I'm looking for the process to remove the exterior black glossy b pillar trim on the front door. My wife decided to open my door against a ladder and it has a 3mm scratch that's going to big the piss out of me so I'm looking to replace it. Also looking for the PN as well.

View 1 RepliesIs there a Trick to remove the A-pillar trim? I pulled all of the screws that I could find. Looking at the pic, there should be a screw near the rear of the Dash, but I am not seeing one there. It feels caught on something as I pry. I don't want to pry too hard to just have it crack/break.
I have pulled the black speaker panel at the front on the dash already. That was a pain to do with the windshield in the way.
Also, any tips on removing the trim around the sliding door window in the pic? Pulled all the screws and it still feels attached to something at the top.
Car's an '05 SE 4 cyl. Camry. The silicone strip on the passenger's side door chrome trim is coming off, and I was wondering what my options are for fixing this? Can I somehow push it back into place and have it stay there? Is it torn or simply coming off? Is it purely aesthetic or does it serve any other purpose?
View 14 RepliesI have the car door apart, how to remove the panel on my camry. I got all the way to where I have to remove the outside handle to completely take out the part that has the actuator built in. Everything is all good until I got to this part. How to finish getting the handle off so the part that goes into the electrical mechanism where the actuator can be removed is done. I got the mechanism basically hanging there. I got the two bolts to what I thought was holding the outside handle on. One bolt is on the side of the door covered by a rubber grommit and the there inside the door in the middle of the handle.

My 2015 sonata sports have it's passenger side A-pillar trim cover keeps on popping out, I pushed it back in couple days ago, and now it pops out again. Think I can take it to the dealership to get it fixed?

I've got a 2003 camry LE/V6. The interior trim fabric to the right and left of the rear window is curling back on the trim panel away from the glass. This has been happening slowly over a year or so and now has reached a point of requiring repair. I've searched the site, but haven't found anything directly related. These panels appear to be separate from the headliner and the rear window shelf. How these panels come out? If these snap into clips and can be removed, I might be able to match fabric closely enough to be OK.
View 2 RepliesSo my GTI is going back to dealer tomorrow to deal with a few problems that are driving me insane.
First the hatch is rubbing against the bumper in the corners and has worn away the paint on both sides.
Then there is the A pillar trim on passenger side that has come loose at the top, also we have the rear lights that are letting in water on both sides and finally the start button is starting to fall apart and has cracked!!
I have owned 4 vw's from new and never encountered this level of shoddy workmanship. I can only put it down to new plant and new model, very annoying.
Purchased in June and has 12,000 and love it but these niggles are frustrating.
The pasenger side trim piece that covers the A-pillar air bag in my 07 XLE will not stay in place. It becomes loose and you notice a gap at the top. You can smack it back in place and it appears to snap back in to where it belongs, but 15 minutes of driving and it comes loose again. I have replaced the clip (part number 90950-A8001) that holds it in, but it still just comes loose again a short time later.
