So it's Christmas Eve, fresh snow and an empty parking lot but I can't figure out how to turn off VSC. I held down Trac off for 3 seconds for the "Off" symbol to light up on my dash. I'm in sport+ manual and the second the car starts sliding the stability light starts flashing. Is there no way of turning it off? (I have a AWD if that makes a different.
View 3 RepliesTook my engine cover off and now trying to snap it back on and I can't seem to find the points where it clicks back into place. The top middle has a latch but my bottom half especially the right side is loose and I can't figure out where the snap into place points are.
View 2 RepliesThe voice commands mistakenly turned on my dinning icons when I said something else. I tired googling how to remove them but nothing seems to work.
-remove all icons
-hide all icons
-delete all icons
-icons
List goes on and on. The system doesn't recognize any of the commands. What is the proper voice command to turn the icons off. Or even just turn them off manually.
There is 68F outside and I wanted to heat up inside to 78F inside. But the climate control shows me the AC is ON as soon as I turn the fan ON. Why is that? Is the AC really turning on and stays on?
I noticed, because the air from the center vent wasn't particularly warm and the cabin didn't get warm as fast as I would expect. In other cars I would just turn the heat ON max and gradually turn it back, but it is not what I am observing here. I feel the hot air coming from the left vent only - the one next to driver door, but the center vents are barely warm. So I have 2 question here really.
1. Why is the AC indicator on climate control window showing the AC is ON when I am using the heater?
2. Is the AC turning ON always with that indicator turning ON?
My front driver side wheel is making clicking, ticking noise whenever I turn right. I am not sure what it is. Other than the clicking and ticking noise when turning, the car itself is running fine.

Seems like i can press the button and it comes back in a minute. I tried holding it down.
Also, the seat belt chime. I take off my belt once I get in a parking lot, and the chime is annoying as hell.
So the problem is that when I turn fairly sharp I can feel the front tires grabbing and slipping a bit, especially on wet roads. I have the car at the dealership for the first scheduled maintenance and asked them to look at that. I know that 4wd vehicles can do this grab and slip because the tires rotate differently when engaged and turning tightly. The issue is that I never felt this in my EVO at all.

View 7 RepliesI have a 04 W12 that is having trouble recognizing that it is in park. when i shut the car off and go to remove the key it says please place in park. i purchased a known electrical gremlin car so i am chalking it up to that but should probably fix it. it also does not detect the speed the car is traveling so no digital speedo/ accompanying readings. other than that it is pretty solid. haven't noticed any other "glitches" the park problem is new started yesterday. i have had the car for 2+ months and love it. i have been looking for a W12 for some time now. a

My dealer told me where the AUX jack is (I have a non iPod MP3 player), but I don't see anything in the manual about how I get it to work. Not that I have tried yet, I need to go and get a male-male stereo jack first. But I don't see any button on the non-nav stereo in the car that points to enabling the AUX jack.

What i'm trying to do is get the chrome to black but cannot figure out a safe way to remove them to either wrap in black vinyl, paint or just replace with black strips. View 10 RepliesSo yesterday I installed a Kenwood Double Din with a back up camera....that being said I was in and around the car all day, door panels, trim panels, rear bumper etc etc all removed. After completing the install the "Door Ajar" light stayed on, on the dash. No interior lights remained on to show a doors open, and the trunk light goes out when the doors closed. The drivers side door module is no good, and its been no good for a few months now. It doesn't show when the doors open, so i doubt that is the problem. What it could be? Any way to figure out which door is the one that's staying open?

Most other new cars have this feature - wasn't sure if there was a way for me to install it on my Golf.
I have a 2015 Golf S w/sunroof and lighting package.
So I had to replace a front ten signal bulb the other day and with almost no pressure, one of the small plastic tabs on the bulb socket broke off when I was trying to seat the new bulb into the headlight housing. The plastic socket looks like it's own piece that's removable from the wiring harness, but my dealer tells me it comes as a kit with the whole headlight housing and I'd have to replace the whole thing.

I have a led replacement flasher, but clip mounts and pin locations don't line up? I watch the video but I have nothing in area! Or I just need to install the resistors? Or it could be a combination circuit assembly where multiple function module all in one ?
