View 4 RepliesI got a 2008 LS460L. I replaced the daytime running lights but they flicker and don't stay on.. I'm looking to change them again any brand which works best. I want 6000k in headlights and fog lights.
View 5 RepliesI am attempting to wire a set of LED daytime running lights and was hoping to go through the fuse box. No luck so far trying to find a 12 volts that turns on when the key is turned.I have tried to tie into the fuse on both the radio fuses and the fog light fuse. There is 12 volts even when the key is not turned so when I wired the lights off these fuses , it would light the leds all the time. Is there another fuse box?
View 1 RepliesMy parents have a 2007 RX350 and they had the airbag light come on once in a while. I have the car right now so I could figure out the issue for them and get it fixed.
The light wouldn't come on for the first couple days and it off today for a while until I move the seat fully backward and then forward. After I restarted the vehicle the light came on.
I got to work and tried tightening all connectors under the seat and the light did go off and stay off but I didn't drive it after that.
When the light is on it blinks in the 1-second on / 1-second off pattern. When my dad's friend-mechanic checked it out, he said that the description of the code he could read was something like "open [squib] circuit connector", unfortunately, he can't remember.
Is it possible if Lexus can make it so when the Daytime running lights are on that the tail lights come on? It appears MASS has just passed a law when it is raining and you have your windshield wipers on you have to have your lights on...I leave mine on Auto and have auto windshield wipers so kinda takes away the purpose if I have to turn my lights all the way on each time.
View 5 RepliesIs there a way to turn the daytime running lights off?
2004 Tourareg V8x....
While DRLs are great where you need them (northern countries, rainy places) some people don't want them on all the time. The Gen1 Prius (2001-2003) with Factory DRL's is a bit a pain to defeat. You cannot just pull a fuse or relay and the main DRL relay is a complicated unit that is burried far far under the dash.
View 2 RepliesI have ES350, year 2007, Ultra Premium package, I love this car .I am thinking if its possible to change the Halogen daytime running light bulb with an LED bulb?
As a longtime Camry owner I am used to with replacing light bulbs by myself. is it possible to do this one by myself?Current configuration of bulb as per manual: Halogen Bulb, H7, W55.
Just noticed that the passenger side daytime running light is out. There is no warning message shown on the dash? Is this normal?
View 2 RepliesIs their anyway to get the tail lights to come on with the Daytime driving lights ....
View 1 RepliesI live in Canada and a few months ago I purchased a used 2011 Prius III from a Dodge dealer in Arizona. Part of the Canadian RIV import requirements was to have daytime running lights installed in the car. I figured since I'd have Canadian Tire do it because they're also the ones doing the provincial and federal inspections. So they installed a module something like this: Daytime Running Light System | Canadian Tire
View 1 RepliesI've tried it every way I can think of and I can't get my daytime running lights to turn off. I have the base model gti so I don't have buttons on my steering wheel. the manual says to push the left wand down and to the back. then turn on the ignition for three seconds......doesn't do anything. I am thinking they left out a step or forgot something counting wise?
View 19 RepliesI've never been a fan of daytime running lights, useless option that shortens the life of the bulbs. My Audi A8L had an option in the MMI that would allow you to turn the DRL's off. Is there a similar option on the 04 Phaeton W12? Or is there a fuse I can pull? Or is VAG-COM the only way (I don't have one yet - not in my immediate budget)?
View 7 RepliesThey are ok but would rather have them off.
View 8 RepliesI would like to turn off my daytime running lights using vagcom. Its a 2000 sedan.
View 6 RepliesThe search function does not work at the moment. Turn off daytime running lights (DRL)? I have an 05 Touareg with bi-xenon lighting. Would like to disengage the DRLs...
View 10 RepliesLet me start off by saying I have removed the TFL pin and I am doing it on the euroswitch. But the suckers still keep coming here is the catch I have Xenons installed on my car and the bulbs are not the cheapest to replace. I installed the Xenons from an audi TT. Also if I need a VAG computer or tech I got acces to that too.
View 2 RepliesWhat kind of bulb goes in the DRL's? Also, what's the easiest way to replace them?
View 3 RepliesHow can I disable the day time running lights, did search....
View 11 RepliesHow to disable DRL-
1) Find the little black box to the right of the battery.
2) Remove cover
3) Pull the smaller of the 3 middle Relay/fuse out.
Actually if the engine was on, it would feel hot to touch, because the resister is taking some of the load from the DRL. The other two Relays are for the coolant fans + Brake.
I got my LED DRL kit today, the harness has 3 wires red(+), black(-), and white(for connect to (+) of headlight so when headlight on the drl will go off). So I will connect black wire to negative of battery or ground, red wire to ACC or ign. So my question is how can I find ACC and how can I connect white wire to (+) of headlights? My led drl kit is similar with the kit in the link: [URL] ...
