Fm , disc , aux this is on the dashboard
Both enter buttons , nav and menu button not working.(mouse) Navigation is working and there is display. When i put movie it start automatically.
I tried remove batter but same issue.

I'm new to the Lexus navigation system, and the first time I used it I was impressed that I could speak street names while driving.
But the other day I wanted to get directions to the local IKEA store, and I could not get it to accept a business name (through the voice menus while driving). Is there a way to do this? I just spent a few hours looking through the navigation manual and it seems to support voice selection of POIs, but not shopping locations, perhaps? I also found myself at one point on a menu where Target stores showed up, but not the IKEA. Maybe they only display stores who pay for placement?
I have a 2009 GX 470 and need to set up my easy exit (where seat goes back when car turned off and key comes out). I keep seeing posts that say got to the set up button and click on vehicle. I see a set up menu button but when I click that there is no vehicle option.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2013 RX350 AWD, purchased new about 8 months old. Today for the first time, the navigation/audio system joy stick stopped working while I was driving. The display froze and then had just lines of pixels and very small font. Moving the joy stick had no effect. There was also no map displayed. The display was basically "messed up".
Once I got home, I turned of the car and then restarted. The display and joy stick was fine. I never saw this in all 8 months I've had the car. I am just about to schedule my 10,000 service.
The Sync is not connecting any longer to my IPhone 6. I push the phone button on the navigation system and it does not bring up the phone screen/menu. It is a dead button now.
View 7 RepliesChanged the battery in my 2003 GX 470 today and all hell has broken loose. I have been able to reset my windows and moon roof but my Nav has a mind of its own.
MAP, DEST and MENU screens are all blank. However CLIMATE, AUDIO, DISPLAY works perfectly.
Do I have to press a button on the ultimate lockpick every time I want to use the navigation while in motion? If I do have to press a button is there any module out there that will allow me to use the navigation while in motion without having to press a button?
View 9 RepliesI have not been able to locate where this is on the 2012's. Not looking for how to access the menu where you hold down the Setup button & tun your lights on & off a few times.
I am looking for the menu that used to allow users to be able to Override the navigation. I have had a ton of other navigation, both factory & aftermarket, & don't like having to stop to enter a destination.
How to access this menu & whether or not it still allows for the Override option that it once did?
The button to enter the address for Destination is greyed out. Even when the car is not in motion. I bought the car used so not sure if the previous owner has disabled anything in there.

View 1 RepliesIn June my Grandfather picked up a used 2010 Prius (not exactly sure what trim package it is? I think it's IV? It has heated front seats, voice activation, bluetooth, navigation, XM radio, NO sunroof though)
He honestly doesn't like the car that much, I don't think he knew about the "PWR" button that would make the gas pedal behave more like a standard throttle, but he is away on a trip right now so I am borrowing the car. I love it, and I'm going to show him the "PWR" mode when he gets back and see if that changes his opinion of the car.
ANYWAY I noticed when driving it that pressing the MAP button doesn't actually make the map display and instead changes the radio station? I did some searching and found that this may actually be a known flaw although from my searching it doesn't look like Toyota has addressed this?
I'm guessing the car is probably out of the original manufacturers warranty? Not sure if there might have been some sort of warranty from when he purchased the car pre-owned? I definitely plan to talk to him about this when he gets back because it is very annoying to not be able to switch back to the map easily. The only ways I have figured out to work around this is use the voice activation and say "show map" or to press the "DEST" button, choose a destination, and then delete that destination and then it shows the map.

I have a 2010 Gen III Prius with Nav (GPS).
View 3 RepliesInserted updated nav disc as directed in nav disc slot, closed door. Now the disc is stuck in the scan-disc mode and the load/eject button doesn't work on it. Wondering if there is a way to force eject the disc or other way to unstick it. You can hear the disc 'whirring' briefly as if it is trying to eject, but is stuck. It does this over and over. That's the only sound; none of the other buttons are responsive.
View 1 RepliesGot a 2010 Prius with navigation couple days ago. No problems so far except, in mornings, on cold start head unit acts strange. If I press map or destination button on the right side of it, it skips music tracks that are being played or changes the radio station. It glitches like that for about 15 minutes, than comes back to normal. turning the car on and off doesn't work at all. The unit had been replaced once under warranty by toyota dealer.

The navigation door stopped working about 6 months ago while the navigation screen still worked fine. Two weeks ago the door started to work as it should be, but today it stopped working again.
According to other threads people have published this could be from the door being off-track, a broken motor, and a blown fuse. Obviously none of these scenarios could be apply in our case.
Btw, I checked all fuses and could not find any problems with them.
For the past few days, every time i turn the car ON (with the headlights ON), the nav screen, clock and surrounding buttons illuminate as they should, but after ~3 seconds, the illumination for the surrounding buttons and clock shut off.
Also, the touch-screen functioning and surrounding buttons do not work at any time. The nav screen remains illuminated, however the touch-screen buttons and surrounding buttons do not work. If i turn the car off and restart, same thing; all lights illuminate for about 3 seconds then stop.
During the day with no lights on, the clock will illuminate for ~3 seconds, then shut off just like above. None of the surrounding buttons (climate, map, infom audio, display, etc) work at all.
What would cause this unusual condition? I feel like if a fuse were blown, it wouldn't work, period. But, the lights illuminate for a few seconds before shutting off.
The emergency flasher button works and illuminates always, and the passenger airbag lights do, likewise. I pulled the nav unit from the car and checked all cables, and they all appear in place.
I can communicate with the car via the voice commands, but that's it.
what might be causing these strange symptoms?
My navigation and middle console have stopped working..I checked fuses.
View 2 RepliesMy navigation door quit working, tilt function also, and it's stuck open. The Nav unit works fine. Dealer is telling me thousands to replace it - but I suspect it's like the Mercedes dealer where my SL was missing a $10 clip - and they wanted to replace the dashboard... I'm hoping it can be repaired. It makes a little "ping" sound then I turn the car off, but I don't hear the door motor.
View 14 RepliesI have an 08 RX350 with navigation and premium sound. I bought a Kenwood DDX8901HD radio along with the TYTO-01 interface and the ASWC-1 to try and keep my steering wheel controls. I removed my old radio easy enough. Installed the TYTO-01 made all the connections and now I have NO NAVIGATION ANYMORE NOR DO I HAVE AC. It says check AC connection.
View 12 RepliesI've attached some pictures of what it looks like. Sometimes there are no lines and just black but the display button still overlaps. Everything else seems to be working. I think this happened when I got the 12v battery replaced. I am also not sure I have a nav dvd. How do you eject those DVDs?
