Can you customize the Navigation Home Screen? Is it possible to do it on the 2015 Lexus LS 460 ?
I find it strange that my navigation home screen has the dealership name and logo on starting up the car so I figure that it could be set or change.
Is there a video or guide on how to do it? I want to put my family picture as the start up home screen.
According to the navigation manual (attached), the navigation screen should go to the home screen within 5 seconds. But my IS never goes to the home screen without pressing the home button, but it always shows the full screen map. I tried many different things including "Auto Screen Change" setting but nothing seems to work.

Used the Nav for the first time this morning and it worked great - only problem was after about 1 minute it would automatically revert to the HOME screen on its own.
Only way to get back to Nav was APPS then NAV - but then only stays for a minute then back to the HOME screen.
I find the home screen to be a great idea and I generally love it. Today, while using the navigation system, the system kept returning me to the home screen after a few minutes of not interacting with it. I'm fine with it doing this on the audio or weather apps, but when I'm actively navigating I'd rather it would stay on the nav screen until I hit the home button. I skimmed the settings and the manual but did not see this addressed anywhere. Is there a setting I am missing someplace?

I have a 2010 LS 460 and would like to know if it is possible to have a split screen with Navigation and Audio? My Navigation screen appears to be the default, after 30 seconds the audio screen returns to the map.

I have my home screen set to show audio on the left side, weather upper right and climate lower right. Even though the audio section is the whole left side of the screen, it does not display the artist or song information for radio stations. If I click on audio, though, then in the full audio screen (with presets, etc.), it does show the artist and song information. How to get the info to display on the home screen?

#1. When I turn the car on... it loads to the Map/Nav... How can I default it to the Home screen?
#2. Is the analog clock really the only clock? Can I get a digital clock on the home screen/console?
The navigation screen on my recently went blank, while I was driving to my little brother's graduation. I can still see a faint outline of the screen, but other than that, it is hard to see. Have this problem with their navigation screen? I've tried look in the manual for a solution, but it doesn't have anything useful in it. I've googled for the solution as well, but most people said that if I were to bring it into the dealership, they would just replace my whole unit and that would cost $2000 or more, which is a no-go. I've tried to see if it was a fuse, but I got no idea what I'm looking at when I looked at the fuse box. I'm thinking it is maybe the backlight and that it maybe just died. By the way, the screen still works, I can still press on it and select my preset radio stations, but just can't see.
View 3 RepliesMy new '07 Camry with 5K miles on it, driving along, minding my own business. The navigation was on as it always is, but not in guidance mode. All of a sudden I notice the screen turn dark and I see this error: "MAP DVD - Unable to read data. Check if map DVD is correct." (see image)
I have never removed the DVD from the drive. It is clean as a whistle. I wasn't on a bumpy road. I tried resetting and cleaning it, but no good.
My Prius Navigation Sceen/Climate Control/Info screen will not respond to touch input. When I try to input anything, when I tough the screen, buttons to right of where I am touching come up. For example, on the info screen, when trying to go to the settings screen, all I get is the numeral zero.

View 3 RepliesDiagnosing different minor problems with my sc430. Tthe lastest one is that my navigation screen will not tilt back so the cover will go over it. It seems like its tilted forward all the way. The screen still works and all. But the tilt button does nothing and its too far out for me to get the wood grain cover to go over it. Is this a common issue? and whats the remedy?

View 1 RepliesFor the past few days, every time i turn the car ON (with the headlights ON), the nav screen, clock and surrounding buttons illuminate as they should, but after ~3 seconds, the illumination for the surrounding buttons and clock shut off.
Also, the touch-screen functioning and surrounding buttons do not work at any time. The nav screen remains illuminated, however the touch-screen buttons and surrounding buttons do not work. If i turn the car off and restart, same thing; all lights illuminate for about 3 seconds then stop.
During the day with no lights on, the clock will illuminate for ~3 seconds, then shut off just like above. None of the surrounding buttons (climate, map, infom audio, display, etc) work at all.
What would cause this unusual condition? I feel like if a fuse were blown, it wouldn't work, period. But, the lights illuminate for a few seconds before shutting off.
The emergency flasher button works and illuminates always, and the passenger airbag lights do, likewise. I pulled the nav unit from the car and checked all cables, and they all appear in place.
I can communicate with the car via the voice commands, but that's it.
what might be causing these strange symptoms?
Yesterday I noticed my nav screen stopped responding but partially. It'll let me press buttons on left side but not right side. Unfortunately the "I agree" is on right side so I can't even get passed that screen. I don't use the nav but I'd rather have the map showing then "Caution...."
