Lexus LS 2007+ :: How To Turn ECON Dash Light Off

The wife and I just brought home her new LS460L and she really hates that ECON light in the dash. We both read the manuals and we found several references to why it is there but none on how to turn it off. I can get the on off toggle to come up in the display but we can't get it to the off position.

I have both a 2010 Prius and a new v and have just noticed that if you press the 'Econ' button once, the little light goes on in the dashboard. If you press it again, the little light goes off. The same occurs with the 'pwr' button.

The VSC dash light that's been consistently illuminating the past couple of weeks. The light never tripped prior to the car's battery dying. When the battery died, and the car wouldn't start, I disconnected the negative terminal, and charged the battery. Upon charging, the car started, but that is when the VSC light started illuminating.
I have an OBD II reader (craftsman) and saw that there was a failure to start code which was probably when I tried to start the car with the weak battery. There are other readiness codes (which I will have to get from my phone if you guys think they may be relevant). I cleared the failure to start code, but the light is still illuminated.
Specs: 2010 ES 350, ~68,000 miles

When I started my car this morning, I noticed a warning light I've never seen. I looked it up and it doesn't even show it anywhere. My car is driving just fine. I'm calling the dealership shortly.

My 2007 LS460L dash light shows VSC system check needed by dealer. What does this mean? When the warning comes, the cruise control and break-hold don't work.

Couple days ago it's -24C and I jump in car and head off to hardware store. Shop for 30 min and return and start the car. Starts ok but I notice that I have all sorts of warning lights on dash (ABS, Airbag, Parking Brake) and no power to my center console ie radio, climate stuff, fan etc. Also I can't move the shifter from Park.
Car's running so I dig out the manual to check the warning lights info and look at the fuse diagram cause maybe it's a blown fuse. Anyway 3-4 min after this, the power starts coming back to my center console, I hear the radio, then the fan then everything seems back to normal, except i still have dash warning lights and no shift action out of Park.
A few minutes later my dash warning lights start to go out, one at a time until only the ABS light is on. And my shifter now works. I wait a few minutes, make sure I have brakes, and drive home. Start it a few hours later and all is normal. And has been since.
A few days previous to that, in -27C weather my brakes froze and I had to do some serious pumping to get them to unfreeze. Maybe the two event are related.

2007 ls 460 l - Warning light on dash: Check VSC system. Happens intermittently. When it is on, the cruise control does not work and the break-hold is off.

2009 ES350. Couple of months ago I have driving down the high way and a ton of light popped up on the dash. (CEL tracking VSC) After another 50 miles it developed a miss. Next morning the miss went away and it but all the lights were still on. Auto zone said misfire so I figured I need to change plugs(65k on the motor) well 100 miles into coming home the mis fire comes back. and we make it home. Next day same thing.....
I change the plugs.... disconnect the computer and it was good for a couple hundred miles and BAM!! it starts all over. CEL on... I noticed if I stay city driving it doesn't get to the miss fire point. but if I do any kind of highway driving it'll eventually develop a miss.
I check it again and it showed 2 and 4 mis fire, I picked up 3 coils put them all on the front. It ran good for 350 miles and bam here it is again. Last Sunday I started up the car and it just started misfiring at idle. well I went to check it at autozone coz it was really bad. and it had 4 cylinders misfiring total.
Well in the mean time getting it checked the light were on it wouldn't start. so I just bought a battery. (it had been having battery issues over the last couple months) I don't want wifey to be stranded somewhere with the baby.
I'm new to these news lexus's.. Ive had 2 Is 300's and my daughter has a gs 300. Do I need to use a specific spark plug for the 350? Would the dying battery contribute to this?
I did find the air box was not closed properly by the oil change company wifey uses. so I thought that was an issue but it cam one at the 350 mile mark. What else to try..

After I turn the car off the "PARK" light in the Dash stays lit for about 6 seconds after all the other lights have turned off. Is this normal?
I will advise, I have the parking brake set to auto and the car seems to be functioning normally.

Both key fobs are acting the same way. The car wont turn on unless the key fob is in the dash. the rear hatch won't open unless the unlock button it is pushed twice then the rear hatch can be opened.
I did some searching and its looking like the 12v battery could be causing this. its an 3 year old optima.
Also we had about a 7-8 mpg drop on the last tank of gas.
car has 122k on it. its an 2007.

Coming back from a trip I got a e-brake light show up on the dash then noticed the signals stopped working and the heated seats no longer turn on. I scanned it with my AE and got a brake fluid sensor error come up but nothing about the signals .... is this a common problem or is there a connection between all this? 2003 F350 6.0L .....

I'm having starter issues with my santa fe. After changing the battery and doing some trouble-shooting I narrowed my problem down to one of the relays in the engine compartment.
Almost every morning when I go to start my car the dash lights are dead and the engine wont turn over. I smack a bit on the relays it will start up and until today keep running for the rest of the day.
Tonight it stalled on me in traffic and I got to experience the enjoyment of smacking my relays on the highway. I am thinking either moisture or a faulty relay with intermittent signals might be the culprit.

The last couple of days when I started the car it didn't turn over immediately as it normally does. Now when I turn the key the dash symbols all come on; radio, lights, etc work fine. I hear a strange close sound like lite weight metal fluttering which continues as long as the key is turned to start. But nothing beyond that.

I just bought my new 2010 Prius the day before I went on a 300 mile trip out of state. Dealer showed me the eco mode, which sounded like a good idea to me. Drove on the expressway, about 70 mph, decided lots of power was not necessary and I wanted the best mpg so I put the car in Eco mode. Drove great for about 250 miles, then all of a sudden, I began to lose power. Fortunately, I was nearing a rest park. Pulled in, was there long enough to take care a Rest Park business, started back up and car ran fine. BUT I did not use Eco mode. Question: When should I use this mode and when should I not?

I got into my car and pressed the start button. All the lights on the dash came on but nothing happened. I tried to jump start the battery. Nothing. I got a volt meter from someone at the club and found that the battery was fine. I called the Lexus dealer close to me. They told me it was the in the key. Just hold the key close to the start button and it will start. Did this and nothing. I did not get the indicator light that the car cannot find the key. Every time I press the start button, I hear on click from the engine then nothing. I think maybe the starter. I had the car toed to the Lexus dealer since I have the extended warranty. I changed the battery about two months ago after the car was dead late one Sat. night in a parking garage. But I jump started it and drove it home. Replaced battery and everything was fine until today.

I got into my car headed to work this morning and after backing out of the garage, noticed that my dash is cracking and peeling up around the windshield. (2008 600h L)

Now that the cold weather is here, I am finding more and more issues. Besides a clunk in the rear that I have to have looked at, I have the dreaded dash popping. I have read to use felt and jam it between the window.
Also it seems like the headliner is popping too? Haven't heard of that. I plan on bringing it to the dealer after the holidays for the rear clunk, but will they fix any of this under platinum warranty?

So I got my 92 Celica GT 2.2 Motor Auto (unfortunately for now). Back off my wife's uncle and it wont crank or anything. I also noticed that now when you push the brake, it still wont let u shift it out of park. If you try to start the car it does nothing, however the brake light on the dash shows up. I am thinking it may be the starter as all the relays and fuses look ok. I am thinking it could be the ignition switch as it wont let me shift out of park without using the release button, but am not sure where I should start.
