I am stopped at a light, with no one in front of me, and it starts beeping rapidly as if someone were almost touching the front of the car. Last night I noticed it again, this time it was snowing somewhat.
View 8 RepliesI have a 2010 RX350 with IPA (Back up sensors) and I've recently come across a problem. There is no light on the dash indicating that the system is active. And when I go to the setup menu to want to scroll and activate to the option of enabling or disabling the system, the option is just not there. The only option is to activate snow mode.. What has happened? Where I should start troubleshooting?

View 3 RepliesDriving in heavy rain on the interstate, my park assist warning started signaling. I assumed it was the heavy rain affecting the sensors. However, later on local roads, I kept getting intermittent warnings, with only light rain coming down. It seemed to happen most during deceleration, when water would slide down the hood toward the front bumper. I'm guessing it has something to do with the sensors on the front bumper, possibly getting water in them.

View 4 RepliesDoes the 2015 GX 460 beeps when you're really near an object? Mine only alerts me when there is a moving object. I checked the lexus park assist and it's on but no alert. It doesn't alert when I'm reversing or when I'm driving forward when I'm parallel parking.

Since snow started falling this week when I drive the park assist just randomly goes off its annoying having buzzing sound just go off not shut off.
Today my car came back from service, now when I reverse park I get this display where when you move the steering wheel you can choose the spot you park in. Before I was just happy reverse parking my car myself and get a different display showing me the back view with with green and red lines I think where the car is moving towards etc. I can't figure out how to disable this steering wheel park assist.

Will not let me parallel park or reverse park now. I tried to reset the settings but maybe I don't know how to "save" settings.
View 5 RepliesI've noticed that when I'm seemingly close to an object on the right front, it doesn't set off the tone or show the symbol in that location. I don't know if the sensors on the right front are not working or if the sensitivity there is decreased, or if I'm just not getting too close to anything on the right front (don't think so).

View 1 RepliesI recently picked up a 2014 LX that has a Front Wide Camera in the grill (Im sure they all do). So when I go to park I noticed that the front Lexus Park Assist Sensor doesnt come on and start beeping as I get closer to the garage door nor does it come up on the screen. I took it in to get it looked at, and the dealer said they programmed it, but all they do is turn the front camera on to "Auto". My question is, is the front Park Assist Sensors not enabled if we have a Front Wide Camera? I tried looking in the manual and it shows you could adjust it, but when I check the settings I could only adjust the rear sensor.

View 4 RepliesWe like the car so far (not many miles on it yet so the jury is still out ) but one complaint my wife has: all doors automatically unlock when you shift into park. If she is in unknown territory or unsafe appearing area but needs to shift into park, this is a security issue for her. I can see it being a concern if you pull up to an ATM drive-through too as one normally would shift to park and conduct their business. It's not unheard of (rare, yes) to be confronted by someone trying to rob you while making such a transaction at times when few or no other people are around, etc. It's unnerving to think you're passenger side door might be opened while you are doing business out the driver's side door. I think my wife is more concerned about times when parking in underground ramp; doors unlock before she can survey the area UNLESS she remembers to not automatically shift into park when she pulls into the space. So, whether this automatic unlock "feature" can be disabled?
View 14 RepliesOK, each day my new T-Reg has a surprise. Today it was that the Park Assist showed just the red lights when in reverse. I know from the manual that this indicates a fault with the system.
I'm taking the car back to the dealer to have it diagnosed.... what should I expect? Is it as easy as hook up a computer and it says that sensor X is faulty??
Actually, the park assist seems to work when in 'D' so I assume that it's something on the back set that is faulty. The car is clean and only four days old from the dealer. I've checked the sensor exteriors and can't see anything covering them. Anything else I should check?
My girlfriend has an 07 1500 new body style LTZ. It has the rear park assist and was working just fine before. Now when you put it in reverse the system makes the single beep. Then as you back up the lights in the back window on the passenger side all seem to work. The only problem is it doesn't beep anymore. As you get closer the beeps get more should get more and more frequent the closer you get to something. I tried turning it on and off, but no luck.
View 6 RepliesI can't figure out how park assist works... When I put it in reverse, I hear a tone and the button flashes (this is an '06 Passat BTW). I tried it with my dad standing behind the car and it didn't signal to me that an object was there (I eventually hit my dad - don't worry, he's okay).
I've also tried pressing the park assist button on approach to my parking spot at my apartment, I have my motorcycle parked in the front of the spot sideways, so I pull in right up to the bike (head first), and again, no beeping or anything even though the park-assist button is blinking and it gave me the audible ok). Am I doing something wrong?
I just bought a 2010 RX 350 with comfort package with USA spec. My car is imported into Asia country, and I found a very strange thing, now matter how to flip the switches, I cannot cannot power up those 2 lamps !

I have a problem with the ipa on my Prius, it used to work fine and I admit I hardly ever used it, I tried to demonstrate it yesterday and when I press the button all I get is 2 quick beeps, nothing on the screen comes up.
