View 7 RepliesI know that with the 1992 model year Celica the air box was changed a little (basically got a little bigger) and I think this coincided with the introduction of the rev2 5SFE (not sure though). I have a 92 with the rev2 5S but have the airbox from a 91 (with a K&N though, found it at the junkyard, score!).
View 2 RepliesBasically I would like to know the following:
Suspension differences between Gen 5 LE/XLE (do they even use the same suspension) vs. Gen 6 LE/XLE.
And also Gen 5 SE vs. Gen 6 SE, are there any significant suspension/handling differences between both generations? My dad used to have a Gen 7 Hybrid, he now has a 2013 Avalon Limited Hybrid.
I know the Gen 7 has a better driving experience than the gen 5, because my mom has a gen 7 hybrid XLE. What I want to know is if the suspension is quite different from gen 5 to 6.
Im new to this modification game but im very eager to get started. I have a 2010 LE and am kind of put off that a majority of parts seem to be made for the S model, the only differences I know between the LE and S is looks am I wrong? And are there any aftermarket Head Units with a screen that are reliable and not cheap looking or feeling? Also I haven't really seen a definite answer on whether coil overs or springs are better for a drop?
View 3 RepliesI've seen a copy of the order guide, and I still can't figure out what the differences between 2015 and 2016 GTIs is going to be. Maybe I'm not reading it correctly, but it doesn't look much, if any different.
View 4 RepliesCurious? Looking for if the generation 4 Prius' has less road noise and better acceleration?
My generation 3 is quite noisy inside.
Long story short is that I need to replace the 5 speed transmission in my 2002 AWP Jetta. I believe it has the EHA transmission in it from the factory, but what are the differences between the different transmission codes? Better question, can I swap any O2J transmission into my Jetta?
View 1 RepliesI thought I had come across a chart here that showed you the different spring ratings and the expected height change difference from stock, for each engine option.
View 7 RepliesAre there any significant differences between a 2004 and 2005 in build or quality that would/should one to chose the 2005 model? (the 2004 I am looking at is a very low mileage car that has all the options I would otherwise want)..
View 6 RepliesLooking for pictures of the differences between the track bar brackets from 05-07 vs 08-10?
I'm finding lots of conflicting info online, some saying 05-16 are the same, 05-10 are the same 05-07 are the same, ect.....
So what is the year breaks and difference between them all?
How can one tell? V6 heated seats, 16" wheels. Seams like its a glx? Are there more options between the 2?
View 7 RepliesMy cel came on yesterday so I immediately took it to get scanned the problem is that my fuel air mixture is running to rich or I have a faulty cc will getting the code cleared solve my problems or what needs to be done to solve the problem....
View 5 RepliesI only get 265 miles each tank. I should get at least 300 miles. I have a clean air filter, new plugs, ran injector cleaner through, no check engine light.
View 24 RepliesHave a 2003 Passat GLX wagon and the daytime run lights and low beams will not come on. High beams and fog lights work. Have changed fuses and bulbs with no result. Wire harnesses appear in good shape. 56,XXX miles. Still have a 2000 GLX with 165,XXX and never experienced this before.
View 5 RepliesI have a 9 year old 1.8T Passat '98. Recently i have had problems with the car alarm going off by itself. I have to use the keyless entry to unlock and lock the car to shut it off. But 30 minutes later it does it again on its own.
View 3 RepliesOn my 2001 B5.5 V6 4motion, the recall includes the fuel tank vent valve. Sometimes it will give a hard time...it wants to crank, but just won't turn over and it may take a few times like that before it will actually turn over and start the car...and occasionally it will turn over but only has very low RPMs and you have to turn it off. Also, we have been getting the misfire in cylinder 4 code. I have a new fuel filter to put on, but i don't think that is part of the prob.
View 1 RepliesOn my 2006 Passat the headliner comes apart. I talked to my dealer and contacted VWoA 3 times. They claim that it is not a manufacturing issue. I was surprised, because as I saw pictures of 2006 Jetta's in the vwvortex forum where VW covered exact the same problem 100% or at least 75%. The dealer want to repair it and not replace it. I wonder if this is any good, because there are several locations where the headliner is sagging.

So I just got new ST's last week. My rear drop ended up less than 2" at the lowest setting. I know KW's go low. Here are some pictures of the drop and coils. How to get lower?
View 12 RepliesSo my car is almost one year old, and I just hit 32k miles. (I drive 4 hours home quite often) Anywho, I just got a CEL today, and I am due for an inspection next month. The dealership offers free inspections in VA for life, but I find it pretty coincidental that I got the light now.
View 3 RepliesA couple months ago,I was getting moisture in my car. It was noticeable in the morning on the front and rear windows. Now I found mildew under the driver side floor mat. I have no clue where the water is coming in to cause this problem. All seals are tight, and I do not have a sunroof.
View 4 RepliesSo I am getting ready to leave my brother in laws house today I start my 2003 passat 1.8t up. like I always do to warm up it up before leaving. and I get a air bag fault light that turned on and would not go away after I turn it off and on again.
