I listen to AM radio for traffic reports and local news. It constantly fades between HD and normal, and that is very annoying.
If I turn off HD, it automatically returns to HD if I listen to a text message, take a phone call, or change the radio station.
Is there anyway to turn off HD and keep it off, even if it is for short trips?
How do I turn the car off and listen to the radio. I have a push button start.

View 18 RepliesI used the "invisible glass" product with a paper towel (since I was cleaning all my windows first) on the NAV/LCD screen and now it seems to be permanently scratched in many places. I noticed it on the first few wipes back and forth (maybe 3 wipes) and immediately stopped. Tried to clean it gently with clean water immediately and nothing changed.
The sad thing is the scratches extend beyond the screen so not only is it slightly noticeable when the screen is on, its fully noticeable on the sides where there is all that wasted screen real estate.
I treated the AC vents with Lysol sprays as many youtube videos have suggested. The odor went away for the short time then came backs. How to eliminate it permanently beside using air freshener?
View 6 RepliesMy 2003 Lexus GX 470 radio will not turn off, its display is dark, the cd player will not eject and the radio channels do not change. The only way to turn down the sound is on the wheel.
View 4 RepliesEvery time I turn on the radio, or even change the volume, it starts to play a random song in iTunes from my Bluetooth paired iphone. Even if I stop it, and close the app in my phone, if I alter any input on the radio, it begins to play the song on it's own. I've tried to alter settings in the phone (nothing actually applies) and I can't seem to find anything other than disconnecting the phone that will stop it. I do want to have both the phone and music usable..any hints?

View 2 RepliesI all of a sudden starting having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 6s (since September). It has latest operating system.
Now whenever I receive a text or notification on my phone it connects the Bluetooth. It shouldn't at all with app notifications. It then does release the connection.
Nav screen says call in progress. Hanging up phone from steering wheel does nothing. I must turn off Bluetooth on phone to release "the call" and listen to the radio.
My navigation door will not open, and when I turn the radio on, it looks like it is playing - but no sound comes from speakers.
From digging around here, it looks like this could be a fuse problem - but both of these at the same time? Are they the same fuse? Are the fuses I would need to replace in the passenger side or under the hood?
BTW... it was pretty comical getting to the fuse thing in the passenger foot well - I am just over 5 feet tall, so it was easier to do it head down, feet near the headrest of the seat!
I noticed it in my 2014 RX last weekend. I've only had it for a month!

View 4 RepliesNow that we've had negative temps, in the morning on these extreme cold startups, there is a spinning sound coming from the radio / cd that goes for about a minute then doesn't come back. (No cd inside.)
(I'd like to know something before I go into dealer). And no, it's not a subtle sound. Sounds like a cd is trying to eject. And yes, I'm positive it's coming from the radio.
I recently leased a new 13RX350. Something I find really annoying is switching the radio between FM/AM/XM. When I press "mode" on the steering wheel to change from one frequency to the next, the pre-set stations do not follow. What is I mean is if i am listening to XM Radio, and then I press "mode" to switch to FM and want to press the up/down to change the channel, I still get the XM Radio channel. The pre-set list does not change to FM and its such a hassle having to use the control console and scroll up 6 lists of pre-sets to get to FM. I'm wondering why Lexus did not make this more intuitive?

I have driven behind friends with 2015 and 2010 models comparing when signals are lost and mine is significantly worse.

I never really pay attention on this ECO thing until someone drove my car and this ECO green light is disappeared and also I tried to check with the toggle button and it saw the ECO mode is OFF but I cannot figure out how to turn it back on?
I have a Lexus RX350, I notice that whenever I turn my car off it says "Key Battery Low". I obviously know what this means but that message doesn't appear every time I turn the car off.
View 14 RepliesI've recently started a job with a long commute and I've started listening to audiobooks on CD. What is the best way to pause the recording when you turn off the car? If I take the CD out, it loses my place in the book. I'm not sure if it's safe to just shut the car off and leave the CD inside the player. Or if I should pause it and turn it off?
