I have a 2014 Nissan Sentra and noticed when adjusting the drivers seat that there is a fat wire underneath that seems to be cut (you can feel the wire has been cut and there is gooey stuff coming out of it). What those wires go to? I don't have electronic seat controls or anything, just the very basic SV.
View 4 RepliesI have a 91 Nissan sentra. The seat belt warning light and buzzer like to go off for no reason. Sometimes this lasts my entire trip, 30 minutes of constant buzzing. I have narrowed it down to the front passenger automatic latch.( it slides across the top of the roof and latches in the back.) I have tried every thing I have heard to try from unplugging the wires under the seat to spraying wd-40 into the latch. Nothing has worked. I am just short of ripping out the dash board to cut the wires to the buzzer.

View 3 RepliesJust bought this car last week. My last car was a 2011 Maxima and before that a Murano so I am use to the CVT bu this cars shifting seems to be off.
I have noticed the front end rattles a little when idling. Also there is a noticeable violent shift/shake a certain points when it shifts.....usually when going about 20 and stepping on the gas fast. It does not happen all the time and that is what I'm worried about because I am bringing it for service and I'm sure they will say "we don't feel anything". Believe me something is not right. I think the dealer would have to drive the car for a while to experience it. It happened bad when I went up a hill this morning.
Curious. When I first start the car and I'm driving then come to a stop I feel engine rumble or shake. It only does it the first time I stop. Car is under warranty but I'm curious as to why it is. Also it doesn't do it all the time so that's another problem with bringing it to the dealer.
View 9 RepliesRecently leased a 2014 Nissan Sentra SL It has 800 miles on it now. Immediately I felt a slight vibration when coming to a stop. It is intermittent happens about 50% of the time. Brought it to my dealer and he said he couldn't feel the problem on the test drive, if it persists come back to him.I plan on going back to service next week. As I apply the brakes it slows down smoothly but just before coming to a complete stop is when it vibrates. Most people say my car has warped rotors causing this,My question is: How can a brand new car with 10 miles on it have warped rotors?
View 13 RepliesI have a 99 Sentra 217500 miles 1.6 auto: I changed the trans fluid, and now have a bearing noise on the driver's side. The car shifted ok, but would stay locked up coming from drive to a stop.The fluid had been changed a couple times, before I got the car @195000, but was now very greyish looking, not burnt or black. I drained and then used the car to pump 8 quarts total (keeping it filled) The car runs and shifts fine, but now I have a 'tire like noise' driver's side. I jacked up each front wheel and ran the car in drive. the noise only came from the drivers side. I think it is a coincidence and am having the car checked on mon.
View 5 RepliesI have noticed new drivers seat squeak. It only happens with weight transfer side to side at lower speeds ( hard right and hard left below 30 mph, or entering a driveway). I have looked at several posts and it seems like people have had luck with simply tightening the bolts for the seat.
Well I did that and it still making the noise. I have isolated the noise to the lower part of the seat right behind the molding. Behind the molding and behind the seat control switches there is a white box for the switches. It seems like the noise is coming from there. I noticed that if I pop off the control switches and I loosen the screws for the control switches the noise gets a touch better.
I took it to the dealership and they told me they tried to add some oil between the leather and the molding but it did nothing since the source seems to be behind the molding.
My research showed some of this happening on some of the older Lexus but couldn't find any on the IS that are this new.
I plan on taking it in and hoping to have them replace under warranty. Just seems kind of odd with only 20K miles. I have never used anything other than water and a micro to clean the seats.
2014 IS350AWD
My driver's seat heater won't shut off even though the I have it off. It is only the lower seat back that is on. So I have been sweating while driving around due to this. Is there any quick fix? pull a fuse? disconnect the heat underneath the seat?
View 11 RepliesMy 2 week old IS 350 Ultra white/Red F sport is in the shop for the rattle that feels to me to be under the car under the driver's seat. The dealer cannot figure out the problem after a day, so is keeping my new car. At least they were able to hear the rattle.

View 10 RepliesI managed to scrape the passenger door (mostly just the paint) on my 2014 Prius. I got it back from the shop yesterday and just noticed that I can no longer roll down the right rear window using the controls from the driver's seat. I can still lower the left rear window from the driver's seat, but the only way to open the one on the right is to use the switch on that door.

The seat heater module on drivers side went out and the back slider window leaks water bad when we take it through the car wash. Is this possible? We were told nothing of this when we purchased it from this same Ford dealer.
View 14 RepliesHopped into my truck last night after unlocking with the key fob, the easy exit is turned off, and the drivers seat was rolled all the way back and lowered. Mirror might have been off its mark too. Seat back was fine, not reclined. The seat change position like this? Never happened before or after, software? Bumped stuck adjustment switch, other???? Doubt having key on the same frequency and did it for fun as my laptop was in plain view and not stolen...

We realized that she has to be careful because the driver seat headrest will push against the headliner. I think the adjustment range could have been better planned. Our last car would not allow this to happen.
View 3 Replies2011 F150 Screw FX4 drivers seat squeaks. Its in the bottom. It happens when you go over bumps. It doesn't do it all the time, but you can sometimes make it stop by moving the seat forward or back.
View 3 RepliesI don't usually have to drop the rear seats for storage... So the other day I push the drivers side "60%" seat down and it clicks into place. Sweet. I go around to the other side of the car and.... the passengers side rear seat does not lie flat. The bottom doesn't move at all. And I'm thinking, um, did it ever?
