Passat (B5) :: Engine Light Beeping Randomly

The light in my wife's 03 Passat keeps coming on and beeping...the car will not "act up" when we take it to the dealership ( under warranty ) and they claim to have cleaned the O2 sensors. It never fails, she drives it home from the dealership and the CEL comes on and beeps a few times once she has driven about 10 minutes. Car runs great, but we don't know if it's hurting gas mileage.

First, my g/f and I love her 2.0T, but lately a few things have started to bother us.
1. Strange, rhythmic squeeling at low speeds (like a bearing or warped rotors) that goes away when the brakes are applied.
2. Driver's seat is rocking back and forth under heavy acceleration and braking. I hope it's just a loose bolt and not a crack in the floorpan.
3. Check engine light randomly comes on for a day or two then goes off conveniently after we schedule an appointment with the service department.
What might be causing these issues?

Ok my friend has a 2000 passat v6 with 120k and as soon as he starts the car the abs light comes on with the oil light and beeps. It goes away for a minute or two and just repeats bringing up the oil light and abs then beeping any info to what this could...

My wife's 1998 Passat's ABS and Brake lights both comes on along with that beeping buzzer. Everything is norm from start up, but after driving about 10 miles or so the ABS/brake light& buzzer show starts up.
It seems the ABS is working because my wife found a patch of sand in a parking lot and jammed on the brakes while the ABS/brake light& buzzer show was going on. She said she could feel the brakes pumping.
We took it in to the dealer and they check the brake pads and sensors. They said that the sensors and pads were ok. They thought it might have been dirty sensor, so they clean them.
Two days later the ABS/brake light& buzzer show came back. But this time my brakes squeal a little if you press on the brake lightly. (cleaning solution got on the brakes?) Also how big a deal is it installing a new ABS black box ? (where is it?)

I have a 1999 vw passat and i have the abs light on all the time ( was told its the abs module)? Brake light flashing too but i am really only concerned about the beeping sound i get 80% of the time after i come to a stop and accelerate then oil pressure light comes on and it beeps 3 times and goes away til i stop again????? What is making the car beep?

So my girlfriends passat is starting to have some problems. It looks like a light show on the dash. When driving it, every now and then (a lot more now) the tach goes dead, and the oil and brake light flash, and it starts beeping. The car also has a ABS light on but that has been on for a long time.
So far I've checked both the oil and brake fluid levels, and checked all the fuses. Everything is good there. It just seems funny that they all go at once. I figure maybe one of the plugs to the cluster is loose giving everything a zero reading? I need to buy a vag cable and software some time that's for sure.

I am having issues with 2015 sonata sport. My car alarm has been going off randomly as well as lights flashing/beeping as if I was pushing lock button on key fob. I am not pushing any buttons and sometimes it will happen when The key fob is in my hand and I know I'm not pressing any buttons. When it does happen the little red light will flash on the key fob. I've tried using other key fob and have same issues with both. Also I have had to change the battery in both key fobs about 8 times thus far and I've only had the car a little over a year.
It does not happen all the time and I know if I take it in, my luck the car wont do it and they will tell me they don't see anything wrong. Sometimes the buttons wont work to unlock/lock the car and after a few minutes the car will beep and lights flash on their own and I will be able to then lock/unlock car again. This is getting very frustrating and it has become an annoyance for me and I'm sure my neighbors as well. I even will have people I work with come in and tell me my alarm is going off during my work shift.

I have a 2001 Passat wagon V6 with 4 motion, and the generator light keeps coming on randomly while driving. When it comes on, the power steering stops working. Once I turn off and on the car, the light goes out and the car runs normally again. I have replaced the serpentine belt, tensioner and pulleys, and they are all fine.

I had the battery checked. Good battery. No codes via regular obd 2 scanner.
2002 passat B5.5 1.8t 5speed.
2x while stopped downhill it shutdown.
Also sometimes has hard starts.
when that happens I get the EPC light light up.
cel is on anyway from p0420 (cat)
If I shut it down and turn it on, maybe after 2-3 tries itll come on. What could it be?

My engine light randomly popped up. Brought it to a shop, got scanned and cleared. A few days later, light came back on. From the scan, these two things popped up

cars a bmp 20th with 181km on it (around 111000 miles i think lol)
Also, how could i tell if my car has an aftermarket LSD, cause the PO claimed to have put in a quaife LSD. also, how could i tell if its chipped other than scanning it?

Prior to the most recent issue with our car the "service engine" light would randomly come on and off. Last week during a cold snap, my husband went into D&D and when he came out the car would not start. Triple A came, said it was the original battery and replaced it.
Then, the next day, he had a dead car after just having driven it, towed it, and the garage did a "hard reset" of electrical system. He drove it no prob for 1 day.
Then, it did not start after sitting in our driveway over night. The car would whirr when the key was turned, lights would go on, but would not start. The garage has done a electrical diag x2 with no leads. They are now going to replace the fuel pump. This seems like a huge leap. However, they said, when they "manually" tried to start the fuel pump it was dead...

I have a 2001 Ford Focus ZX3 (2D Hatchback) that has been randomly stalling since we bought it. There is no engine light, the dealership couldn't get it to stall and just gave it back. Another garage got it to stall and thought it might be the "idle-oxygen sensor" (not sure if I'm remembering the name correctly), but that didn't stop it from stalling either.
My wife is ready to dump it, but even spending a couple thousand a year on repairs is less than the grand total of a year's payments on a new car, insurance, etc. But it would be nice to fix it.

Ive got a '94 ranger with the 8 plugs and more often than not while driving and sometimes when it first starts, the cel comes on and immediately I notice a lil rough running and lack of power. Also my milage has dropped since this has started. Plugs, wires, o2 sensors, not to familiar with my gas saver. I love it cause I can just get in it and go. With twice the fuel milage as my bi truck!

I randomly started throwing a couple codes that have been causing my "check engine" light to come on ... came on on my way into work this morning) . I know that the P0683 code is the Glow Plug Ctrl Module to PCM Comm Circuit (from my code reader), but I am not sure what to do next ... I have the dealer service DVD from 2002 that I will look at this weekend....

So yesterday I get a call from my wife that our Passat flashed the low oil warning and starting beeping. She was only 2 blocks from the house, so she made it home and she said the alarm stopped.
When I get home, I checked the oil and the dipstick was bone-dry! I needed to add 2.5qts of Mobil1 0w-40 (VW 502/505). I then checked underneath the car and I saw oil residue all over most of the components on the front passenger-side of the car. I started the car for a few minutes and checked for any obvious leaks or drips - didn't find any. This morning, I checked again for any leaks - nothing on the ground at least.
What it could be? Could it be as simple as the dealer not torquing the drain plug correctly? Probably can't be the filter housing since that's up front, right?

So my wife was driving our '10 escape xlt and the engine light came on and it displayed the 'check engine' message on the screen. It has 86500 miles and luckily no problems yet. The only thing that has changed was she accidentally put super premium gas in it the other day. The light came on and after she drove it home (about 10-12 miles) and it sat for a few hours and i drove it about 20 miles it randomly went off while it was idling.
I shut it off and let it sit for 20 minutes and then let it idle for a few and it never came back. It has been running ok. We definitely drive it a lot as she works day shift and i work nights. I'm just trying to make sure there's nothing wrong with it. I got a bulletin a while back about the intake getting moisture in it. I didn't know if maybe this could be the beginning of this or something else. This is a whole new territory for me as i consider my 91 f250 'new'

Just had my lexus dealership do the ELF recall. While it was in there I had them check to see why my check vsc light comes on randomly which sets off the check engine light.
They came back and told me that my water pump is leaking, what are the future problems of a leaking water pump?
They said the check vsc light is coming on, in their words is "found center y pipe, gaskets leaking at front pipe, may still need to replace converter pipe." So what does that mean and what do I need to do?

So after installing my JoeZ axle back for about 5k miles I noticed there was an issue. The check engine light was going on but turning off randomly. I finally decided to take the car to the dealer for them to check out. So what the dealer said is that the JoeZ exhaust "direct bolt-on bolts" restricted flexibility and caused leaks in the front cats. He said that the stock exhaust screws had the springs on it to allow flexibility when hitting dips/potholes. With that said, He recommended switching the front two gaskets and using the stock "spring screws."
I was wondering, encountered this problem with the bolts that came with the JoeZ axle back? I bought the JoeZ off a user here and it came with bolts, which i assumed came with the exhaust when it was purchased new. Not even sure if the bolts he gave me was correct, or if i just made the mistake of not using stock bolts.
