Can dealership diagnostic tools read ABS/ASR fault codes, or if those codes are even stored?

I have followed the process for clearing and resetting the Steering Assist/ABS fault codes. I have done all the steps several times and cannot get the faults to clear, although the VAG-COM indicates all is green during the testing phase.
[URL].................... And the faults will not clear.
Here is the scan results, (non-fault sections removed):

I recently sent for a reset my airbag module, yes my car was in a collision, I replaced passenger airbag(only 1 airbag deployed). And reconnected the module. Using the VAG COM, I scanned the airbag module, shows no fault codes, but i still have a light.. now I'm thinking seatbelts and sensors maybe the problem. Where the sensors for a 2005 passat passenger dash airbag are located.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2006 passat and the check engine light came on so I performed a scan, the results are below. fault codes... which ones would need to be repaired immediately?

Ok in parking lot car is armed but driver side door is unlocked press the unlock on remote will not unlock the doors however I can pop the trunk with remote. Try to start car and alarm is triggered and car will not start. I have fault codes like 00928, 01358. Is there away to disable the entire alarm so I can start it and get home.
View 1 RepliesOk, so I scanned a 2006 Passat 3.6 4mo. I got a fault for the catalyst system, a fault for the AWD controller, and a fault for the Haldex pump. I'm guessing the catalyst code is for the oxygen sensors? What should be my next course of action on the AWD stuff?

I have just replaced the abs ecu and have cleared the codes, thought all was gonna be good but now two code are still coming up they are:
01044 Transmission control module - incorrectly coded
00778 Steering angle sensor-G85
So i installed a USP test pipe and got Revo Stage 2 upgrade yesterday. I had no codes before the test pipe. I still have a CEL for 9 fault codes. 4 of which are all the o2 sensor codes. With all these codes my Traction Control light is on too. I think this may be a safety thing. I thought Stage 2 was supposed to get rid of the CEL. Especially for the 02 sensors in the rear.
View 6 RepliesI coded a few things through VCDS (fogs as DRLs, turned up XDS, enabled TSC, etc.) and now I'm getting fault codes from ABS...
I did an autoscan before I started and there were no fault codes before.
These warning lights are lit but my code reader (Actron CP9180) shows 'pass' meaning no fault codes. I had a similar thing happen about a year ago Before I had my own reader) and the cause was a faulty speed sensor on one wheel. Since then all 4 hubs have been replaced. Does this sound like the brake module?
View 14 RepliesI was told that these are affiliated to a problem with the air pump (not the one you pump the tire up with) -- Need to locate the air pump? Hoping to find a loose hose or something I can fix.
View 12 RepliesAll seems to be going well, drove the car for first 200 meters yesterday! Replacing the faulty parts is always easiest, just need to know if there are any shortcuts for fixing this. What's the engine oil temperature sensor? The one bolted in oil pan?
The intake air temperature is showing -40 degrees celsius.
MAF is plugged correctly.
VAG-COM gives me these following codes:
3 Faults Found:
000406 - Engine Oil Temp. Sensor (G8)
P0196 - 004 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
000275 - Intake Air Temp. Sensor (G42)
P0113 - 002 - Signal too High - Intermittent
000258 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
P0102 - 002 - Signal too Low
Readiness: 0000 0000
As far as trouble shooting faults in the ABS - does it store fault codes and how can they be read ?
Daughter's 2007 Elantra has ABS symbol lit for a week, I took it to a car wash and used the high pressure spray to clean the wheel hub areas and that may have fixed the problem but interested if ABS fault codes are stored and can be read.
The check engine light came on in my truck and while I suspected it was a misfire (driving along it will misfire like crazy at certain RPM). What I cannot figure out is exactly which coil is causing the problem. I get these codes:
P0306 - Cylinder 6 misfire --> Easy enough, cylinder 6
P0356 - Ignition Coil F Primary/Secondary Circuit --> Which cylinder is this?
P0356 - Ignition Coil G Primary/Secondary Circuit --> Which cylinder is this?
Assuming that cylinder 1 is the front left (when facing the vehicle) am I right in that cylinder 6 is the 2nd from front on the right (when facing the vehicle)? Would Ignition Coil F also be on cylinder 6? and therefore ignition coil G be cylinder 7?
The other code I am getting are both the same:
P1740 - Powertrain
P1740 - Powertrain - Transmission System Problems
I suspect these 2 are related to one another, the odd piece is it drives fine other than the misfire. Hoping to cure the misfire so that it drives smoothly and I can then figure out the P1740 code.
Picked up my rx300 on Monday. Got engine and vsc lights on. Tried battery off to reset. Worked for a day then back. Got a code reader and reset. Found a p00016 code? Crankshaft potion/camshaft position bank 1 sensor A correlation ?
View 1 RepliesCar was taking 3-4 seconds to turn over when I started it one night. After that, flashing CEL and then CEL stayed. Car idles ridiculously rough, thought it was just a coil pack but seems to be a lot more. What is going on with my car?
Performance mods:
APR intake (stage 1&2)
SPM track edition turboback
Stage 2 revo software
R8 coilpacks and NGK plugs put in 9-10k miles ago
Have 52k miles on the car if that matters
I am getting 20 intermittent ground fault codes and the kid I bought the car from had an alternator put in. I see a terminal closest to the front of the car on the alternator that has no thick wire attached to it and when I was at the junkyard they had wires connected to them. I cleaned all other grounds on the car that I can access so I think that could be the issue but I don't know where the wire should lead to and how the alternator should be grounded!
View 1 RepliesConnected my obd2 to my car and found 3 fault codes 1 which repeated itself twice.. the codes are P0453 that repeated itself a couple times and the 3rd one is P0133.. I looked them up and see that one can be either bad grounding and also a bad oxygen sensor? and then the other mentions something about fuel and says something about fuel pressure sensor?

After battling a few months to get my check engine light - fault code P0304 to go off I finally remedied the problem with 3 bottles/fill ups of STP Gas treatment. This was about 1500miles ago. I go to DMV Inspection station and sat for an hour then wait anther 20minutes for the test to end and was given the big fat rejection sticker, she failed because the check engine light came on with fault codes P0304 & P0441.
Now what the heck happened here? Just bad luck and coincidence or did their test set it off? Anyway the P0441 code is new and researched it is the Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Valve. Okay where is it, the HMA manual is not specific? In relation to the intake manifold where is it? Easy fix? And will this solve my P0304 code?
My 2006 W12 has been trouble free since taking delivery over a year and a half and 30K miles ago. Just broke 60K total miles over the weekend and the engine light came on. I have pasted the scan below. I cleared the codes and drove about 500 miles before the MIL reappeared. I have read this thread: [URL] ....
My first question is: Is there any harm in continuing to drive it?
I have visually inspected the secondary air injection system hoses and can't find anything glaring (no kinks, leaks, disconnections). I am open to taking the car to the dealership but I have low confidence in their diagnostic capabilities. I am fine with them doing work once we know what is wrong but I want to tell them what to do (replace a bunch of hoses for example). How to proceed?
