How to install passenger side view monitor of 2010 RX350? I have bought OEM side view camera and steering wheel control button. I don't know to connect the wire. My car had navigation and parking assist already. How to install it?

It feels like an exhaust vibration transferred through the floor connection of the seat belt. How can I get rid of it ? The vibration feels like a cell phone set on vibrating and is very annoying for the passenger.

View 14 RepliesI just took in my 2007 RX350 to the Lexus dealer for a "once over" as I recently purchased it, as well as a squeak that was coming from the passenger side wiper blades.
After several replacements (including the high end Rainx and Michelin from Home Depot) the squeak would not go away.
Lexus indicated that the "aftermarket" blades were causing the problem and I needed Lexus blades.
I pushed back as they were about $120 for both, but, much to my surprise no squeak.
Not sure what the OEM blades are and I guess I could have researched it more, but, was at my witts end with the squeak.
Anyway, that fixed the problem.
Lately I've been having issues with my windows, door locks and power mirrors not working. Here are the symptoms;
What works;
Driver window Sunroof Key fob unlock/lock (Also all of the doors unlock when I open the door)
What does NOT work;
All passenger windows (they were working intermittently before but now none of them work) Door locks from any panel (Sometimes I can unlock the doors but can never lock them) Side view mirror controls
Seems like it could be a faulty ecu. Plan on removing the door this weekend to inspect everything.
I have a new 2015 RX 350 and the side view mirror quit folding when I turn off the car. The auto light is turned on. It will work when I utilize the manual switch and it will open when I use the auto switch, but it won't close when I park the car and shut it off. Is there something I'm doing wrong or some other item I need to set?

View 5 RepliesWe were following an RX350 the other night, it was a later model as the rear wiper was hidden, and I noticed it had turn signal lights at the outboard edge of the side view mirrors. Is this a 2015 thing or something we missed on the 2014?
Might not be enough to trade up for but something I hope continues into the Gen 4 models as it is a feature I like.
I read through all the discussions on this topic scattered across a number of threads, and finally pulled the trigger. Just wanted to share the simple steps I took and some pictures.
The overriding conclusion is: it is easy; you can do it without drilling holes!

View 8 RepliesWe own a 2013 RX 350, purchased less than a year ago. We are experiencing this rattling noise coming from inside the side panels, its frequency changes depending on road and weather conditions like if road is rough or if its windy. We have taken the vehicle to Lexus Service three times so far for the same issue, they have acknowledged the issue. Last service took almost a month but still no remedy.
As of last service, Lexus took the entire roof liner down to fix the issue but it came back after one day post service.
Noise is extremely irritating because it occurs next to driver's left ear and is annoying as anything can be. Same goes for right ear for the front passenger.
We have owned Nissan Maxima, BMW and Lexus before and none of the vehicles had this issue.
2013 RX 350. Noticed the driver's side mirror vibrate or shake a lot more while driving on some bumpy roads and freeways?
Compared to the passenger side which is pretty stable and to a 2012 RX 350 which is stable too.
How to set the passenger side view mirror memory adjustment? I am unclear on a couple of things:
1) With the transmission in any position other than reverse, adjust the passenger side mirror as you like it.
2) Put the car in reverse, and adjust the same mirror to show you what you want to look at when you have the transmission in reverse.
3) Now press the appropriate seat memory buttons, to store that configuration as your 'driver preference', and the car will remember both settings.
Does #3 mean that you turn off the car leaving it in reverse? Leave it running - in reverse? And then you press "Set" and then the seat number button - and then "Set" again?
Firstly, when i put my car in reverse, my passenger side view mirror does not automatically tilt. is there some sort of setting i must go to?
Secondly, I was wondering if it was possible to AUTOMATICALLY fold the side view mirror when i off the engine, or lock the doors, and for them to automatically unfold when i start the engine or unlock the doors! Instead of manually turning the knob.
I went into the Menu, and there was an option under "locks .... ---> mirrors", and i selected sync. Does that have anything to do with my question?
Thirdly, The rain sensing wipers. I have to activate this by pulling the lever up ONE STEP to the intermittent mode right. I tested the rain sensing wipers with a bottle of water! and the sensor is at the rear view mirror. The question is that when i off the engine and leave the rain wipers under Mode ONE (one step up the lever from off) the car doesn't automatically activate the wipers if it rains. I have to push it down to off! then back to INTERMITTENT MODE! Is this normal?
I have a base model V6 Touareg. The passenger side view mirror doesn't tilt down in reverse (even with the mirror switch in the R position). Is there a VAG-COM setting to enable this feature?
View 1 RepliesI installed a DDM HID Kit for about two weeks week this morning the passenger side didn't come on. I have to turn off the light and turn it back on for the passenger side to come on and went it did it was slowly turning on took like 15 second to fully turn on. I have a relay harness. Do I have a bad bulb or a ballast should i try switching the bulbs?

Also, the driver's side mirror will not program and it has a mind of its own just changing randomly every time I back in.

View 5 RepliesMy TPM light went on coming into work this morning. I did a visual check, everything looked ok. When I got to work got out the old gauge and they all show about 28 psi. The manual states it can go on due to 'natural causes' but doesn't really go into detail. Will it goes on if any/all tires fall below a certain psi? I'll be going back out later to check again to see if one of the tires is going flat.
View 10 RepliesI have a 2006 F250 XLT Super Crew. I want to add an in dash double din DVD and run a flip down monitor from it for the back seat passengers. Now I can see an outline in the ceiling where the previous owner had one at one point and removed it prior to selling the truck.
I cant do headrest monitors due to the fixed headrest. When I look at the headliner there isn't much of a flat surface to mount to the head liner has two drop down pieces, one at the dome light and one 8" or so to the rear of the vehicle.
Installing a flip down monitor in this vehicle or one similar? if so how did you get the head liner to secure to the monitor and not leave a gap? I'm looking at a 14" Tview TFT monitor from Car ID.
