Just got the 2010 and put 100 miles on it and found the front bumper loose on the passenger side. Difficult to see but it looked loose right by the headlight housing, a little pull and it popped up. Looked like the fastener was never there.
View 14 RepliesI just picked up my new 2011 last night. Noticed today it looks like the corner of the rear bumper on the passenger side is not flush with the car and seems loose. Its not to noticeable but when compared with the driver side there is definitely a difference.

View 7 RepliesSo I recently bought an '09 Elantra for 52K miles. Car's a beauty except the front bumper cover is loose under the headlight on the driver side(got it that way). The first two pics are from the driver side whereas the third shows it in comparison to the passenger (which is totally fine). The gap seems to be getting bigger ever so slightly. What would be the cheapest and easiest fix?
View 1 RepliesThe front of the rear bumper on the driver's side is loose from the main body. The clip on the bumper is ripped from where it tore. I've gone ahead and bought the clips and everything from Lexus near me, but need to know the best epoxy or glue to reconnect the clip area on the bumper so I can apply the clips.
Is the bumper on that spot (the back side of it, not the painted exterior, if that makes sense) fiberglass.
What the square piece on the passenger side of the front bumper, in line with the GTI emblem is? The other day I noticed that it appeared to have popped out slightly. I push it back into place, (it snaps into place) but i again noticed today after my commute home it had slightly popped out again. What does this cover and has any experience of it popping out?

View 9 RepliesJust in case the dealer wants to be a jerk and skip fixing the rattles I have on my car, just curious about creaking noises coming from the front doors. I have one that is pretty bad on the passenger side door. It sounds like a small creek, it happens when i go through roads that are not perfect. The noise goes away if I push against the door panel, not so much when I yank it in. I currently have a broken driver seat too, so hard to pinpoint if I have the exact same problem on the driver side front door, but the creaking is the same.
View 14 RepliesSo I washed my car today.. was wiping it a little and noticed that the right side of front bumper was loose.. then a closer inspection showed that I can lift it! I didn't collide into anything whatsoever, maybe from speed bumps or potholes?

All of a sudden, I started hearing a croaking sound (just like a tiny frog's!) from somewhere on the passenger side front panel. Took out the items in the glove box, but the sound does not go away and drives me nuts...

View 6 RepliesI have recently replaced all 4 struts in my car with monroe quick struts. I have a 2002 Accord. Everything went wonderful until a few weeks later I heard a rattle from the front passenger side. Its a light "tinny" rattle, almost as if a bolt was loose and it was jiggling around. It doesn't happen every time and sometimes goes away altogether. I took it to my trusted mechanic, and they spend a good 45 minutes inside looking at things and overtightened everything to no avail. I have ruled out a defective strut (as I replaced it with one and the new one does the same thing) and I ruled out the stabilizer bar bushing (brand new OEM part I installed) and I ruled out the sway bar link (also new).
View 4 RepliesI have a 2012 SE v6 with 1600 miles on it. About a week ago, I noticed my bumper cover pulled away from the corner of the headlight and there was a noticeable gap. I pushed on it, and heard a click. The bumper stayed in place. After a couple days driving, it came loose again. I didnt touch it so the Service Writer would see it first hand. Of course, his first instinct was to puch on it, but I got loud quickly, so he kept his hands to himself, and heard me out. I knew if he clicked it back into place I would be SOL. He admitted something needed to be done, not just click it back.
When I picked it up, he said it was a known issue, and there is a TSB on it. He claimed they replaced a bracket. The invoice reads, "ADDED FELT TO TIGHTEN FIT". Yeah, Im sure that will hold just long enough for them to wash their hands of it.
2013 Prius IV.... I just noticed that my right side rear bumper cover has a 1/4 inch gap between the bumper and the quarter panel. I think it's from me sitting on the bumper while tying up my shoes or something. When I apply downward pressure on the rear bumper, the gap widens. The left side is tighter, but does gap out when downward pressure is applied. In any case, the gap is annoying.

View 11 RepliesAfter traveling on the prehistoric roads (99% of the roads) in DC that have not been maintained since the Stone Age, the front passenger door is rattling (or something in it/within the vicinity) at only 3000miles. It looks like this happened after I started driving on the beltway. The beltway has less potholes than the prehistoric roads BUT on the beltway, you'd be hitting those potholes at 65mph.

View 4 RepliesWe have a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. Over the last year, there has been a humming noise that comes out of the front passenger side under the dashboard. This humming noise starts when the car is in motion (above say 5mph) and then lasts presumably at highway speeds but the road noise sort of block it out. When we come to a stop, the humming noise persists about 5 seconds after we come to a complete stop and then goes away. I checked the tire and it's not rubbing anything and tire pressures are even. We had the tires rotated but the noise still comes from the front passenger side. We had a wheel alignment and the noise still persists. There are no issues with steering or braking.
I think it's probably related to the strut or suspension system? Is there a pump in the area? It's been a year and we've sort of gotten used to the noise, and nothing's broken.
I am the owner of a 2010 Lexus RX350 purchased with the extended warranty.
Recently discovered condensation in my front passenger headlight. The Lexus dealership initially scheduled me for a repair and indicated that my Platinum extended warranty would cover it. However, later received a call and indicated that it would not.
I see that a class-action lawsuit was filed for a similar issue with the 2nd generation (2004 to 2009) Rx series and recalls were eventually sent out.
I do not want the condensation to progress and short circuit my headlamp.
