What this part is called? or where I could find a replacement? I just noticed my left blinker looks like the chrome ring came off at some point? def doesn't look nice and shiney like the right side, speedometer or tach chrome circle gauge trims.

View 6 RepliesI've got an '07 2.0T MT6 Sport with about 18,000 miles. The round chrome trim ring on the fan speed control knob of the Climatronic panel came loose yesterday. This is the piece between the rotating knob and the two buttons in the center. It's now sticking out a little from the knob and is rattling around.
Is there a way to pop this back on easily? It doesn't look like it's going to fall off completely, but I can't find a way to put it back either. Obviously it should be covered under warranty, but I'd like to avoid a trip to the dealer if there's an easy DIY fix.
The interior trim pieces that are located where the ceiling intersects with the door are falling out. I tried using Gorilla glue to hold them in place but the heat keeps melting it. If I order the new part from the dealer is the trim easy to install myself?
View 3 RepliesThe trim that goes around the windows, etc. I looked at the topics on detailing in the FAQ and didn't see this mentioned in them. My trim has water marks on it from water drying on it after the detailers at the lot cleaned the car before I picked it up Friday. I am hoping to get the car all cleaned up and a good sealant and wax put on it before I start heading to Colorado for skiing in about a month.
Anyways, that trim is driving me nuts because every kind of metal polisher, cleaner, etc. I find on the detailing sites says to keep it off painted surfaces which I think would be about impossible since that strip is about 1cm wide and runs right along painted body panels.
My main question is since I don't like the chrome on my windows and I am getting visors what are my option. Is it common to just put the clip ins and leave the chrome or do what i have been reading which is to black out your chrome? If i put the 3m typed style visors do i go right on top of the chrome or not and if not how do i go about blacking that out? Which brand 3m stick on visors recommended for the darkest color and slickest look?

How can I take the below door chrome trim off? I started wrapping one in 5d carbon fiber and I am about to take it off and start again. It would be so much easier if i could snap these off.
View 13 RepliesTrying to find a local shop here that will wrap my chrome trim around my grill. I had one shop tell me that they would have to section the grill near the top and that it couldn't be wrapped in one piece. I was shown an example and it was terrible, the overlay line was way too visible. I went to another shop today that said they could wrap it in one piece but I would need to take the trim piece off and bring it to them first. Any close pics of grill trim I could use as a reference.

View 7 RepliesI've got a 2003 camry LE/V6. The interior trim fabric to the right and left of the rear window is curling back on the trim panel away from the glass. This has been happening slowly over a year or so and now has reached a point of requiring repair. I've searched the site, but haven't found anything directly related. These panels appear to be separate from the headliner and the rear window shelf. How these panels come out? If these snap into clips and can be removed, I might be able to match fabric closely enough to be OK.
View 2 RepliesBought our Impreza January 2015. Not long after, we noticed that the driver's side armrest had deep dimpling, like pock marks, and the arm rest in the centre had a deep indentation across it. Almost as if it had been hit with an axe.
After much complaining by us, Subaru reluctantly agreed to repair the problem areas, and did. Now the problem is back and they are saying that it is our fault. There is nothing wrong on the passenger side and my husband and I both drive the car.
Just got my 2012 Prius. The interior plastic trim squeaks when pressed by hand/knee or during cornering and bumps. I'm talking about the center console and flying bridge thing, door panels, ect. I'm in the process of upgrading speakers and adding limit amounts of sound deadener. I thought about adding silicon grease on the plastic tabs that hold the plastic together....does that sound like a good idea. The main offender is the arm rest console box.

I also realized that the left side turn indicator (blinker) light is not working and when I popped it out I saw the wires were chewed up, I am not sure what happened. Do you think I need to remove the wheel well liner to try to access that area? What to do?
View 14 RepliesI have a 98 f150 4x4, 4.6L 150k miles, during start up the blinker indicator lights on the dash illuminated and stayed on, when trying the blinkers they did not work, but if I shut the head lights off the blinkers do work and indicators respond normally. This is the same if I turn the fan blower on, blinkers don't work and indicators stay illuminated. Also I have found that the power windows, and 4wd no longer work. Other functions work such as power mirror, radio etc. all fuses under the dash and under the hood are good, I tried switching some of the relays to see if that changed anything but with no success . took the kick panel off and inspected the grounds and all seem tight. It looks like the main battery ground is just to the body and there is one solid ground from the frame to the body under the cab. all seem tight and don't appear to be corroded. Truck starts and runs great.
