Lexus LS 2007+ :: Moonroof - AFT Section Not Flush With The Roof

I have a 2012 LS 460. When the moonroof is closed the aft section is not flush with the roof. It's about 1/4 inch low. I don't think this is normal.

While searching here for information on changing the brake fluid, I came across a thread that stated: You need a Lexus scan tool to bleed the brakes properly. I've bled brakes and other cars without having a scan tool. I've never bled the brakes on my 09 ES350.

Only had my 2011 LS about a month now.
Other cars I have seen will allow you to use the remote and close all windows and moon roof. Looking at the LS460 manual it looks like the dealer can program our remote to open the windows and moon roof with the remote. But it does not say anything about closing.
Also a question on the Navigation. Can you change the default screen to the Information screen? Mine always goes straight to the map when I start up. Could not find a place to change it.

How to drop the roof panel on a 2007 ultra - luxury....have an annoying "cracking soon" at the top front area of the sunroof. It does not appear to be the sunroof as I still get the sound when the roof is open and I'm going over an uneven area...say driveway onto the road. I would like to have a look but don't want to damage the air curtain bags.

I picked up a 09 ls460 swb a few months back and am slowly turning it into my daily.
at an angle causes a loud popping noise from my roof. I checked the headliner to see if anything was loose but came up with nothing. This occasionally happens on sharp turns on uneven ground.
I recently lowered my car so now this is happening way too often.
Lexus ES 2007-12 :: Glass Roof Edges Peel In Cold Weather
My 2007 ES UL has started to peel at the edge of the glass of the rear roof panel. It was originally just at the rear corner and I assumed it must have been scratched and the due to dryness started to peel. Then I noticed it at the other rear corner. I asked them to look at it at the dealer and the service advisor told me it was from the UV rays which dried it out, and not to worry about it. I bought and applied einszett gummi pflege stift to those corners and all seemed well.
Now that it got colder here in NY the corners again began to pop up but today I see it's started to pop out very much in the middle of the panel which seemed fine before!! The SA had told me that this (gasket, molding) comes attached to the roof and to fix it I'd have to replace the panel! I'm scared my UL is sick of the panoramic roof just for show and wants to be able to open.

I know you can close all windows and moon roof by holding down the lock button on the outside door handles

Having issue with a moon roof rattle in the up position, sounds as if the glass is loose. If I slightly close the rattle stops. Not sure if I want lexus taking apart the moon roof/ head liner to repair. I may just live with it, but would like to get it looked at. 2011 LS 460 sport.

I am experiencing heavy wobble,front section from 5 to 20 kmh , , like an unbalanced washing machine starting the spin cycle And again milder around 60 to 80 kmh. This is after tire change over to michelin pilot hx mxm4 65% thread .. professionally balanced .
I could still feel it with the blizzaks at low speeds, but way way less. Both sets are 225 50 r17 93v 35psi on original mags as per book
I was wondering if it could have any thing to do with tire wear geometry, or perhaps drive shafts ,but no clicks or noise from them.

So I've seen a lot of people on here wrapping the mid section of the front bumper black to give it a more aggressive look.
For those that have done this, will I need to cut a hole for the sensors or will the sensors still work with the wrap covering them?
Lexus RX 2010-15 :: One Touch Feature Of Moonroof Is Gone
Our 2012 RX350 was recently in for collision repair (minor) at the dealer's shop and upon return all is well except that the one touch feature of the moonroof is gone. The open/close and up/down buttons all seem to do both functions now. I can't find reset procedure.

I have left my moonroof open at least 10 times in 2 months! When you turn the car off and open the doors there to get out, the car doesn't give any warning sound to remind you that the moonroof is open! just a little msg on the cluster which I never look at n e way. even worse when I lock the car the roof wouldn't automatically close. My friend has F-20 328i and his moonroof closes automatically when he locks his doors. is there any setting in the car to fix this issue?

I recently had my Transmission flushed at 90K (beyond the 75k). I had my Struts replaced and Full differential service. They found the Carrier bearing Center Ring was blown out said my truck was fine to drive until the part came in. I drove my truck home and it wasn't until I put about 20 miles on my truck did my truck start to slam into 2nd gear. It goes gentle if I accelerate slowly and eases with I turn the OD off ( but I only tried a few times). I have tried a few forums and there are so many things that it could be.
Everything was fine until I had this servicing and they took my truck apart. On a separate unrelated issue I have a check battery light on, but it is a brand new battery. I had my stereo changed out a year ago and the shop said it was the battery failing (only 1.5yrs old). Just though I would throw that in just in case a COMPUTER issue gets thrown out there. My truck has been running fine before all this SERVICING was performed...
Lexus GX 2004-09 :: Have To Press And Hold Button To Open Or Close Moonroof
Recently, I have had a problem with my moon-roof, this is the second time this has happened. Normally when you press the open button, the roof slides all the way open, slides all the way closed and sealed when you close it. It also opens when you remotely open all the windows. OK, for some reason it stopped doing that! You have to press and hold the open-button to open or close it, and when you close it, it won't seal right unless you tap the button just right as it closes. When you open all the windows remotely, the moonroof remains closed.
The first time it started doing this, I took it to my friend's independent Lexus service center (now defunct) and Lee did something with the button to reprogram it and the moonroof worked as before. Recently it stopped working again. I don't know if I pressed something I shouldn't have or what! I assume that there is a way to reset/reprogram the moon-roof, just like there is a way to set the doors to lock - unlock when you shift the car into drive or park? What can I do to save an expensive Lexus dealer reset? My car is 2004, Levi/navi and loaded.
Lexus GX 2004-09 :: TB And Power Steering Flush Method
Had my 06' into the dealer and the SA asks me if I want the TB and Power Steering Flushed. He knows me and I could tell he wasn't convinced it was worth it. Don't know how to flush the Power Steering Fluid. I've done the turkey baster method on my 330 but never the full flush. What PS fluid should I use?
