Phaeton :: AC Compressor Regulator Valve N280 Faulty

Its been a while as my phaeton was running fine until now. My A/C usually works fine but after few mins it blows warm air. if I turn off the car and start back in 2 mins then the A/C blows cold air again. I did the scan and it showed me "00445 - Loss of Refrigerant" so I took it the dealer for a refill. Technician checked the refrigerant pressure and it was full. I verified fuse 66 is fine. It turns out that the compressor shutdown is due to faulty regulator Valve N280. Some days the cold air is fine with out any issues but some days the problem is intermittent. so I believe I don't need to change the compressor or refill the gas. VW sells the complete compressor which includes the regulator valve. Where can I buy the regulator valve N280 separately for the correct compressor model and what is the type of compressor model in our phaeton ?

Passat (B6) :: 07 - Pressure Regulating Valve Failure

Our 2007 Passat 2.0T had the 30K service and the fuel pressure sensor and pressure regulating valve (PCV valve) recalls done several months ago. Several weeks ago the check engine light came on so we took it in to the dealer yesterday. By the way, the car also felt subtly sluggish, had a slightly unstable idle and sometimes seemed to "stick" in gear on deceleration (ie, not shift down normally).

Here are all the DTC codes that were stored:

P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0507, P2187, P2279, P3138, 02635

The service adviser said the problem was that the recall valves that VW sent them were no good (I think he said it was the -F valve) and that they now have an updated valve.

The new part number is 06F-129-101-K

By the way, our Passat is driven "conservatively," ie, no high boost levels or anything else that would stress the PCV valve.

Passat (B5) :: 1999 - Location Of Oil Pressure Sensor?

My in-dash sensor is going off, beeping three times, flashing for three more, then off. Oil level is fine. I am unsure about how to check oil pressure, and am interested in determining if the sensor is bad. How do I go about doing this? (1.8T, 1999).....

Passat (B5) :: Low Oil Pressure - Valve Rattle / Rough Idle

I Have a 2000 Passat 30 valve v6. I got a low oil pressure message figured I could make it to the store for some oil. Well I turn a corner and heard a valve rattle and the car started to idle rough. I was two quarts low but the noise and the rough idle still exist. In neutral the noise is not noticeable. Driving the noise is only noticeable at high RPM. The car doesn't smoke and otherwise runs fine.

Ford Fuel System :: Location Of Check Valve That Maintains Fuel Pressure On The System?

I have a '99 E-350 6.8L. Where is the check valve that maintains fuel pressure on the system?

I have been experiencing a starting issue when the engine is hot. Cold starts are usually fine. I've replaced the in-tank fuel pump (pump only, not the assembly) to no avail. I was out of town and didn't have access to a fuel pressure gauge when the problem started so I couldn't say what I had prior to replacing the pump. But now, with a new pump, when I check pressure, I get about 40 psi when I first cycle the key on, but it drops right back to zero as soon as the pump shuts off. If I cycle the key on a few times, sometimes I can get it to hold pressure at about 32 psi, and it starts fine. When I shut if off, it goes back to zero psi, sometimes gradually, like a bleed down, and sometimes immediately.

My conclusion from this was that the check valve was bad. I was told it was part of the in tank fuel pump assembly. Since I didn't replace the entire assembly, this made sense. So I just dropped the tank back down, but I don't see anything as part of the pump assembly that serves as a check valve. There is a rubber nipple on the end of the return line, but I don't see how that can hold any significant pressure.

So, before I go out and spend another couple hundred bucks on the complete fuel pump assembly, which apparently can't be purchased without the actual pump, I thought I'd ask. Where is the check valve that holds the pressure in the fuel system?

BTW, I also have replaced the fuel rail pressure regulator, but it made no difference (I went there first since that was much easier than dropping the fuel tank a second time).

Passat (B6) :: Tire Pressure Sensor Broke Off At The Valve Stem

We have a 2007 Passat. The tire pressure sensor broke off at the valve stem. In checking with the dealer, I was told the tire pressure sensor and valve stem are all one unit. My question is if you can use a regular valve stem and attach the sensor to it, or do you have to get the entire unit with the valve stem and sensor together.

Integra :: Fuel Pressure Regulator Is Bad

I have a 2000 Integra and now that it's cold I have a hard time starting it.The battery will run down before it starts.I replaced the plugs and it started right up.They were gas soaked.But again after sitting for awhile in the cold it wont start.Once I get it running and warmed up it runs great.Once it's running can pinch the fuel return line and it will shut down.Is this normal?It seems to be sending a lot of gas back to the tank.I think the fuel pressure regulator may be bad.I dont have afuel pressure guage to check the pressure but reading articles on the web about not starting and when it does start it bucks and dies I think the regulator is bad.

Golf IV R32 :: Fuel Pressure Regulator Leaking After Taking It Off?

I took my fuel pressure regulator off hoping it would get to my green top coolant temp sensor. It doesn't Now when I put it back on its leaking? I didn't depressurize the fuel line first. Can this be the cause? If so do I just open the gas cap, pull the fuse for the fuel pump, and then re-insert the fuel pressure regulator? or do I need to get new O-rings for the regulator?

Golf VI R :: Code P2293 - Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Performance

I've been having this code come up for a couple weeks now off and on. Currently I am stage 2 Giac. I have the autotech HPFP upgrade and was installed a couple months ago. Recently It threw the code and lasted for a couple days then went away. I notice that if i get on it pretty hard for a while the code will come back, im guessing due to lack of fuel. I pulled the fuel pump and checked the cam follower and it looks almost good as new still. Thought it would be the sensor but doesn't seem like it as the CEL turns off after a while of not getting on it.

Buick - Century :: Vacuum Leak To Fuel Pressure Regulator

I have a 1992 Buick Century with a 3.3L V6. I noticed a hissing sound under the hood with the motor running. The short vacuum hose (about 2 inches) connected at the fuel pressure regulator was loose and leaking. I shut the engine, remove the end of the hose and a little gas (about a teaspoon) came out of the vacuum pipe for awhile and then it stopped.

I tightened (but did not overtighten) the end of the hose with a nylon wire tie. There was no existing clamp on it. The vacuum leak stopped (no more hissing). Now, the car is sometimes hard to start or restart. Do I have a serious problem? Did I do the right thing? Could this be caused by a clogged fuel filter? (it was changed 42000 miles ago).
