I was driving to work this morning and my ESP light came on, but wouldn't turn off... I just finished getting my window regulator fixed, so I am really not ready for another repair just yet. Can I continue to drive the car with the light on?

View 10 RepliesBought new tires for car. the original tires that came with the car were 16s. i bought her some 18s awhile back and got the tires installed. In the door jam the tires PSI are supposed to be 33psi, but then again tha'ts for 16" rims. well i was slowly bumping up the pressure in each tire and got all the way to 40psi and the light is still on in the dash. What am I doing wrong for this sensor not to turn off. I know 40psi is too much, I am going to let some out but I am getting frustrated with this light on the dash.

But I found that the front light is always turned on even in day time, and on my dash board, there are only two mode of light: "0": which will turn on the DRL(day running light); and the other is to turn on the night light on both the dash board and front light. How to turn off the day running light (DRL) to save some battary?

When I turn AC on the engine beginnings to work funny, RPMs jumping up and down, feel like engine doesn't get enough air (or gets too much). I was told to replace ignition coils. I replaced them all but the problem didn't go away. Even actually one of the coils pups up a little bit all the time.

They use to come and go now they're just gone. The cd player and everything lights up but the a/c quit all together last night.
View 14 RepliesOver the past 2 days I drove without the center of the steering wheel in place because I was in the middle of removing the turn signal arm - I had to wait until I found a T55 torque bit for removing the steering nut. Anyway, the I installed a new turn-signal arm and re-assembled the steering wheel and such. Even after reconnecting the airbag I'm still getting an airbag light on my instrument cluster. Is this a fault code that needs to be reset from the dealer? I know I plugged all the connectors correctly - only one way to do it.

View 2 RepliesWe have already dumped $800 into this problem at the dealership. I should have just come here, to begin with. Here's what happens. When we make a long turn at around 40 mph the engine will cut out and the wheel slippage light comes on. The wheels are not slipping and this only occurs during long slow turns. Very odd... The dealership has no idea and has already ripped me off once.
View 10 RepliesI need detailed instructions for how to replace the right (passenger's side) rear turn signal bulb socket and the subassembly that holds the remaining bulbs and inserts into the tail light assembly. I've done this once before successfully but now can't seem to make it work now.
Without the subassembly inserted and locked into place with its locking tabs, the turn signal bulb locks into place in its socket, and that socket in turn easily inserts and locks into place in the hole in the outboard corner of the lens through the rear of the lens assembly. However, I can't seem to install both the turn signal bulb in its socket and the subassembly that holds the rest of the bulbs. The two contacts on the underside of the rim of the turn signal bulb socket would indicate that that the socket installs after the subassembly, but then it has nothing to plug into. When it's installed first, I don't see how the bulb would be energized.
The owner's manual of course says to have the dealer handle maintenance in this area.
The tail lights do not turn off- the head lights do not turn on. every fuse was pulled and still the tail lights stayed on. Headlight switch was swapped out with a new one to eliminate it with no different result. No modifications known to have been made to the electrical system. This thing did spend a lot of time in NY state, so corrosion is likely. But this does not explain how/why the tail lights would stay on even if the headlight switch was off... IMO this would have to be an ignition switch issue.

If you turn left while driving it goes off, turn right it goes on, move the wheel left and right you can make it a disco light on and off. I have had two code readers on this car and there are no engine codes. Im in California so it cant pass emissions test with any engine light despite the fact there are not codes.

View 4 RepliesComing back from a trip I got a e-brake light show up on the dash then noticed the signals stopped working and the heated seats no longer turn on. I scanned it with my AE and got a brake fluid sensor error come up but nothing about the signals .... is this a common problem or is there a connection between all this? 2003 F350 6.0L .....
