On my 2007 SC 430 I have a passenger headlight that appears to have a mind of its own. It works intermittently. I know that it is programmed to go off when the car is in park, but that is not what I'm talking about. When I start the car after dark both sides will be on but at some point the passenger side will go out, not all the time, but quite often. I have checked for loos wires but have not found any.
View 4 RepliesMy friend with a 2007 SC430 is having a recurring problem with his passenger's side headlight. The HID low beam keeps periodically going out, then will start working again. When it isn't lighting up, it's doesn't work on either the low beam or the high beam settings, while the driver's side lamp is working fine (driver's side low beam lamp is on with high beam lamp when high beams are engaged, and driver's side lowbeam lamp on as normal with low beam engaged).
He has replaced the passenger's side bulb with a Lexus OEM purchased from a dealer back in November which seemed to fix things for a while but now the problem is back again.
What the cause(s) could be and how to troubleshoot? He previously owned a 2002 SC430 for 6 years and never once had any headlight issues or even had to replace any bulbs, and the 07 is giving him this grief now after barely 3 years of owning it.
I have a 2006 elantra. I just got it back from having a new clutch put in. My passenger side headlight, low beam, no longer works. I tried two different new bulbs and it still doesn't work. All the other lights on the car are working, including the high beam and running light on the passenger side. Is there something that would have been disconnected when they replaced the clutch? Is there something I should check?

I have a 2007 and lately the driver's side headlight goes out sometimes when I'm driving. If I turn the lights off, and then back on, it will light up again and stay lit. Sometimes it will work for weeks and then all of a sudden it will go out. So I'm thinking of replacing the bulb(s)
Are the headlight bulbs in the 2007 SC regular light bulbs that I can purchase at a local automotive store?
Very much enjoying my newly acquired CPO sc430 but there's a strange thing that I noticed: When I go over a short-bump or hit a patch of broken pavement, the driver's side headlight seems to flicker for just a split-second. Sometimes it even seems like the other one flickers too. What that can be? Is it normal for this car?
Also, my car has the dreaded brake-clunk that has been discussed in this forum ad nauseum. Is it worth taking it to the dealer even assuming they know how to adjust the clips and grease the system to get rid of it? How long does the "fix" last? I had a 2004 acura TL that did this from day 1 but only on the initial brake application after starting the engine. The SC does it every time I shift from D into R etc.
On my 2006 SC430 the DRL's come on with the low beam lights.I assume this is standard across all second Gen SC430's. My issue is the passenger side DRL went out. The high beams worked fine, but only the drivers side DRL would work when the headlights are on (no DRL's come on with the headlights off).
So, I went to AutoZone and picked up replacement bulbs. I just put them in and the exact same thing is happening. Brights work fine, DRL only works on the drivers side. Where to even look now that I have replaced the bulbs.
My passenger side window won't roll down. Everything else on the door works including the mirror. Guessing the motor, is there a way to check it?
View 1 RepliesLike the title says I have some pretty bad condensation in my passenger side headlight, i have the LED headlamps. I'm bringing the car in for its 6 month service next week so the problem should be fixed then. I'm interested to see what happened, You'd expect headlights that cost over a thousand dollars a piece not to be having problems like this after only 6 months.

View 14 RepliesIf the top is leaking on both sides by the side top front windows, is that expensive to repair? I think it might need a weather strip. In other words, when it rains, the car will leak on my thigh and or the passengers thigh.

View 10 RepliesMy father recently bought a used 2014 IS250. After washing the vehicle there was a significant amount of condensation (water) in the passenger side headlight. After visiting the dealership for window tints the dealership denied to fix it warranty due to the fact that it was involved in a accident with the previous owner which is completely understandable. I recently bought a replacement new oem headlight to replace it. Would it be too difficult to install myself, is it just plug and play?
View 3 RepliesI've only put a few thousand miles on my car since I got it last year. I noticed my wife has to slam the pass door rather hard to get it to shut. I figured the striker/latch alignment must be out of whack and didn't think much about it. The other day I started taking a look at it and realized the top of the door glass is just barely contacting the roof as it closes. The more I look at it, the more I think it's not a problem with the door or glass adjustment, but maybe the roof.
If I adjust the glass barely down, I don't get a tight seal. These are designed to just barely miss each other and there has to be some sort of tolerance stack up adjustment other than loosening the hinge bolts and re-tightening.
I need to replace one wheel stud on the passenger side rear. Read an old post that said jack up the car remove wheel spay the stud you need to knock out with WD 40 or PB Blaster. Wait 10 minutes smack it with a small sledge hammer and out it comes. Now I have done that on some older classics but is it that simple on the SC. I have not really jacked it up to give it a good inspection, but I would think you may need to remove the rear rotor and maybe the back cover I saw when I took a quick look under the car.
View 4 RepliesMy 2002 SC 430 has a rattle in the vicinity of the passenger side speaker. I have isolated it to this area because the rattle stops as soon as I turn off the sound system. How to remove the speaker grille and poke around? The grille itself does not seem to be loose.

how to replace my head light, on the passenger side.
Lately I noticed that my headlight beams are crossed between passenger and driver side....
When I start up the car, the headlights move down and up for the initializing... all seems fine... While I backing my car out of the garage, I notice that my light beam start to drift closer to each other as I back out further and then finally crossed... the beam from my passenger headlight ended up on the driver side.... and the beam from my driver headlight ended up on the passenger side.
My AFS lamps are working and initializing when the car turn on.
Recently purchased a 2002 sc430 . After an hour of driving I began to hear a buzzing or humming coming from the backseat on the passenger side . Sounds almost like a fan. Car drives just fine but the buzzing is driving me nuts.
