the hood. Is the relay there? The box is not labeled like my GM products. Which is the blower motor relay? Finally, which fuse controls the blower motor? I read it might be a 40 amp fuse. If so, that might narrow it down.
View 6 Replies99 Explorer Blower motor quit working. Disconnected and hot wired to a battery and blower motor worked. So I know it is in the switch and/or wiring. I need this truck everyday so going into the shop is out. Live in Northern Mn and the temp was -15 degrees. So as a temp fix what does everybody think of running a wire from the battery to a switch inside and then to the blower motor and then to a ground. Would have a inline fuse. If this will work what gauge wire and what amp fuse would you use. Its getting cold without heat.

1. speedometer/odometer not working,
2. heater/blower stopped working this week, blower makes a LOUD, HIGH FREQUENCY sound, sort of like a siren.
Was hoping to get another 2 years from her considering recent cash outlay. The mechanic couldn't figure out issue #1, and he hasn't looked at it since #2 started this week. I guess we can live w/ issue #1, but #2 has to be fixed ...
Very strange things happening with 2009 F350 Gas, first the heater blower only is now working on high, progressively has gotten worse, low settings started not working a while ago, now only high works. Just recently the strangest thing, start the truck OK, turn on radio OK, turn lights on then the radio goes off. Will bring it to dealer in a day or two if I can't figure this one out.
View 3 RepliesSo my aux heater stopped working. It may just be a failed glowplug as per the error code but as there is significant corrosion around the controller I thought it best to get hold of a second hand unit, which leads to a couple of questions.
1. Can the glow plug be changed with the heater in situ?
2. What needs to be removed to get the heater out? Is it a big job?
Even my mech says it's easily the most complex car he's worked on, and he's had Ferraris/Porsches etc in before!
I am trying to troubleshoot why my heater blower, cruise control and info center above my rear-view mirror has stopped working. I am trying to confirm power to an orange wire next to the driver-side fuse box. I have confirmed no power at the fuses. I am hoping the problem is the wire box below the fuse box and not the ignition switch. I have a wiring diagram and the power feed to these three fuses is via an Orange wire. There are two Orange wires in the box, I am trying to determine which one feeds the fuses for these three devices. I have a picture of the fuse box.
View 2 RepliesThe blower fan inside the truck blows just fine when you first start the truck but will cut off and not blow at all after a few minutes. Then it will cut back on after a minute or so. It does this off and on all the time. It seems if it were a fuse it would just cut off and not come back on. This is a Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Edition.

My heater blower does not work. I pulled the connector to the resister behind the glove box and couldn't find any current going to it. I had the key on. I checked and also replaced the blower fuse in the box under the hood (just in case) and checked all the fuses in the fuse box by the driver's door.
Is there somewhere else I should check to see why I don't have any power going to the resister?
