Installed Kenwood DDX7701HD unit and I have lost right side speakers. Used Metra Axxess TYTO-1 harness along with ASWC-1. Also had bad battery cell and replaced battery. I get plenty of sound from drivers area but when I adjust balance to right there is no sound at all there. At this point my ASWC-1 cycles through but isn't recognizing radio. That issue can wait unless it is part of this issue.
View 4 RepliesI recently replaced my front door speakers in my 2005 RX330. Upon reassembling everything I had the following issues:
1) The front Passenger side window and rear seat windows would not roll down from the driver's side controls. This issue was resolved by going to each individual window control and rolling the window down halfway and then rolling them all the way up and continuing to press on the window control in the "Up" position for an additional 5 seconds or so.
2) My original Lexus key (non-remote) would work for staring the car, but it would no longer work to unlock the doors by inserting it into the Driver's side door lock and moving the key toward the front of the car.
3) In attempting to resolve issue #2, I disconnected the Car battery for a couple of hours and reconnected it, which leads me to my big problem(s). Now none of my windows will roll down from ANY window control (including the front door driver's window). In addition, the doors can only be locked/unlocked from the Lexus Key Remote or from the front Passenger door lock control.
I have checked all fuses that I could get to (under the hood and under the drivers side dash panel) but I still cannot get the windows or door locks to function normally. I could not get to one big blue fuse under the dash panel right next to the fusebox that I believe is related to the power windows. I am not sure if it also fuses the sunroof, which DOES function. I pulled the Negative Battery cable off a second time and did another reset but to no avail.
It appears that the security system is somehow shut down. None of buttons on wireless FOB [main key] is working to open the door etc. even though the red indicator lights up. If I use the key, it opens the doors fine. The powerdoor controls inside the car are working fine. I did notice that security light on the dashboard is not blinking anymore.
The car was idle for three-four weeks and it didn't start so I gave a jump with portable unit. Could that do any damage to fuse etc.?
I just bought an RX 330 recently and the mirror on the driver side is not working. Not even when I tried to do some minor adjustment to the mirror before I drive the car. I do not hear any motor running or any sound when I push on the mirror adjustment button (and yes, I did put the switch to the left). So does this mean the motor that controlling the mirror is out...or dead? Do I need to replace the motor or the whole mirror--the motor and frames as well? If I do need to replace this, does it considered as a "mechanical break down" since it's the motor that is failing?
View 14 RepliesI have a 2005 RX330 that is fully loaded (Navigation, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls). About 6 months ago almost all of the technology stopped working. The navigation ask for a repair disk. The bluetooth stopped working. The radio still works, but recently it has been spotty, like you will turn on the car and the radio will not work, and no matter how much you turn the volume up or down no sound will come on until you turn the car off and turn it back on.
View 2 RepliesAlright i have one here to stump everyone.... My uncle called me and his 05 f150 STX left speakers both front and back aren't working. I took a look at it the other day, i switched his radio with my radio from my 06 f150 stx, then I switched my front speaker out. Didn't work. I looked at his back speaker and the magnet on the speaker was stuck in the door. I checked fuses and don't see any blown.

View 3 RepliesHow to reset/re-program my original key. It all started when the plastic casing of the key broke off and tried to use the original spare key wallet type with transponder and key dont go all the way in the ignition and key get stuck in one position but manage to get it out. Tried to put the broken one with the transponder close to it and will not start. Luckily i still have another original key that works. I have change the battery of the broken one and fabricated new housing made of brass and have tried the remote and it doesnt work too.
View 12 RepliesAwhile back I did get my battery replaced and I did reset my windows so they could be used from the driver side panel. As of now, I can roll down all of them from the driver side except for the passenger side rear (window diagonal from driver). The window does roll down from the door itself so the window isn't broken. The light on the driver window switch is lit green, not blinking. However, the light on the window switch on the passenger door is NOT lit and not blinking either. And yes, I did make sure the window lock was not on.
Could the switch, either passenger or driver door, be bad? Should the battery be disconnected and reconnected??
Recently my 05 RX330 had the driver side low beam bulb go out. I took it to a few places and they said take it to the dealership as they have special tools to change it. Of course I took it there and they were ready to charge me an arm and a leg to get 1 little bulb replaced. My question is do you have recommendations as to what I should do to get this fixed and not have my wallet get destroyed?
View 8 RepliesWhenever I put my 05 RX 330 into reverse the door mirrors do not angle down. I just bought this vehicle 3 weeks ago and when I first got it they worked fine. Did my wife or myself accidentally turn this feature off? Is there a way to check them?
View 4 RepliesI have Rx 330 2005 AWD, recently we dont have winters, so I don't need 4x4 . Is it possible to drive without the back drive shaft? It very easy to remove it, but is it save for e.g. differential or other mechanisms? By the way I could reduce fuel consumption, I think, 18miles/gallon is really too much for polish realities.

View 14 RepliesSo I just replaced the stock head unit in my 2005 ford f150 with a brand new Sony one. Install went pretty smooth and I had every thing working pretty quick. So about an hour after the install I got in my truck to drive home and everything was working fine until about 5 minutes into driving all the door speakers just stopped working.
(Music was not blaring). Sub still works but that's it. No sound from the door speakers what so ever. I checked the fuse and the head unit. And all the fuses related to audio in the fuse box. Everything looks normal. Head unit powers on fine. Just no sound from any door speakers. The only thing that plays sound is the sub.
The whole right side speakers do not work on my 2006 gx470, its not the control screen it the speakers. I hear it could be the amp? Any info out there?
View 4 RepliesThis just started happening two weeks ago but it occurred 4 times already. When i first turn the car on sometimes the back speakers pop/crackle loudly and one time it occurred that the radio was not operational for about five minutes after the loud popping occurred. I have a full platinum lexus coverage on the vehicle but the issue is the dealership cannot replicate the problem with the car. On most of the post ive seen that the issue is most likely the amp. I was wondering if there is a way to replicate the issue at hand or am i going to have to records this and show it to the dealer.

PO, had a pioneer H/U installed, however the 4 rear speakers have no sound.
The rear of the radio seems to have everything plugged into it correctly.
My steering wheel controls work fine.
I'm guessing the rear volume/controller is canceling out the rear speakers???
If so what can I do to make the speakers play? I don't need the rear control to work.
Driver side rear seat speakers are not working. Are they on a fuse? Haven't had time to look over the owner's manual. If not fused what else could be happening?
View 4 RepliesI can find some references to unsatisfactory sound and whining noises in the speakers, but not dead ones. The wife called me the other day, annoyed, and said that the speakers stopped working in the Treg. It appears that it is the left side, both front and back. They came back on for a little while, but now have been "dead" for a couple days. There is an occasional "pop" from the left side, but that is all.
View 2 Repliesi have a lexus gs430 model 2008 , one day i started the car and noticed that the speakers not working at all ! not for seat belt alarm , not for the day date , not for radio , cd player , nav , also when i rise the volume up the volume number indicator do not appear on screen . before this situation the speakers were working perfectly fine .
