I know its included on the 2015 RX's but how we can enable/add the lane change blinker (click once and the blinker flashes 3 times) on the 2014RX? Would love this feature - I feel like its a quick plug and play relay but could be wrong.

View 14 RepliesI am wondering if the frequency of the signal to change lanes can be increased from three (3) blips to four (4) or five (5) blips. Mine does only 3 and sometimes I do not find that sufficient - maybe I like to be extra cautious.
I have a Ross-Tech VAG-COM so looking for any way of changing it using that tool. I just do not feel very inclined to go around changing parameters without knowing what the outcome may be. I find the Ross-Tech manual to be rather cryptic.

View 3 RepliesNow i want to know how to change the intensity of DRL when turn on the blinkers. Because when you are using the DRL and turn on the blinker the intensity of DRL drops down , and i want to control that intensity.
I already know how to change the intensity in the DRL , but i don't when turn on the blinker.
Are there any hacks to the "safety" feature which disables Lane Keep Assist in cruise control mode when you don't touch (i.e. turn) the steering wheel for 5-15 sec? Now that is a mod I'd really like more than a NAV override. That thing disabling on me on long stretches of straight highway after 15 sec is absolutely annoying, especially since it does this EVEN WITH my hands on the wheel. To be honest, many times it suddenly disabling on me ended up being more of an overall safety risk than its purpose intended. Also, the thing disables enough on its own due to not being able to sense the lanes where any additional safety almost makes the LKA option useless. The Infinity I owned had a much better LKA lane sensing camera than this Prius. But it can at least be improved a little if we could disable that annoying safety. How it senses that the wheel has turned and try to trick it with a pulse every few secs? Only Prius 5's are installed with LKA.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2012 Prius with Advanced Technology Package. I'd like to always have Lane Keep Assist on. Is there some sort of hidden setting so this comes on by default rather than having to set it every time I start the car?
Also, I don't like the dim feature of the rearview mirror. It comes on by default. Is there a way that it can be set so it is off by default? It is hard enough to see out the rearview sometimes, and the dimmer makes it more difficult for me at night. I don't like having to hit the switch every time I start the car at night.
I have a 14 IS 350. How do I set the lane departure to beep or chime when I'm getting ready to get in another lane and a car is in that lane? I know it beeps when I am reversing and a car is passing.

While driving down the highway yesterday at about 65mph I went to change lanes. As I was changing lanes I gave it a little gas. About half way through the lane change truck jerked like I had just been rear ended. I immediately checked my mirrors to see if I changed lanes in front of some body. No one was around. Truck still ran the same. Everything I'be read seems like similar thing happen to others at slower speed.
In vehicle settings, there is auto relock feature, i set it up to 60 seconds, the guy who did a walk through with us said, if we leave the car unlocked for 60 seconds it will automatically relock itself. Left the car in the garage for about 5 minutes and still didnt unlock. Is auto relock supposed to relock the car when we walk away?

I guess I'm curious where the sensor is just to look and make sure it's not something stupid before going to the garage/dealer.
2015 RX350 with Nav. Is there a way to disable the "auto" function of the intermittent wipers to gain manual control when in intermittent mode?. With the rain sensor and speed sensor, often even with the intermittent control at the fastest setting, the wipers don't swipe often enough. Especially when driving at slower speed or waiting at an intersection, the intermittent swipe takes so long that I must manually turn on the wiper to low speed. This makes no sense to me. Just because I'm driving slow or at an intersection, Lexus thinks I don't need clear vision?
This is the first vehicle with rain and speed sensing wipers and it will be my last. This is not only annoying it's a safety hazard.
Is there a user configurable setting to change this? Or is it something the dealer can disable?
I also have a problem with my left blinker and my break lights. My right blinker works just fine, but my left blinker and break lights will not come on unless I pull the blinker switch forward a bit- as if I'm going to turn my brights on.
View 14 RepliesI am trying to determine if my Auto climate is woking correctly. I have 2012 RX350 with NAV.
I believe when I first got the car that when the Auto button was pressed, the AC light (in the climage screen) came on, and was always on. It could only be turned off by powering the fan speed to zero.
However, I now have this situation:
- Auto A/C Mode On (in custum settings)
Climate control is in manual mode with AC light on.....when I press Auto the A/C light turns off (cannot be turned on by repeated presses of auto)
- Auto A/C Mode Off (in custom settings)
Climate control is in manual mode .....when I press Auto the A/C light stays in current condition either on or off.
Summary: pressing Auto no longer turns on the A/C switch (and I believe it used to)
While the rear hatch is auto closing on my 2015, I can't unlock my doors by grabbing the driver's side door handle. Is this the same for others?

I'd like to pack items on the floor behind the driver's seat but am certain that the "auto away" function that moves the seat all the way back when you turn off the car will crush my items. I checked my manual and my Carista app but nothing about disabling this feature. How to do this?
View 7 RepliesSo over the past week of driving my new 2011 RX350 I have had the auto wipers set to on so when/if it rains they automatically come on. However at random times when there is no rain the wipers come alive an make a sweep across the windshield.
View 14 RepliesMy dealer says the windshield on my 2012 RX 350, which has < 8k miles, has to be replaced in order to fix the auto rain sensing function. Even though it is covered under warranty I'm confused and not happy with this. What is in the windshield that causes the problem? Could it just be the control sensor behind the rear view mirror, which they detached in their troubleshooting?
