The voice commands mistakenly turned on my dinning icons when I said something else. I tired googling how to remove them but nothing seems to work.
-remove all icons
-hide all icons
-delete all icons
-icons
List goes on and on. The system doesn't recognize any of the commands. What is the proper voice command to turn the icons off. Or even just turn them off manually.
What is the voice command to turn Nav screen on/off? In my previous LS430, it was "screen on/off".

I'm in sport+ manual and the second the car starts sliding the stability light starts flashing. Is there no way of turning it off? (I have a AWD if that makes a different.
View 3 RepliesThere is 68F outside and I wanted to heat up inside to 78F inside. But the climate control shows me the AC is ON as soon as I turn the fan ON. Why is that? Is the AC really turning on and stays on?
I noticed, because the air from the center vent wasn't particularly warm and the cabin didn't get warm as fast as I would expect. In other cars I would just turn the heat ON max and gradually turn it back, but it is not what I am observing here. I feel the hot air coming from the left vent only - the one next to driver door, but the center vents are barely warm. So I have 2 question here really.
1. Why is the AC indicator on climate control window showing the AC is ON when I am using the heater?
2. Is the AC turning ON always with that indicator turning ON?
My front driver side wheel is making clicking, ticking noise whenever I turn right. I am not sure what it is. Other than the clicking and ticking noise when turning, the car itself is running fine.

Whenever I back out of the driveway or make a u-turn the car seems the front wheels seems to be making this thumping noise and you can really feel it too. I did some research and found that some other cars do this too. Like this [URL] ...-the-wrong-way for example.

I'm really impressed with how easy entering an address is (and how accurate the voice recognition is), but could not find a command that would allow me to directly find a route to a business name.
I'm looking at purchasing a 2014 ES300h. I have a couple voice command questions.
1. Can you adjust the cabin temperature by saying "driver temperature 67" ...
2. Can you adjust the radio by saying "XM Watercolors" ...
2015 AWD. How do you fully turn off the traction control?
Seems like i can press the button and it comes back in a minute. I tried holding it down.
Also, the seat belt chime. I take off my belt once I get in a parking lot, and the chime is annoying as hell.
So the problem is that when I turn fairly sharp I can feel the front tires grabbing and slipping a bit, especially on wet roads. I have the car at the dealership for the first scheduled maintenance and asked them to look at that. I know that 4wd vehicles can do this grab and slip because the tires rotate differently when engaged and turning tightly. The issue is that I never felt this in my EVO at all.

Second, when I brake I feel a thump as I release from the brakes, is that normal?

Except for the turn flasher indicators. 2006 model, 271,000 miles. Is this a recall item? I think I remember something about this being recalled. I might add it got really cold last night, about 6 degrees, and my car was parked outside.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2001 seville. The problem that I have is that the abs and traction icons come on the dash sporadically. When this happens the ventilation system shuts down. When the lights go out ,the ventilation system works fine. The dealership tells me that the two systems are not connected. They tell me that I need a new module. I would like to hear other diagnoses of the problem and repair.
View 1 RepliesI have 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS. From time the icons for the brake and abs do not go off after the car starts up. I'll be driving for anywhere between a few minutes to an hour or so and they well go off and an audio tone goes off. Sometimes they will not come back on for the remainder of my trip, at other times times they will appear again then go off again. There is no indication that there is anything wrong with the brakes. Also, when the icons go off and the heater is on the fan will accelerate. What may be going on?
View 1 RepliesBought a new Prius in 2005. In April 2010 (157,000km / 98000m) the triangle and engine icons warning lights came on. After about two weeks in the workshop, I was informed that the main battery went. Two months later (161,000km) the same warning lights came on again. Toyota agents informed me that now it is the water pump not circulating water through the engine. Toyota on its website states that the batteries should last the entire life of the vehicle. Is it possible that battery problem was wrongly diagnosed, and, that in fact, it was the water pump giving the problem in the first place?
