Passat (B6) :: RPMs Are Close To Being Below 1 After Let Go Off The Gas

I got a forge spacer two days ago. Now this morning my check engine light is on and my rmps are close to being below 1 after I let go off the gas. I think I might have blown the dv. What's wrong???

Just checking in to see where you'd recommend to start looking for a rough idle issue. It seems to get worse once the car fully warms up. I took a vid, and although it may not seem horrible in the video, it sometimes causes throttle lag from a stop and causes the car to get close to stalling when falling from high RPM's. I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute with 150,000 miles that is meticulously maintained. This past winter (as far as winter goes in San Diego) the engine would run rough and the rpm's would drop close to stalling when stopping at a light for the first 2 or 3 miles. After that the engine has warmed and there is no problem. Could this be the intake gaskets needing replacement. This only happens on a cool or damp, rainly morning.

I've noticed that when it's cold out when i open the trunk it won't close... you can slam it, be nice, hold it down, nothing... I have no issues when it's not cold out say 45+ F. Anything lower than that forget it....

I have been unsuccessful in closing the power sunroof from outside the car with the key fob. In my previous VWs and my current A4 I have the ability to do it with the key by turning to the right. The manual says to hold the lock button down??!! How long do I have to hold it down??

This morning the sunroof on our 04 Wagon freaked out and now will not close, or go back into the roof. It is stuck about 1/2 lifted. Each time you move the dial it tries to close, then goes right back to 1/2 open. Nothing appears to be stuck anywhere in the mechanisms and we were driving while it happened.

I installed a non-auto euro switch. I tried scandinavian drls and that left all my exterior lights on at all switch positions, even off and when the key is off. I switched no drls and the switch works as it is supposed to. I tried enabling some of the comfort stuff. I want the remote to be able to open and close the windows, but I can't get it to do it. I think i have the right boxes checked in vag com, but no luck.

I have a 2007 B6 wagon with the power liftgate option and recently the closing function stopped....but the opening function continues to work! I have checked and cleaned the switch on the gate and nor change.

So, for about the last year, the whole time I have owned the car, the trunk latch wouldn't close when I shut the trunk. Basically I just lift it up again and try closing it, then it closes fine.

So currently i wrecked my jetta. so....i decided why fix it when i can upgrade so ive decided to purchase a new-er car so Ive come across a 1999 passat with about 135xxx v6 auto/tiptronic and its selling under 2 grand. only issue is that none of the windows open or close. i am willing to fix this i just have a few questions.
How reliable is this make an model?
How much in the hole can i see myself with the above mentioned window issue?(not sure exactly what the problem is)
Any specific questions i should ask when i go to see the car?

Yesterday, the driver side window in my Passat (1.8T, year 1999) kind of "dropped", and wouldn't close now. When I try to close using the switch, I can hear as if a motor is rotating for a few seconds, but nothing happens. What might be the cause? Can it be fixed relatively easily without making a trip to the dealer?

I opened the trunk to put something in this morning and when I tried to close it the darn thing kept bouncing right back up. So I luckily brought it directly to the dealership who was able to get me an appt. at 11:30 the same day. By 11:45 I got a call that the trunk latch was faulty and had been replaced and the car was ready to go.It was really annoying because there is no way to actually tie down the trunk if it won't close, so I had to drive to the dealership with my trunk open! You'd think they could have put some type of clips or hooks to hook up.

This morning was freezing outside, went to work , unlock the car turn it on get in close. The door and slam!! Slam! Slam ! It won't closed! Every so often, when I close the drivers door slowly, I get a groaning/creaking noise. I can't decide if it just needs to be lubricated, or the alignment has been hurt and needs adjusting.

I have a 99 B5 stock with 114,000 on it. On Saturday my wife and I went out for a ride, she had to get something form the trunk so I unlock the doors and she gets out when she gets back in the car I notice the trunk lid light is on and i tell her to close it she said she did so I get out and close it. I noticed when i went to close it the latch wouldn't engage. I turn the car off and try to use my key to lock the trunk, I noticed the alarm doesn't engage when I try to lock it. I then try to start up the car and it wont start.
I pop the hood everything looks good I try it again no luck after about twenty minutes of testing, I decide to disconnect the battery. The car starts right up but while im driving i notice the trunk lid light comes back on and my doors keep trying to lock, then my windows go down for no reason...What is going on, I have heard that some passats have a real bad electrical problem with time but what causes it and is this something Im going to have to bring to the stealership to get fixed.

I have a 2007 3.6 wagon. Tonight, I opened the tailgate with the remote and when I pushed the button on the gate to close it, nothing happened. The close button has suddenly stopped working. I called the dealer and he told me to push it down by hand. That's fine for now, but I want the button working.
There isn't something I did wrong to get the button to refuse to close the door is there? I am assuming the button is broken and needs to be replaced, unless someone tells me that this is a common problem and there is an easy fix.

Every time I open then close either of the driver side doors (haven't tried passenger yet), I hear a thumping noise coming from the trunk.
When I opened the trunk to see what it was, the noise stopped. Only with trunk closed does this happen.
Could it be air pressure causing the trunk lid to move? I didn't think the car was that air tight.
