Passat (B6) :: OEM Projector Fogs Installed But Haze On Inside Of Driver Side Housing?

I had the OEM projector fogs installed today, as well as the rear fog and Euroswitch (will post pics soon!). I love the look of the lights off just as much as on - such a great mod! My only concern is that there is some kind of haze (almost like condensation, but not) on the inside of the driver's side housing. It doesn't appear to obstruct the light, but it is clearly visible when the fogs are on. What this might be?

I'm new to Volkswagen, never had one before. Just bought my buddies 2003 GTI 20th anniversary #106. My bud install glass projector headlights, which he has the projector as his DRL's and for some reason when you release the E brake, which turns the DRL's, the projector lights on, they flicker and only the driver side stays on leaving the passenger side off. If I pull the E brake back up to turn them off and back down again it flickers on but won't stay on. Sometimes it does switch sides to where the passenger side works and the driver side doesn't but its the passenger side that mostly has the problem. Now I can continue to do this and eventually after 3 or 4 pulls of the E brake i can get them both working. I'm OCD about these little things like this and i want it to work right.

I just had my Prius retrofitted using the TRS Retro-Quik with the Morimoto Mini H1 7.0 projectors. Looks like the rotational alignment of the drivers side projector is rotated too far clockwise. Is it possible to fix the rotational alignment without taking the headlight apart again?

I have always seemed to have a moderate amount of water condensation on the glass inside the driver's side headlight. How does it get started and how do I rid myself of this small problem?

My headlights, especially the right front one, seems to have a haze inside it (them). I was wondering if VW replaced them because of this problem. I have a current CPO policy.

I've noticed my 2011 headlights have a haze on the inside of the lens. I've tried polishing the outside with many different products, and it does a good job of the outside, but you can tell there is still hazing. A pal of mine also purchased a 2011 and kept his halogen lights and his lights still look new. His vehicle isn't even garaged..

Installed coilovers last weekend, and heard a clunking on the rear drivers side. I figured i'd let it settle a week before going back and double checking everything and setting the height i wanted, but everything seems tight and it still clunks when i go over bumps.
I realize I can speculate all i want online, but I'd like possible causes before I start digging.
- top strut mount gone bad (there a way to test this?)
- top strut loose (either to the car or to the strut itself)
- springs not seated perfectly
And I have searched, but i cant find any possible solutions.

I installed my hks ssm yesterday,it sounded great except for a clunking noise every time i pass by an uneven road...i found out that the hks pipe was hitting "the round thing next to the shocks" ... that's why the oem muffler had a little round stopper.. I tried to wrap it with a little exhaust wrap thinking it would fix it but it did'nt, just wondering if there's a DIY or something for this problem.

I'm trying to figure where the coolant leak is. Appears to originate on the driver's side front, right near the thermostat housing. Since the engine tilts back the entire drivers side is wet. The thermostat gasket appears to be OK, but it does have a lot of miles on it.
If it's not the thermostat then can coolant leak from the cross over tube. And is the cross over removable without taking off the intake. There appears to be a bolt coming up from underneath on the passenger side.
Also, does coolant flow through this plastic intake. If it does, then the leak could be some where else, if not, then it's probably the thermostat.

Well, was excited to finally get these things installed and they looked and were working perfectly. Unfortunately after one hour of use, whilst pulling into the garage, the drivers side bulb just cuts out completely. Check all the wiring everything is good, the passenger side is still working perfectly, so I need to determine what the problem would be, because I pulled out the bulb and it is completely in tact.

Installed eibach springs on the 7th gen camry? I installed mine this weekend, and I'm getting a like a rubbing sound when I turn the wheel from only the driver side. I removed the strut and spring combo to make sure everything was installed and aligned properly and it was. Just can't put my finger on why its only making that sound on the driver side.

I have the 2012 sel and had hid's installed. Lets just say they dont work right and the passenger side flickers every now and then and the error code in the dash comes in and out fog lights work and now all of the sudden the passenger one doesnt work. They worked perfect the first day, my guy checked them yesterday, i left they were fine till i got back on the highway to head home and they started messing up again. We tried relay's but when car would be turned on the relay would make a sound ad if a bad ground.

I was just under my 2000 F250 7.3l crew cab truck and noticed a small diameter rubber hose dangling from my front drivers side brake housing area. It is attached near two other cables which are similar to cables on the passenger side. I don't see a similar hose on the passenger side. The hose is completely deteriorated and broke off up higher towards the engine. I cannot see where it goes. What it may be?

2010 SEL with projector headlights. Dash warning light comes on and passenger side headlights stop working - both high and low beam. Then light will go out and headlights start working. Jumps back forth and during the day between working and not working.

So it's been raining here a lot on the East Coast lately, especially in NJ and last night after getting out of work there were some few small floods I had to go through in order for me to get back home. This morning as I walked around my car to check if everything was OK I noticed that my fog's has water inside the housing. How do I go about drying them out or should I take it to the dealer and have them fix it for me.

Drivers door wont open using inside door handle. It will open using the outside handle. Door locks are functioning using key, inside door knob, and door lock buttons. Problem started this am. I tried squirting WD40 into the latch, without taking anything apart...and am thinking of removing the inside door panel and getting a better look.

I have a 2005 kia spectra that the driver side door from inside will not open. I can open from outside and use remote to unlock door. I have successfully removed the cable that was broke. I am perplexed as to what part I need to order. The cable is green in color. It is the cable that goes from the door latch to the handle on the inside, I think it is this part # not sure. Their also is a right . Their are 2 cables one is for the lock it self and the other is the door handle. I am not sure if I need the control cable.
