Passat (B5) :: Light Above Driver Visor Stays On

For about 2 weeks now when I turn my 2001.5 Passat off, the little light above the driver visor comes on. It only turns off when I put the visor back up. It never did this before and doesn't do it on the passenger side. Can I just disconnect that light? what was also strange was that if I didn't put the visor back up (turning the light off) a clicking sound would come from the instrument cluster and the cluster lights would flicker. But when I put the visor back up the clicking and flickering stopped.

Sunroof drains? I just had a new windshield installed a few weeks ago. But I have not had a problem until today. Everything was fine until I tilted the sunroof and when hitting the brakes coming to stops. Water would run in thru/by the visor hinge.

My driver side sun visor has gotten incredibly creaky for some reason even though I don't use it very often. I don't know what's inside so I'm unsure on the lubricant to use.

My 2009 tig got a rattle on the driver side sun visor its minor but since its in my face id like to take care of it. When it gets above zero I plan to take a look to see if something can be done.

There is an annoying rattle in my driver's side sun visor, it makes noise all the time, coming from inside of it. I'm wondering if it's covered by the warranty.

I noticed that my sun visor when placed on the side where the window is wobbles like crazy on the road. I asked the dealer about it and they said I would have to purchase a new one even though the car is under factory extended warranty.. they said they don't warranty parts used by the customer.. I then told them I never moved the passenger side and when I moved it over to the window it was wobbly too, so it came that way from the factory. They said they will look into it but prob wont get a call back. Its bad when going down the freeway and you hit some small dips in the road.

2006 Azera air bag light stays on all the time in the speedo cluster panel when I start the car. Is it a fuse problem, sensor problem etc? Is it covered under the recent recall?

I have a 2001 Chevy S10 4.3L. The CHECK GAUGES light stays on, and the oil pressure gauge stays at 0. The oil is full, and the engine runs and sounds fine. I drove it about 5 miles with no change. Up until now, the gauge has worked normally. Could it be the sending unit?

I have a 2000 B5 . It has minor damage front and rear (cosmetic only). Also, the check engine light stays on due to a vacuum leak somewhere between the MAF and the intake manifold. It would need a full paint job at some point after the body work was completed.

Over the past 2 days I drove without the center of the steering wheel in place because I was in the middle of removing the turn signal arm - I had to wait until I found a T55 torque bit for removing the steering nut. Anyway, the I installed a new turn-signal arm and re-assembled the steering wheel and such. Even after reconnecting the airbag I'm still getting an airbag light on my instrument cluster. Is this a fault code that needs to be reset from the dealer? I know I plugged all the connectors correctly - only one way to do it.

I just bought a second hand passat tdi se,1999, and need some pointers on a couple of problems/faults,the first is when I start up I get a beep and the temp light stays on until the car has warmed up, the second is no matter what I do I cant seem to get the blowers going, this model has the climate control and I was wondering if I am having a blond moment and missing the obvious or whether it's a fuse etc.

This seems to happen a lot when it gets really cold out. Started happening a few weeks ago. Sometimes if I notice the light starts to flicker on, at a stoplight I'll open the door, push down the rubber button that triggers the light, and shut the door. It'll usually stay off for a little bit.
I noticed that there's a little dent on the door where it presses against the button, and I'm wondering if that's a possible reason why this issue is happening.

2014 RX 350 F Sport Passenger side sun visor light not working properly. Have ordered visor 4 times in as many months from dealer and still no visor. Parts department says there are none to be had on their computer.

Vehicle: 2002 f250 xlt 7.3 powerstroke reg. Cab
Issue: door ajar light stays on, power locks on driver and passenger door don't work, radio stays on after truck is off an door is opened.
Events leading up to issue: went to temporarily hook up a wolo dixie horn to see if it worked. Wanted to do it fast so I took + cable, tied one end to the battery terminal and then connected other end to dixie horn relay. I then grounded both negative wires to the truck. One ground on the frame the other I temporarily wrapped around a one of factory ground mounts under the dash. Immediately after doing this the problems stated above started.
How can I fix this. I need to fix this by tomorrow. I have a guy from Craigslist coming to look at the truck. Now the 4x4 issue.
Truck has zf6 manual and the electric 4wd select ****. Just thought I'd list this if it was needed to be known for solutions.
4x4 high light stays on in while 2wd all the time. 4 low will stay on after switching back to 4 high and 2wd but it goes out if I ether stop the truck shut it off then restart it. or back up and slam on the brakes. Also when in 4 high the front driveshaft won't spin. However It will spin when in 4 low.
Another random issue I'd thought I'd just list while I'm writing this.... Cruise control does not work. And when I press the "on" button and the "coast" button at the same time the horn honks.

I own a 2006 2.0T FSI Passat. "auto". A few weeks ago i was switching out my interior dome lights for cosmetics. I had 5 of 6 installed and while putting in the last bulb, all my dome lights went out along with the visor lights and trunk lights. I'm pretty good when it come to electronics but just can't seem to find the problem.
Fuses are ok
Lights are ok
But somewheres between the fuse box and the lights there is something wrong.

When I have the mirror tilt feature active for both mirrors(left switch position) the driver side mirror does not return to the preset position. The passenger side works fine but I have to manually reposition the driver side so I know it is not in the mechanism, it seems it is not sensing the transmission in drive but only on the driver side. How hard is it to replace the faulty sensor or whatever the failed part?

My drivers side reverse light went out. I replaced bulb and nothing, swapped the housing connectors and still nothing, checked fuses and fuses are OK..... Spoke to dealer and they said its HID (plug and play) related.... If I trace the reverse light harness, where it runs from and to so that I can rule that out as well....I haven't modded trunk lights.

I have an '03 Passat GLX Sedan. My driving/fog light is out on the drivers side. How to take off the bottom plastic grill and access the driving light? I think it is just a bulb. However, if I need a whole new light, any recommendation for both the bulb and the whole assembly.

2001 Passat 1.8T ... The switch is in the correct position and the light comes on when the passenger door is opened. What causes the light to activate? I cannot find a switch anywhere on the door frame. Maybe a magnetic switch in the door?
