I have an 07 2.0T B6. over the last few days I have had a terrible time with my car. First PRNDS all were illuminated(implausible signal fault), then it started missing (open ground). Those 2 faults went away but two days later it stalls. First the display read parking break fault. it then added dipped beam fault. it then added EPC fault and it will not turnover. The vehicle is responding as if the battery has died, but everything is powered and the battery shows 85%...

I get home from a business trip today and the wife picks me up in someone elses car. Why? Because the turn signals on her 2002 Passat went out. None of them work.
When you push the signal lever the arrow lights up exactly one time, you hear the familiar turn signal click exactly one time and then nothing....nada...zip.
I just got in a while ago so I haven't had any time to begin checking fuses. I'll look at it in the morning when I've got some light.

While I was driving this morning, I noticed that my turn signal was not staying on. Basically it would blink once and then go out. No ticking either. Seems like some kind of short. The hazard light blinks but with an irregular pattern.

In my new to me 05 B5 we have a problem with the turn signals. When turning right the signal works fine but once you return straight and the lever returns to center the relay or something in the center console continues to cycle for 2-4 cycles afterwards. Also, if on cruise, and you activate the left turn to pass, it kicks off the cruise. I suspect it's either the lever or the slip ring on the column (if it has one like my 96 Passat).

I have a problem with the Bold-Sport camera, but am not sure if it is the radio, the camera, or even possibly a fuse. I get a fault code with vcds that says the rvc control module intermittent/no signal. Once I clear the code, and put my car in reverse with the headlights on, the camera does not work, or works for a second, and shuts off. If i turn the exterior lights off, the camera seems to function normally. As soon as I turn exterior lights back on, camera no longer displays again. I have been having some problems with the rns-510, so am assuming it could be the radio, but am not too sure. The problem I have with the radio is that sometimes not all the interior light hard buttons light up. I will post up a pic as soon as I can.

It is a pretty simple problem, but on a few occasions the "clicking" noise that goes along with the turn signal blinking will not stop after turning off the signal. It does not click at the normal cadence. It erratically clicks on and off and will continue to do so for 3-5 minutes. Neither the turn signals nor the indicator lights blink, but the clicking continues in the dash. Turning the signals back on puts the clicking into normal speed, but once the signal is turned off it goes back to crazy speed. It only happens once every couple months, but it is really annoying.

It starts to doing it this afternoon. Whenever I use the left/right signal, the signal light would blink once, and then went out. car is a B5.5 with no sunroof.

I just got a 2003 1.8T Passat about a week ago. I have already installed a new HU and put some subs in it. I haven't really had the chance to test the headlights while driving because I haven't driven after dark since I got the car. When I used the headlights today some strange things were happening.
When the headlights are turned on the right signal comes on and stays on until the headlights are turned off and doesn't pulse. If I try to use the right signal while it is stuck on it makes the indicator clicking noise once then the noise stops but the light stays solid the whole time.
If the headlights are off and I try use the right signal the signal works fine but the instrument lighting pulses with the signal and I assume I haven't noticed this because driven only in the light I probably just never noticed.
The left signal behaves completely as it should as far as I know in all conditions. The hazard lights are also behaving oddly but I'm thinking it's because of the problem with the right signal.

It makes a noise as if I have my turn signal on, although when the turn signal aren't on, the ticking sound continues. I replaced the whole unit, and it did not fix it. My Dad says it has to be a bad Turn Signal Relay, but where do I find one in my car? How will i know that it's that? Is there a diagram of relays anywhere online?

I drove to the mall and left the car there, when I was done and tried starting, it fired up but the rpms started to fall and CEL came on. CEL are:
-16497 P0113 050 Intake air temperature sender-G42 Signal too high
-16486 P0102 050 Air mass meter-G70 signal too low
And after it died it cranks but never fires up. I called the dealership trying to find out where the IAT sensor is but they said it's in the manifold and not sure where. Where is IAT sensor?

Is there any way to disable the clicking sound made when the turn signal is on?

So I'm at a momentary loss for what's wrong. My wife's '02 Passat GLX is not getting a signal from the outdoor ambient temp sensor. Both her cluster and climate control display show "--" and I've replaced the sensor, cleaned the connector and done a brief outside inspection of the wiring from their to the engine bay harness which all looks fine... In the cars defense, were the second owners, it's been dealer maintained and is in immaculate condition so there is no oil soaked or ghetto hacked wiring, period..

I've blown my turn signal fuse for 3 times until the relay burned out. Now I have had cleaned turn signal switch (with CC) from all of the old stuff in there and replaced hazard switch. But it happens again! After 5 minutes driving, both fuses (7,5 AMP for turn signals and 15 AMP hazard) blown out. I'm afraid there are some shorts in wirings.
I'm looking for the wiring diagrams or any other users experience in this matter... Where shall I start from?
There was a water leakage behind and under drivers seat. I removed trims etc. to lift the carpet to take the Comfort Module for checking as there were some weird thing in overall car electric systems (central locking, saloon lightnings, electric windows and dropping gauges on instrument panel. I found a small amount of water in container, where the module is placed, but on the electric parts weren't any water marks... Also it's impossible to connect to the CCM via vag-com.

a friend has a 1999 passat and recently, the left turn signal has ceased to work. I searched and found that the hazard switch/relay commonly goes bad and can cause the signals to fail. It seems though, that in most cases reported on vortex, BOTH signals stop working, and sometimes the hazards too, or they will erratically flash giving a warning before the relay dies. This is not the case with this car. Driver side signal only.

So I had to replace a front ten signal bulb the other day and with almost no pressure, one of the small plastic tabs on the bulb socket broke off when I was trying to seat the new bulb into the headlight housing. The plastic socket looks like it's own piece that's removable from the wiring harness, but my dealer tells me it comes as a kit with the whole headlight housing and I'd have to replace the whole thing.

My turn signal relay clicking and stuttering randomly. When turn or warning signal used it operates normally with absolutely no problem and sounds healthy. But when not used and supposed to be quite - it goes again. When stuttering - there is absolutely no indication other than clicking sound that something is wrong.

I see a lot of VW Passat 2006 who have the turn signal lights on all the time, like this. How do I get them like that?

This seems a little odd, but I noticed that the right turn signal blinks much faster than the left turn signal. Is that a VW thing or does that indicate some other issue?

I have a 2001 new passat glx 4 motion, the front blinker bulb on the passenger side went out due to a hit-n-run, I went to a body shop and the ppl there said they need to take the frot bumper and the headlight out to reach the blinker bulb, and it requires about 1 hour on labor which means 90 bucks, that sounds pretty expensive for just a dead bulb.

2000 B5: new front rotors & pads 3000 miles previous. Now on sharp turns L or R the dash signal 'check discs' appears. Always resets upon restarts. Can be triggered by reversing the vehicle and bumps. Turns less than 90 degrees are usually not a problem. Both front wheels were pulled; no apparent wiring or connector problems. Any quick fixes? How to disconnect this electronic aide? and avoid the irritating "beep". I drive very low miles / year and know how to monitor brake wear.
