Lexus RX 2010-15 :: RX350 Moves Back And Forth A Little After Shutting Off

I have a 2010 rx350 that when i shut off my car, the car moves back and forth a little. Is it normal? are the parking brakes bad?

Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Driver Seat Moves Back A Bit And When Braking Hard It Moves Forwards
My RX350 is over 4yrs old with 105k km on it. I notice lately when I drive off the seat moves back a bit and when braking hard it moves forwards. It is about quarter of an inch movement but it is noticeable. I guess it is not under warranty now. I looked under the seat but can not find where this is coming from, I am assuming it must be a loose bolt that needs to be tightened.

I LOVE my new 2015 RX. I took delivery just a few weeks ago (07/11/14) and just hit the 1K mark! This car is so nice, and solid I truly am so happy and proud to have it.
One little *little* thing that I did notice.. is that over the past few days.. I notice that when I get in the car, or exit.. and the automated tilt steering wheel moves up or down, it make a very loud, and defined "squeak" noise. Specifically happens in the lower end, (i.e. when the wheel is near the bottom of the travel, as I have the wheel set to the lowest setting). the upper part of the travel seems fine.
Is this something I can fix myself with grease of some type? I would hate to have to block off a day, take to the dealer, get a loaner car.. and then go back etc.. plus.. I hate going to the dealer.. I am of the mindset that they generally cause more issues. (What if they scratch something, sit on the edge of my leather seats and make creases, etc.. ) so, if there is a way I can fix it.. I am all for it.

Top of the back door is hitting the garage while opening inside the garage and getting all scratches, Is it possible to open it only 1/2 way as I can see that option in other SUV's but can't find any setting in the manual. Is it possible to do on 2013 RX 350?

Our 2013 RX350 makes an annoying thunking noise, coming somewhere from the rear underside of the car, every time you come to a complete s stop, e.g. at a traffic light. I had a test drive with a mechanic from our Lexus dealership, and he told me that every 2013 RX350 he ever drove made that noise. Is that true?

My 2012 RX350 now for over a year and like it a lot.........BUT.
There's seems to be a lot "road noise" that's transmitted back into the cabin, like driving over expansion joints on blacktop or rough road surface, is this normal?
I drove a 2000 RX300 for 100,000 miles and don't remember it being this noisy. Interior noise is great and quiet.

I have a 2003 Lexus GS 300 with 125k. Two problems. First, the back doors don't lock or unlock electronically (well, very rarely one will unlock). The only way to lock/unlock them is to manually reach around. It started with the driver's side back door almost two years ago, and in the past 7-8 months the other one started doing the same thing.
Also, the steering wheel automatically moves out of position when the key is removed, and automatically back into position when the car is started. A nice feature, but the steering wheel screams when it moves up and down. It's loud and embarrassing.

I find it a little concerning that I can actually drive off in our RX350 without the key fob in it. I know there is a warning on the dash, but that doesn't stop someone from stealing it. May be a park lock out would be a better solution.

Looking for a new luxury SUV - had a 2001 RX-300 and put 230,000 miles on it and gave it to my daughter. The local Lexus dealer seems to have only AWD models and is not real useful in getting a FWD stripper (don't want nav, etc.) The local Acura dealer has several base MDX's in FWD and seems more useful. Drove both AWD versions and thought the Acura was much better handler and better road feel. Am leaning towards Acura but don't know about service costs and long term reliability - we will keep either car for 12 years probably. What say you? Doesn't seem to be a decent Acura MDX forum out there.

I have HID low beams and Halogen high beams on my 2015 RX 350. I'd like to set the HID low beams just a touch higher. The manual shows where the adjustment screws are located, but does not indicate which way (clockwise or counter-clockwise) to turn the screw to raise the position of the headlight. I heard noises like a small pump noise and a hissing air sound above the muffler area. The car had been sitting for hours and no key fob close to it. I was climbing under it looking at something else when I heard it. Sounds like a tiny electric motor running with an air hiss. Passenger side. Just bought the vehicle last week. It has 27k miles on it. Had to replace battery the other day. Said battery was replaced a year ago. Wonder if this is hurting the battery? Start great in the morning. Vapor fuel pump?

Is this true that I it is nor possible to set destination while the vehicle is in motion? Even via voice command?
I often need to change destination or set a via point while I am driving, including on a highway. I do it via voice or ask my wife to set manually in such case. My MB allows it as well as every model of portable Garmin I've owned.
I heard that Navi on RX350 is blocking that. Is that true? How do you enter destination while you are on a highway? Let's say you need a gas station or a coffee shop, what do you do?
We are shopping for a new RX350 and this sounds like a deal breaker.
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: Easy Entry / Exit Function - Steering Wheel Automatically Moves Into Most Upward Position
I have a 2010 RX350 base model, no navi...
I turned off the "easy entry/exit function" and when I turn off the car the steering wheel still automatically moves into the most upward position. It's only suppose to do this with the function on.
Is something broken? Should I get this fixed?

My 2010 RX350 started to make 'hum - hum - hum' noise whiling turning. It is fine while driving straight, only makes this noise while on a curve. If I disable traction control, the noise seems going away, at least it is a lot less.
