Passat (B6) :: What Is The Part Number For Torque Insert Stretch Bolt
Oct 17, 2010
As the title implies I need the part # for the OEM VW Stretch bolt that holds the Torque Arm insert in place. I've had the mount on my car for a few months now and I've grown tired of it.
I re-used the OEM bolt the first time and I think I'm better off replacing it as it may not be wise to unbolt it and re-torque it for a third time. Looking for the part # for the stretch bolt? I believe it's 21mm.

My torque converter is on the way out so I need to look for a new one. I'm pretty new at the transmission thing but I was told by my indy that my torque converter is on the way out. My problem is that I can't find the part number for my torque converter. I have a 2000 1.8t tip ATW.

According to the repair manual, you need to replace item 3, a Torque to Yield bolt, when removing the caliper. What is the part VW part number?

I need the part number for the lower shock bolt that holds the shock, swaybar link, and trailing arm together. It came loose and stripped the threads out of the trailing arm. I think if I can find a nut the right size I can tighten that against the outside of spindle for a temporary fix. I can't seem to find one, or a part number.

I just installed Black Forest Industries Torque Arm insert for the 09+ TSI (He said TDI's work too). Anyways the vibration noise is unbearable with the windows up, it is producing this sound frequency/ pressure that gives you an instant migraine. I am a mechanic and I followed the instructions. You really can not keep the car at idle or you head will explode. If you bring the rpm's up to 1000 its all good as gravy.

My driver's seat is broken. Specifically the part in the middle that lets one adjust the front to back position and it's connection to the front bottom of the seat. I'm hoping this isn't all one unit as I'd rather not buy a new seat.
I can edit the pictures to point out what's wrong if it's not obvious.

I've started retrofitting foglights into my mother's 2012 Tiguan (S 4motion). All of the parts were dealer ordered, but twice now they've sent me the wrong switch. The mounting/locking mechanism is the wrong size (too large on the new switches). In addition, the second switch had an "auto" selection.
The original part number was 3C8941431F C1F-T shown on the left here:
The two part numbers they have shipped so far are:
3C8-941-431-G-XSH and 3C8-941-431-E-XSH
I need a standard headlight switch, no auto, with fog (front only is fine).
