I just picked up a 2009 LS 460. It's my third LS, but first 460. How to keep the NAV display on audio? It keeps going back to the map. The other day it stayed on the audio screen, and I'm looking for a way to keep the map from coming back. I don't have a destination programmed.

I have a 2010 LS 460 and would like to know if it is possible to have a split screen with Navigation and Audio? My Navigation screen appears to be the default, after 30 seconds the audio screen returns to the map.

I keep seeing photos of the nav screen like the one attached. I would like to have the map on one side and audio on the other as shown but after several trips through the manual, I am stumped as to how get it like this. I know the nav screen was changed on the 2014 and mine is a 2013 so that might be the problem.

On the Nav. screen, when I switch my audio screen to the main screen from the side screen, it only stays on for a few seconds, and the map reappears on the main screen. Is there a way to lock the main screen to audio, and use the side screen for one of the other tasks?
View 3 RepliesBig navigation screen it totally blank. Not able to turn on radio. When you start the car you see Lexus logo, then you get warning text after this text its completely black. Backups camera is working and small screen is working. I looked at Navigation fuse, TV fuse they all look good.

Today when I was driving on the highway, all the sudden the audio display screen (no navigation) was turned off by itself, but I still hear the sounds from the speakers. all the buttons were not working. after few minutes, the display system seems reboot itself, then it was frozen at start screen with only shows the Lexus logo on it. until I pulled over and restarted the car, it was back to normal.

View 3 RepliesIs there anyway to have the audio screen remain permanently on view? On my 2010 Prius, the screen view changes back to another screen after about 15 seconds. I would like the audio screen to remain on view so I can make changes between various presets. I know I can do this with the buttons on the steering wheel, but this may involve lots of button pushing. I also want to be able to flip between the presets and the text view (which shows me artist and song title.
View 1 RepliesBeginning yesterday, my touch screen and radio work only part of the time. It started with the radio just going silent for a few seconds at a time. Today, and this seems odd, I can mostly make it fail by starting car with foot on brake. I can mostly make touch screen and radio work normally by starting it with with foot off the brake. I considered fuse, which is unlikely, but... According to manual, touch screen and audio are on same fuse as clock, and clock is working fine.

It has the AUX button ,but it doesn't have any aux audio port in the dash anywhere like some of the nicer F-series have. When I push the AUX button, the screen reads "NO AUX AUDIO". Is there an adapter I can buy to plug in the back so I can actually have and auxiliary input?

View 8 RepliesI'm having a very strange problem with my air conditioning unit that the dealer has never seen before. Each time I start up the car, the air conditioner initially fails to turn on. It seems to try to start up for about a minute. The green A/C light comes on, but no air blows out. Then, after about a minute, a message shows up on the nav screen saying "Air Conditioner off". The green light also turns off.
If I then press the A/C button again, the green light comes on, and after about 15 seconds, the air starts to blow and the unit appears to be fine.
This process happens consistently, each and every time I start up the car. The only time it may not go through this cycle is if I just turned the car off within the last few minutes and then start it up again, in which case the air conditioning seems to work fine.
I suspect when I went to the dealer, they did not pay much attention to what was happening the first time they started the car, and then on each successive restart, the symptom failed to reappear because the A/C unit seems to start fine if it was just running within the last few minutes.
What is the voice command to turn Nav screen on/off? In my previous LS430, it was "screen on/off".

I find it strange that my navigation home screen has the dealership name and logo on starting up the car so I figure that it could be set or change.
Is there a video or guide on how to do it? I want to put my family picture as the start up home screen.
My navigation system changed on my 2010 LS460. Suddenly I have dots showing the roads I have traveled along whether I am using the navigation system or not. Also, when I input an address and it gives me 3 options (Quick, Alternate etc) the 3 options are greyed out and it will only go to Quick.
View 4 RepliesThis morning opn my way to work, ny nav screen suddenly developed quarter inch vertical lines in my screen. Apparently this can be a navigation software issue. The screen itself is fine, as I can bring up other screens onto the display. Just not nav, audio and I forget which others. The "Disp" screen and the "menu" screens come up no problem.
I haven't checked fuses yet, but this seems a little coincidental that it started a few days after installing my ivic-d module.
I got an 07 LS460 without navi but it still comes with a screen. Last week, the display started to work only intermittently and got pretty pissed. Last night was driving without the screen, but when a passenger stepped in, the jolt kinda made it work all over again. However, this morning it didn't work again.
I brought it to the stealership today and they claimed that the fuses are all working and its the screen that is spoiled and has offered to replace it for about 12kUSD. What do you recommend me doing. But first I am gonna try to remove the battery for 20mins tonight to see if it gets better.
What is the problem and fix when you have a check air conditioner msg scroll across the GPS screen?
