View 2 RepliesHave an '07 ES350 non-ML audio system with navi. When out to the car today and found out the radio turned on when the car started but most of the audio control buttons on the center console no longer work. They worked fine the previous day. Here is a brief list of what does and does not work.
Power/volume : pushing it in to turn the radio on/off no longer work but rotating it does increase/decrease the volume
Tune/file : works fine
All other audio control buttons on the center dash for cd/am/fm/track control no longer work.
Sound from the speakers is fine.
The mode selector on the wheel works fine.
Navigation works fine.
As it is now, I am unable to turn the radio off since the power only responds to volume control. I am able to switch between radio and cd using the mode button on the wheel and the sound is fine. Could this be a fuse issue perhaps?
I have a 2009 Prius with the Aux port in the center console. It has stopped working unless you jiggle the cable. Need to get a replacement?
View 4 RepliesI've been using Bluetooth audio on my Samsung S3 phone. A great feature is that I was able to hit "media" button on RX and that would begin streaming music on my phone.
That all changed when I recently switched to Samsung S5. Now I am unable to use the streaming audio unless I initiate the music from the phone first.
Is there a setting or something I may have missed? I really liked just being able to do everything from the RX console without having to go to the phone for streaming music.
If I'm using Bluetooth to listen to music and my headlights are on when I switch the headlights off to just parking and the daytime running lights the navigation/radio shuts off the music and goes to the off screen. At first I thought it was just a fluke, but then several more times I tried it and every time it turns off.
View 2 RepliesI have a Verizon Blackberry Bold and a Prius v III. Sometime when I turn off the car the BT blue light stays on and I can not shut the BT off on the phone. I have to pull the battery for a hard reset.
View 3 RepliesThey use to come and go now they're just gone. The cd player and everything lights up but the a/c quit all together last night.
View 14 RepliesMy overhead with temp, compass and mpg stopped working.
View 11 RepliesMy navigation and middle console have stopped working..I checked fuses.
View 2 RepliesSo I am pretty sure my factory head unit will stream Via Bluetooth from my iPhone or my android, it's pairing with the car for the phone feature.
However it won't let me stream music, there is an Icon on the stereo but it doesn't do anything.
My dad just purchased a 2010 Toyota Camry and once we paired my iPhone 4 to the Bluetooth system, the speech command system stopped working.
Did something go wrong during the process? The bluetooth system is working perfectly fine as in the music will play as well as receiving phone calls. However, when I want to pair a second phone to the system, the speech command system wont work and it would just take the screen to the start with it saying "welcome". Normally, it would take you to the setup of pairing a phone, but this time it takes me back to the "welcome" part when you start the car.
I have a 2014 Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring. The 2 console power outlets stopped working. If it may be a blown fuse how do I get the cover off the fuse box under the dash, just pry it off? I hate to break it.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2005 RX330 that is fully loaded (Navigation, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls). About 6 months ago almost all of the technology stopped working. The navigation ask for a repair disk. The bluetooth stopped working. The radio still works, but recently it has been spotty, like you will turn on the car and the radio will not work, and no matter how much you turn the volume up or down no sound will come on until you turn the car off and turn it back on.
View 2 RepliesAny possibility that there's an off switch that I accidentally hit?
View 1 RepliesLast week I got the airbag light up on my dash board. Then, my horn stopped working along with the radio controls. Now they are telling me its not being covered because of my aftermarket modifications. Now my aftermarket modifications are the following done through Vag-Com: DRLs disabled for HIDs, Remote up/down for windows.
So they are telling me they can not communicate with the module. Correct me if I'm wrong here, and I most likely am since I don't know much about this, but aren't they unable to connect to the module because.... it's defective?
2013 F-250. Sync. No navigation. I am able to pair my Android cell phone to the truck and all works fine. Can send and receive calls using the voice commands etc. I am also able to play music from my bluetooth enabled LG V10 android cell phone. When I start the truck, it automatically detects my cell phone, connects to it and begins playing music from my cell phone through the truck stereo. And therein lies the problem.
My question is, is there a way to tell the truck to go ahead and connect to the cell phone, but don't start playing music. In other words, I don't want the truck to launch the music player on my cell phone. I always have to either turn off the player on my cell phone or give the "pause" command through bluetooth audio.
When I connect a phone to my wife's Prius it pairs easily enough. The problem is, each time i start the car, it finds the phone and decides to tell the phone to start streaming music.
View 5 RepliesI noticed that when I active BT on my phone it connects to my cars phone BT automatically. But has a harder time when I try to connect to the portable audio player to stream music. I have to turn off the BT on my phone and turn it back on and then hit the "connect" button for the audio player and it works. Then I have to go back to the phone screen and hit connect again.
View 6 RepliesWhen I am listening to songs from iPhone there are buttons on my head unit (C2 radio NOT nav system) for play/pause, fwd, rewind BUT the rewind and fwd buttons only forward through the song it's playing (like you used to be able to do with cassette tapes) and it does NOT skip to the next song. How stupid is that? I have never seen a digital audio player that did this, the fwd/rewind always skip back a song or fwd a song BUT the prius head unit only skips through the song itself.
View 6 RepliesI have a new 2014 Prius Three. I am able to play music from my new ipad mini through my head unit via bluetooth. When I try to play video however, there is a 1-2 second audio lag behind the video.
View 2 RepliesEverytime, I get into my V I play my various podcast (via iPhone). However, its takes about a minute (as compared to my wife's RX which connects instantaneously). Why it takes such a long time? Bluetooth is always on and its be "paired".
Also, when I turn off audio, the screen simply shows blue screen with "audio off". Is there a way that I can always default to the map screen instead of going to apps --> maps --> show map? Not a biggie, but a nice to have for me.
